Are people really playing this free 2 play garbage?
Played it 1 time last year, had no fun and realized, it's a free 2 play game, then deleted it and will never touch it again
@Nintendo4Sonic Garbage? Just because you don't like the game doesn't mean that game is garbage. Next time you comment, make sensible comments. Don't try to attract attention.
@JokerCK it's not about attention.
It's my honest mind about this game. That's what people do every day.
Seeing Shinobu all I could think was "Look how they massacred my girl..."
They are trying so hard to be Fortnite. Haha
@invictus4000 but who would try to be fortnite tho
Well done ninjala.
@invictus4000 they don't need to try to be Fortnite cause they are better in every single way
@Nintendo4Sonic The game has its issues I agree, but its in no shape or form garbage, Its a game that I can tell, must be pretty popular in JP to get a crossover with this game, They also seem to work hard to make this game what it is.
With that out of the way, I need these skins. I'm in!
@Nintendo4Sonic - That desperate for a first comment you make the hottest take on not only the game, but people's opinions of it?
I have played worse Tetris-like F2P games than this game as a whole. I have also played better mobile F2P games than this.
But that is by no means dictates this is a bad game. I enjoy it, not as much as Dauntless or Smite, but it has earned its space in my hard drive.
@Nintendo4Sonic You: Thinks Ninjala is trash
Also you: Thinks Balan WonderWorld is a 7-8 out of 10 game
i wish i could get into this game, all the crossovers are sick but it just isn’t fun to me
@JoeyTS indeed👍🏼
@Paraka you mean a place in your Switch's flash memory 😉
@Nintendo4Sonic yea your definitely the type who loves playing Fortnite in their parents basement
So glad to see that this game has made it to its first year. When this game first came out, loads of people were calling it the "Splatoon killer" or something. And when it didn't have the same levels of hype as Splatoon, those same people turned around and started calling it a dead game that would never get popular.
Well, it has. Turns out, despite all odds--the game is still going strong a full year later and despite its flaws, it's very fun and I can't wait to see what's next for this IP. Who knows? The Ninjala kids could even get into Smash Bros.
@Nintendo4Sonic - Well, technically my SD card, since I got a monolithic 1TB.
@Paraka nice, 1 TB?
I still use a 400GB one. But since I buy almost every game physical, it's still fine with place. Only some games like The Bioshock Collection are real space killers
@NinTasha What?!?
Kid, I'm a 35 year old man 😁
@Nintendo4Sonic - Yeah, 961 as of this morning in physical games, but I do dip into some good digital discounts, like dollar priced Bulb Boy.
@Nintendo4Sonic man you reeeaally like baiting people huh?
@Doofenshmirtz ehhh, no
@Nintendo4Sonic Well yes, it's actually making a profit, thus explains collabs whith big names such as Monster Hunter and Demon Slayer.
@Nintendo4Sonic
So you played it once and didn’t like it, then upon realising it’s a F2P game, decided to trash it because of the game genre because it “wasn’t for you”.
Move on lmao.
I feel like Splatoon deserves every collab this game earns instead
@EliteXeos I think the main market of gamers does not like or hate these F2P games with pay walls. But even if it would not be a game like that, the graphics were OK, but the Gameplay was meh. And there's Splatoon, which is just better.
@Paraka wait, you have 961 physical Switch games in your collection?
@Nintendo4Sonic - Yep, been one of the ones lurking in the collection thread for a while now.
Oh boy, that's a damn lot. Are just collecting them or do you also play them?
@Nintendo4Sonic yet you act like a 5 year old kid lol
crazy how its been a year already, ive been regularly playing the game and its even good timing that i just finished watching demon slayer too lol
the game may not been in the spotlight but im glad we're still getting regular updates
Tried it, used it, sucked at it, deleted it..
@NinTasha if you say so, who ever you are.
@iuli yep, i really liked it, only issue was..i think it was extended more than it really should have lasted, again, it was great, but did they really need that much time?
@Nintendo4Sonic lmao what's splatoon got to do with this, 2 completely different genres, similar art at times, so what's with the comparison? We get it, you don't like free games, big deal, i just think it's funny how you troll at your age, I'd have better things to do, but hey, i respect everyone and what they like to do, unlike others..
@TohruDX it's not my goal, to offense people here. Am I so rough with my opinion?
If people like to play Ninjala, my God. Do so, if you enjoy it.
And i compared it to Splatoon because of it's art and direction. Both are kinda kid friendly versions of a genre.
But Splatoon, in my opinion, is something special on it's own and set it's own trend and delivers a great Multiplayer and Solo campaign.
Ninjala instead felt like it was made for cheap cash in from the beginning. It felt poorly copied from other games and had no soul to me.
@Nintendo4Sonic ok, you're not so bad after all, this is how you express your opinions, nice arguments and respect, nice and solid..
It's crazy to think that it's been over a year has passed since Ninjala was released. I hope Ninjala continues to improve and grow more and stronger with every passing day, week, and month.
When they said they had a big collab coming up, I wasn't expecting this to be the collab at all. I was hoping it was Splatoon, but I would say that this is an even bigger collab.
Whoever is in charge of the Collab/Marketing area on the Ninjala team (or Gung-Ho) in general, they should get a huge raise, because the collabs they've done so far are really cool, and they've also 2 really well-timed collabs (MH: Rise, and this collab)
Sorry for the late responses guys, I've just been busy recently.
@Liam_Doolan
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THIS ARTICLE. I REALLY appreciate it. (Sorry for the All Caps, I'm just really happy that this article was written. I wasn't sure if this was going to be written about, and when I saw that it was, it made my day (as odd as that may sound). I hope you guys continue writing Ninjala articles for as long as Ninjala is a thing.
@Nintendo4Sonic
Yes, I am still playing Ninjala. I think it's really fun, although I'm one of the few people who seem to think that on Nintendo Life. Sorry to hear that you weren't able to enjoy it.
In case you're wondering, your initial response came off as really strong. I know you're not trying to come off as a troll, but you have to be really careful when expressing an opinion that you feel strongly about, to make sure that it doesn't come across as sharp or trolling. I know this because this is something I also struggle with as well. While I have gotten better at not coming across as sharp or really rude, it's something I'm still working on currently.
I hope you have a great day, and a really good weekend as well.
@MetalToad
Yeah, I'm glad it's doing well also. If you don't mind me asking, do you happen to play Ninjala?
@adammmmmm
Sorry to hear that you weren't able to enjoy Ninjala like you wanted to.
If you don't mind me asking, what do you think made Ninjala not fun for you?
@JR150
Yeah, I am also. I do wish it was more known (and liked) like Splatoon though. I mean, if you only use Nintendo Life as the only area for Ninjala stuff, you'd thought the game was dead, because of how little people talk about it on here, (outside of these articles, that is).
Let's just hope Ninjala continues to grow stronger for many years to come. The thing is, as much as it would be awesome for the Ninjala kids to make it into Smash. I believe the fighters were already chosen while Ninjala was being developed. I know Ninjala got delayed by a whole year, but I still feel it won't happen. I know that ARMS and XC 2 characters made into Smash, but those were already pushing it as is, even with the 1st Fighter Pass, and those are both Nintendo series, while Ninjala isn't.
@boxyguy
It's indeed crazy. Like I told JR150, I just wish that Ninjala was more into the spotlight. I just hope that more and more people start playing Ninjala more, so that it can continue to grow and have updates.
@SM3DASislit thanks bro
@Nintendo4Sonic
Glad I could help you out.
I waited to respond to see if anyone else would respond, but it looks like you're the only one who did.
Thanks for responding back, I really appreciate it.
Tried it at launch. Wasn't for me but great to see its found an audience.
@SM3DASislit
Do you work for the company that makes this game?
Ninjala is the best free to play game on the Switch, that's not even an opinion it's a fact they do so many better collabs then other games
@blockfight
Sorry to hear that you weren't able to get into Ninjala.
If you don't mind me asking, what made you not enjoy Ninjala as much? 🤔
@dew12333
No, I don't work for Gung-Ho nor am I an ambassador for them (or Ninjala), although that would be really cool though.
I just really like Ninjala, and I want to do well, but I feel like enough people aren't giving it enough credit, and so I make comments to kindly encourage people to try it who are on the fence about it, and thanking the Nintendo Life staff for writing these articles, so that people will continue to know how Ninjala has continued to improve.
I hope I'm making sense.
@CodyMKW
100% agree with you on that.
@JokerCK well he is correct it is garbage. Poorly put together and just another cash grab battle royals bs game.
@SM3DASislit it's been so long since I tried it I can't fully remember. I like the look of the game but the gameplay didn't click I think. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a try. Might try it again sometime.
@Liam_Doolan
Thank you for updating the article when the collab started; I really appreciate it. I (somehow) forgot to thank you once you updated the article in my initial comment after the article was updated.
Sorry for the late response, I've just been busy recently.
@blockfight
Okay, I was just curious. I do feel like the gameplay was more rough at launch than it is now. I would recommend giving it another shot, as I feel it definitely has improved since launch, and this coming from someone who has played pretty consistently since launch.
@SM3DASislit might try it out again some evening. Thanks.
I'm VERY, very, sorry for the really, really, really, late response.
@blockfight
Okay, thanks for letting me know. I hope you do try it out again, if you do let me know what you think of that.
