Good of them to offer an upgrade path unlike Square Enix. I've gotten so many hours of enjoyment from Minecraft I would have been willing to just buy it again if that's what it would have taken.

@Sepewrath Zelda does have a lot of pedigree, but I'd rather see something new than the second remake of a twenty year old game

I don't mind the remakes really, but I wish Nintendo would read the room a little more and not position an N64 remake as a direct finale/big holiday game.

@Howwy I dunno, I feel like there not being many Wii U owners means that they should have given us the royal treatment if anything. Those ten Wii U owners supported Nintendo when no one else would.

To be clear I agree that it would have been impractical, but it would have been nice to see them make an attempt

@larryisaman You're quite right, the jump between platforms is much more manageable in Square's case.

Come to think of it, Nintendo is bad with this too . As a Wii U player I ended up being asked to sometimes pay even more than I did originally to play my games on better hardware, and of course as these are Nintendo games I'm still waiting for them to drop into double dip range to this day. I ended up feeling like I was being punished for supporting these games on original hardware essentially.

It was pretty underwhelming honestly, not the sort of thing that's going to make the upcoming price hike feel any better. Fire Emblem looks weird but'll probably be good. Don't really care to replay Ocarina of Time. I'm weirdly more excited for Star Fox. The most exciting bit for me personally is Kingdom Hearts 4.

You'd probably need the mouse controls for this one. Even the mobile version feels really awkward to play.

That said the steam/pc version is obviously the one to go for. You can probably get the whole game for less than the price of the upgrade pack.

@Sodasoda That was just a bit of facetious fun. Actually the promise of technology is supposed to be that I spend less time working so I have more time to draw, not the other way around. And so far the future has been consistently horrifying

Now that a computer can draw for me I have more time to work. I love the future.
