Re: Feature: Every 3D Super Mario Game Ranked

3D land will always be number one for me.
BTW I have been playing Sunshine (wich I was ready to hate but i am really enjoying it) for the first time and I’m impressed at how influential and ahead of its time that game was. Astro Bot Rescue Mission (one of the most revered games of 2019) borrows a lot from it.

I am interested in Ori and Hades (hoping that the local eshop in my country brings them in, since not all games, in fact just a very small fraction of them, are release here in the digital form, so I can pay them in local money, otherwise I will have to overpay them as usual) here all digital games payed in foreing currency has a 30% tax. I envy you, lucky chaps with real eshops.

Re: The Day-One Update For Super Mario 3D All-Stars Is Now Available (Version 1.0.1)

AlienigenX

The only reason this insignificant update exists is to make those physical cartridges unplayable. Now it will always require to connect to the internet. I thought that maybe, just maybe, being a collection of old games, this one would be update free. Hence the cart will not become obsolete. So, thats it, no more physical games for me. Super Mario All Stars 3D Is the game that made me turn to digital.

Re: Poll: What's The Best 3D Mario Game?

AlienigenX

Having played only odyssey, 64 and 3D Land I gotta say that my favorite one is 3D Land. IMO Mario is better served in levels that in open world adventures. I think I will love 3D world. Maybe Galaxy or Sunshine will change my mind.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #59 - Sonic The Hedgehog 2

The orange and yellow border on the european one hurts my eyes. And the japanese one is nice, and the one I grew up with (our bootleg latin america cartridges were sometimes north american covers, sometimes japanese, most of the times, random nonsense mix up, or no cover at all) but there’s way too many text on it for my tastes. NA get my vote.

Re: Feature: How Nintendo's Game & Watch Took "Withered Technology" And Turned It Into A Million-Seller

AlienigenX

The first game I have ever played in my life was the “fire” game and watch.(yes, I am that old) My dad coworker had one and lend it to my dad for one night only. My brothers did not pay much attention to it, but I was hooked. I did not sleep that night. Nowadays I am struggling in order to gain more stars in the “game and watch advance collection” in my DS lite (damn you Donkey Kong 3!!!)so I can unlock all the hidden games. That is the root of my addiction to videogames. I guess it’s all nintendo’s fault.
