If this game still looks disappointing on the Switch 2, then its obvious that their in-house Divinity engine is just terribly optimized for the Switch and Switch 2.

And if later down the road they still decide to launch it on the Switch 2... expect it to look and run like Divinity II on the Switch 1.

Still number 1 on the Switch2 eShop, via the Nintendo Store app. It has tumbled on the Switch eShop though, interestingly enough!

Has this update ended up being free...? I ask as there's nothing in the store, the file size on my device is bigger, and I think it looks better, but I can't be certain on the latter as I only played it until after the first foot clan encounter in the tute as it was horrible then and I don't think that means I'm qualified enough to speak on it now. Especially cos the main characters are still somewhat blurry.

I did enjoy this initially but bounced off it hard after just 8 hours, think I need to stick to more linear games for now

Aaaaahhh Hollow Knight. Started the game a total of 8 times just to stop somewhere near dung knight or whatever he is called. Such a fantastic game with gameplay that my reflexes can't adapt to.

Here we have some of the best 2D Mario music, hope all those that use the app enjoy it.
Also, fantastic game. It may only be 20mins, 40mins odd with new game +, but it's a good, varied, fun adventure. If you're short on time and want to have a quick full adventure, look no further.

I truly wonder if there will be any free content updates, or any future DLC for this game. I only play it when I bring the Switch 2 to friends, or sometimes when my wife feels like playing. But it's not been as memorable as MK8 Deluxe for me so far.

@Mgalens yeah you’re right I’ve had a fair share of bugs with verified games on steam deck for example art of rally it used to crash every time I paused it and sometimes not even load not tried it for months but it made me just give up on it it’s great when the effort is put to fix these annoying bugs although I suppose they don’t happen for everyone

@Oldstalk I played through every last bit of the original and have been wondering why I haven’t felt the need to play Silksong despite that. I think the reason is what you describe! I’d likely love a more upbeat alternative that plays like this.

Silksong is still in my queue of games to play, though I should be able to play it fairly early in 2026. Hopefully the DLC is out by then, but if not, then that's fine.

The Switch 2 Edition of Hollow Knight is really nice too. I had played a bit of HK in Switch 2 handheld mode to rematch NKG and noticed the graphics were a tad crunchy, so it's nice we're getting this free upgrade. Funnily enough, I had a passing thought about Hollow Knight getting such an upgrade the other day.

Glad people can still be excited about this game. I don't care about it anymore. Does it really need some new depressing and fun deprived area ? Well, apparently yes.

Never saw the sequel, but I loved the first movie, guess I'll watch the sequel at some point...normally I'd be excited for a game where you can be your own alien character on this planet in Avatar.

I'm sorry, but like EA...I'm sick of Ubisoft...almost every game I've played with them, were littered with bugs and crashes. It was the main reason why Mario + Rabbids was a terrible experience for me, despite everyone else saying "BEST GAEM EVAR!!1!" >_>

NGL I pretty much uninstalled immediately. This game is an insult to the fire emblem franchise and to gamers.

Just got my reptile physical copy today. This is amazing and I haven’t even played a game yet. Thing is though is I remember getting the comics in the mail (wish I still had all this stuff). The news letters…. Mortal Monday flyers and living it abacabb!
This is absolutely fantastic and entertaining going through all the videos and clippings. After watching something new it makes a sparkle when ya back out and I keep hoping I’m unlocking hidden stuff….Tosty!

Well done to whoever was behind this project and all these interviews. It’s bringing back so many memories of mystery of what was and was not in the games and the street scenes. Also answering lots of the lore from back then…. Really so pleased with this physical copy.

But I thought I'd still answer so as to not leave you hanging.

To answer your question about if I played the OG F-Zero on SNES, I was born in 1996, so I grew up more on the GameCube, but my parents had an SNES that I still played a lot on. But they never got F-Zero, so I never got around to actually playing it until it came to SNES Switch Online. When I finally did, it was at the same time as when I started getting into 99. And so it's probably harder for me to tell the difference between the two, other than the obvious additional actions in 99 like spinning and boosting at any time.

For what it's worth, despite preferring 99's control scheme, I still do play the Classic Race mode a lot in it, too. Though without the ability to boost at any time and instead only once per lap, it tends to feel to me like the original game mechanics favor the faster vehicles like the Fire Stingray more lol.

This is really cute. I have a cat sleeping on my lap right now, so... I'm obviously biased here. Might have to grab this.

@cedarhyped Who cares? If everyone had the exact same opinion on here then it would be even more dull than it already is thanks to the relentless toxic positivity. Personally, I think Three Houses is a huge step back from earlier entries. But I can’t deny that it impacted the general direction of the series in a way that Engage did not, considering the next one coming out is an obvious attempt to recapture Three Houses’ glory (and sales) with them showing Sothis front and centre in the trailer. That’s not even controversial, just basic economics. Since Three Houses released, they’ve been relentlessly pushing their Gacha crap on mobile, made another mobile game that was panned and made Engage which sold about a quarter of what Three Houses did. That is a complete failure to capitalise on recent success.

I'd like it if they finally fixed the game so that once I quit couch multiplayer and switch back to singleplayer, I don't have to go to the system settings and switch the controller order. It should just automatically go from split joycons to a single controller.
