Re: Video: Experience an Awakening With this Fire Emblem Warriors Story Trailer

worldstraveller

@TsukiDeity It's probably for the reasons you stated, but still irks me a little, because of twin protagonists which kinda bases on the avatares defaults of male and female from the recent FE games (same hair color and eyes, the outfit is almost the same), unless they could make alternates as way to unlock the characters, for example the female robin being controlled by Grima as a boss fight (I think this would be cool, since in Awakening there is two Robins of the same gender, while played around parallel worlds of Awakening), something like that or similar.
It still bugs me, though.
I am one of those who wish for them to include Celica and Alm, I'm still am playing Echoes, though.

Re: Nintendo Outlines Pricing and Details for DLC in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

worldstraveller

I feel pretty neutral about this...
I agree that the DLC is just extra, including the ones which has is some characters backstory (which is more of an expansion of some of the characters and not the story), it doesn't change the echoes has the main story with some free DLC.

However I do agree the season pass is very expensive, it's pretty much the price of a retail 3DS game, that's just bad, one would prefer buying a different game instead of a collection of DLC.

it's best to buy them individually when you feel like playing them instead all at once.
the most worthy ones to me is pack 4 and the extra classes.

Re: Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

worldstraveller

something tells me I'm going to like the story of the game a lot, from what I have been seeing from the trailers, it will be a bit like Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance where you play with 2 characters in parallel simultaneously, experiencing one story in 2 perspectives, that's pretty cool.
Out of the 2 main characters, the one who caught my attention the most was Celica.

Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo Direct Summary - 1st September

worldstraveller

It was a fine direct, a bit disapointed that they didn't show an english trailer of disney magical world 2 (would have been nice - they only announced the release date which we already knew from nintendo of europe twitter), I mean, it's only one month away now.
I guess we'll have to wait when it comes the launch trailer then :/

Re: Feature: Thoughts on the 3DS as It Reaches Its Fifth Anniversary

worldstraveller

The 3DS is my favourite game system together with PS3, the one I own will make 5 years old this year (yes the standard and launch one, aqua blue) and still works.
the first brand new game system I bought, it's pretty special, one of my dearest investments. (I never had a nintendo handheld when was younger even though I always wanted one).

Re: A Wii U and 3DS Nintendo Direct Is On the Way

worldstraveller

release dates for europe...
some localization games confirmation would be nice like monster hunter stories, disney magical world 2 (that is if will be localized, there is a bit of musical, which may make it difficult to localize it, the game has a lot more than the first one), the new ace attourneys, but not counting on it.
like many already said the big titles will be at E3.

Re: Talking Point: The Time is Right for a Nintendo Direct

worldstraveller

I think it's already time for Nintendo Direct, new games is probably confirmation of localization of some games and release dates of some games still wasn't announced, for Europe FE Fates, Yokai-Watch, etc.
localizations need to be confirmed like Disney Magical World 2, Ace Attorney and so on.
More info about Snack World as well, etc.

Re: There's a New Yu-Gi-Oh! Game on the Way to 3DS this Summer

worldstraveller

@Angelic_Lapras_King I agree in great deal about the microtransactions, it was terrible, seriously the small pack of cards you won from a duel, you had to pay for it with duel points and they weren't free at all, they could have left to pay was for the customization, structure decks and packs on the store only, the packs from winning duels would be free, but nope.
Like you hopefully is better balanced this time around.

Re: Fire Emblem Fates Releases In North America On 19th February, Special Triple Edition Also Confirmed

worldstraveller

so NA has the date confirmed and be in February, except for Europe to have a release date...this feels familiar...oh yeah it happened with Awakening, let me guess, Fire Emblem Fates will come to Europe in April or May but will be announced the release date in next Direct for Europe probably around March, sounds likely.
Even though Disney Magical World took 6 months to be released in Europe after being released in NA, so DMW is a worse case.
Even though I would prefer a single release, but at least is fair that both regions will have 2 versions and a DLC, just not at the release date announcements.
I have intentions to buy the special edition (to have all 3 and even comes with an artbook), since Europe will come later anyway, at least will give me enough months for me to save money to buy it.

Re: Rumour: New Report Suggests That Konami Has All But Abandoned Console Development

worldstraveller

@Sanicranfast they are already on that with Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation, but games like DS3DS and tag forces is over, my favourites will be always tag forces though.
so it's a shame, I mean look at YGO! MiIllenium Duels (I have it btw, PS3 version...) and now on YGO Legacy of the Duelist just for XBox One and PS4, and no story at all, at least tag forces and DS/3DS had some story and art...

Re: Preview: Fantasy Life is Waiting to Become Part of Yours

worldstraveller

@galachef55 and @Nictendo64 , from friends list and online as well, there is 2 modes, the Local and internet, you can confirm in the recent 30 seconds mini trailer that came out recently from Nintendo UK and and you see the menu in Multiplayer Clerk in Nintendo Treehouse Day 2 Fantasy Life 19:40-19:45

Re: Nintendo's Unity Presentation Confirms Critically Acclaimed Gone Home for Wii U eShop

worldstraveller

@C-Olimar @SageWaterDragon I'm pretty sure isn't because of the lesbian subject alone, there is a lot of other good elements that it has, such voice acting, the amount of detail implemented, the sides stories of the protagonists's parents and nice touches.
I don't think the story is mediocre, since I have seen actual mediocre stories, it's simple, yes, but doesn't mean isn't good, it has nice direction, rest is matter of taste and interpretation.
just because you don't like it, it doesn't mean is terrible, you just don't like the story.
this game depends on tastes alone.
as I said before, one post before, not everyone's cup of tea.
personal tastes is different from quality.

Re: Nintendo's Unity Presentation Confirms Critically Acclaimed Gone Home for Wii U eShop

worldstraveller

I think the main complain I do actually agree about this is the price, I think is expensive for a 4 hours game where you only interact with and explore the environment, just isn't at a fair enough price, it's too much.
I loved the game, but since I played through "free methods", I don't have to complain about the price.
I do think is a good game but not everyone's cup of tea(all games are the same). If you want challenges then isn't your game, but if you want just interactive and immerse storytelling maybe you will like it.
it's a matter of taste in the end.

Re: Sakurai Explains Why Chrom Didn't Make It Into Super Smash Bros. For Wii U And 3DS

worldstraveller

Robin, as Sakurai says is perfect fit (perfect representation of the series as Tactical RPG and being an tactitian class with huge potential of diversity in movesets), actually it was Robin, the main reason that would motivate me to officially or almost officially being more genuinely interested in Smash Bros and WiiU (which I never played and chance to see what is like, the only Nintendo home console I ever owned was NES), making smash bros having enough library games I'm interested (including backwards compability, making it extensive enough of exclusives I'm interested in).

But I agree with @Splatom @DreamyViridi @DivineStorm , however I don't consider her as bad representation of Marth, but a good representation as female even more being a nice bonus of an alt that got lucky, making it obvious who is the main newcomer, the star of the newcomer trailer...Robin (which I'm quite happy) - even some those who don't play Fire Emblem was interested in him/her.

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th July (Europe)

worldstraveller

@Nintendzoey couldn't agree with you more, at the moment would Disney Magical World, just being localized, I would be happy (since I couldn't buy right now, but I would be quite undecided between Fantasy Life and Disney Magical World).

on the subject, not much this week, if they would finally start GBA VC on 3DS, I would be happy.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Nintendo's E3?

worldstraveller

it was a good E3 Nintendo this year, the games that caught my attention was Splatoon, Captain Toad: Treasure Hunter (and I don't even own a Wii U, though I'm interested as PS4, need a job first before I buy them) and Fantasy Life (this one I want it almost as bad as Bravely Default and Disney Magical World - Nintendo Europe, please localize it).
E3 in general to include would be Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix and Yoko Shimomura and Hiroyiki Nakayama from Square-Enix Presents and the Nintendo events.

Re: Reaction: Our Thoughts on Nintendo's Big Day at E3

worldstraveller

As for the complaint about the lack of 3DS, isn't it today they gonna announce the unannounced title of 3DS, anyway? I'm pretty sure, we're gonna have some more.
remember there is also Fantasy Life to talk about that appeared on Digital Event.
but I do agree, Nintendo did came strong, Splatoon, Captain Toad and Zelda caught my attention (besides being attentive to the interview with Co-Director of Kingdom Hearts)

Re: Disney Magical World

worldstraveller

I hope it really gets europe release, I'm really interested in this game really, seems the perfect game to take some breaks from story-driven games on my 3DS, no pressure.
