Earlier today we brought you the news that there's a special NicoNico Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS broadcast taking place on 12th September, during which it seems there'll be some final reveals ahead of the title's release in Japan. An announcement from Nintendo of America suggests that it's keen to share final details of the brawler — and more games besides — in its own way, as there'll be an eight hour Nintendo Treehouse broadcast on the same day.

No specific times have been given yet, but as you can see in the tweet below it'll all be on Nintendo's Twitch Channel this Friday.

The promise of footage of upcoming games on Wii U and 3DS is tantalising, naturally, especially for those that remember the Treehouse team's excellent efforts during E3. It's the promise of final build coverage of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS that catches the eye, however, as it'll no doubt deal with any final details that will become public knowledge the moment the title lands in Japan.

We'll be covering news from the NicoNico video, while also live blogging and streaming the Treehouse broadcast right here on Nintendo Life when it takes place this Friday. Are you excited about what we could see? Let us know in the comments below.
