There's no reason to port beg on Switch. If they want to release a successful product then they can start with the mainline persona games. If not, there's plenty of other games to play.

@Arawn93 They're generous enough with gems for me, this has been amazing compared to Duel Links. The daily missions give up enough gems to make playing three or so games a day feel worth it, and they just gave us a ton of gems for the xyz event.

And I think the crafting system is more than fair. It would be so broken to be able to trade any random three same rarity cards for one of whatever you want in real life. 😂 Your mileage may vary, but I don't even feel like Konami's being stingy with the URs. I just opened a pack with three URs and one SR the other day.

Like sure, you have to put in some time and grind just like in any free to play game, but it's a much cheaper alternative to buying shiny cardboard.

@MostHandsieBoy It was definitely a lot to absorb when I got started. If I didn't have a friend in the game to turn to I'm sure I wouldn't have stuck with it.

You could always try Digimon if you want to play a better, simpler card game 🤔

If you'd like to get into the game you can always look up deck profiles online, and there are free simulators like yugioh omega to dip your toes in without paying a dime

One weird suggestion I have is to download the dkc trilogy. These are the only downloadable versions I've seen that don't stretch out or distort the image at all, so they look just like how I remember them on the SNES

I got the highest rank, but as there's no casual matchmaking I feel like I have to risk my rank if I just wanna play for fun. Kinda feel like if there's not going to be an unranked mode they should at least lock in your max rank 🙄

Anyways I'm totally smitten with Master Duel. I was pretty burned out on the game before but the format changes, fair free to play model, and quick matchmaking have me totally addicted. Ten dollars invested and my favorite deck is already at its most competitive.

I also love that Konami is taking steps to give Yugioh an identity outside of the anime. Anyone who was going to be drawn into the game from the anime is already here, I'm glad they're taking a new approach

Yugioh is an extremely complicated game. I came back to the game in 2018 and I still get confused about the under the hood stuff sometimes. Konami's even given up on including a rule book in structure decks it's so long. I feel like learning by having a friend teach you is nearly mandatory. I'm not surprised Konami's failing in their tutorial

I regret moving all of my downloaded games to the Wii U. The backwards compatibility is so clunky on Wii U, and now all my games are on a console I don't even like

I'd be more interested to know how the gems are earned than where they're spent, but I guess this does confirm that we're getting a duel links style monetization system. I feel like I've been reasonable successful in Duel Links spending very little money, so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Honestly looking at the whole batch without my glasses on, this looks like a really interesting, well rounded bunch of Fakemon. It would be interesting to see the bot design evolutions

It would be understandable if reducing the roster came with large scale gameplay shake ups, but otherwise I think porting Ultimate and adding more characters is the play.
