@countzero Not an excuse, it's a very succesful indie game recognized worldwide. It can hold itself just fine and Yacht should provide the money to the company making the board game to guarantee the best quality possible.

Why does Shovel Knight need another kickstarter? and now for a board game? It can stand on its own feet... Yacht Club Games should be funding this if anything geez.

Considering the success of Mario Odyssey, Spyro, A Hat in Time, and Crash, it goes without question there is a market. I also don't think it'd be a speck of dust in Xbox's library of games, and it'd help massively if they decide to get it out for the Switch as well.

There it is ladies and gents the one and only, most common response in defense of Game Freak's apathy towards Pokemon. Since when giving constructive criticism requires extensive knowledge about the subject? if I don't like a movie but I'm not a director or an actor I cannot say it was bad? Can you give me somebody less lame for me to argue with?

It's been like this since X/Y, it's very notorious of them, but now they justify scaling the models to HD as "better quality animation" in their vocabulary, but somehow doing so for all 800+ models is such an impossible task, it's just laughable.

Give me a break for the love of God, just give me one bloody break Nintendo Life. There are many MANY ways to balance and make even the most irrelevant pokemon shine and cutting half of them is not the solution. Why not include different categories in competitive battles such as light, heavy, type and more, so many different classes to choose from yet it all comes around to which Pokemon are the meta. If Game Freak is oh so tired of seeing every party with a shiny Rayquaza then they could easily solve this issue with what I just suggested. There is nothing beneficial about cutting down the most important aspect of Pokemon, the freaking POKEMON.

Decent alternative for folks who don't own a powerful PC or any other console, still not the best way to play The Witcher III, or any 3rd party game not exclusive to the switch. I insist, Nintendo consoles are just for Nintendo games, if you own a PS4 or XBOX One then do yourself a favor and buy them off from those systems. I can already see how compressed and downscaled it'll look and run.

@Tao You don't get it, if that were the case they should focus on the new pokemon, instead of filling the region awkwardly with other regional pokemon from the past games as just filler. What does being a regional pokemon mean anyway? you can find Pikachu anywhere despite being stated to be a pokemon who's habitat is in Kanto. I really hope they come to their senses, they are a juggernaut billionaire of a company and they have the manpower to make an amazing game, but a lot of effort is some kind of taboo to them apparently.

Minimum effort and great results is what Game Freak's been practicing for a long time. It's inexcusable for the biggest grossing franchise in the world, yet they insist that quality animations are having a pidgey use fly and awkwardly stand as if it were on the ground while in the air for 2 frames before unleashing the move.

@NintendoByNature you're joking right? All they needed to do is base on the actual design, it can work just fine even with some realistic details like the fur. Making a spawn of hell and call it a day is effort? Sure, it has to be of course, but they are dealing with the most demanding fandom in the world, they get no sympathy for just doing whatever the heck that is.
