Sans was one of the highlights for me. I was laughing in awe and disbelief!

If he isn’t coming as a character, why not simply make it loud and clear in the main title of this article? “Sans is coming to SSBU as a Mii outfit”

@rushiosan making creative titles is like one of the only things websites like this can do to differentiate from the IGN'S and Kotaku's of the world.

I may or may not have screamed "WHAT!?" at the top of my lungs. I haven't even properly played Undertale yet, but...this was just incredible. The included remix is the cherry on top.

I genuinely freaked out in joy during this part of the presentation. This is the one thing in Smash Bros. that if you ask me, probably shouldn’t be in it, but for some reason is.

Now that Megalovania is in Smash, I just need Vriska and Tavros Mii Fighters...

I still haven’t unlocked the mii fighters on purpose.....still just don’t feel like they belong and the half assed costume versions character models don’t fit with the real fighters. Just seem too out of place. now this Sans on the other hand.....

Goemon was the highlight of the show.

I should download his costume to show that I want him as a regular fighter, right?

So this stage music, anyone know what stages it plays on? Goemon is cool, I’d liked to had him as an actual fighter tho.

I hate that the game won't allow you to put any song on any stage.

Megalovania only plays on the stages that have the "Other" category music (hanenbow, picto chat, duck hunt, etc.)

I like Goemon more, sorry not sorry

@PBandSmelly Looking at it again now, a better phrase probably would have been “doesn’t deserve to be in there”, cause let’s face it, Sans is a joke character. He’s on the same level as Waluigi in terms of the Smash fandom.

Also, Toby Fox seems to be pretty well regarded by japanese developers. He's also created the soundtrack for Game Freak's Little Town Hero.

@Deku-Scrub Mr. Game & Watch is one of my favorite things about Smash, and he's a joke character. Sans definitely belongs in this game.

This is good enough. Undertale was great, but to be included in Smash roster is an honor for every indie developer. Hope the trend continues. ( I need Celeste and her evil sister with the dash move)

Let me guess, one of the future DLC fighters will be Papyrus. lol

I never played Undertale, but is this game really so good, or do people only like it, because it is a big meme on the internet? Nowadays it is for me harder to tell if something is really popular because of the overall quality or because of the meme culture surrounding it.

Yeah, the internet can ruin a lot of thing for someone.

Undertale is like, really good. Avoiding spoilers: It has Earthbound levels of comedic writing, an interesting plot that pulls off meta narrative themes without seeming pretentious, and an out of this world soundtrack. If you have any love for games like Earthbound, Mother 3, or even games like the Mario and Luigi series, Super Mario RPG, or Paper Mario, I'd suggest you forget the memey butchering of what is honestly a masterpiece by the internet as best as you can and give it a try. And don't let anyone on the internet try to tell you the "right way" to play it either.

@hakjie11 I'd be pumped if Madeline made it in. I even put together a rough moveset idea a while back that admittedly wasn't the best - except for the Golden Feather down special, which could either be used to heal (akin to Deep Breathing from Wii Fit Trainer) if held for long enough, or act as a counter.
