Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Switch Port Is Finally Confirmed

turnmebackwards

Added to my wishlist/watch list but feel like I need to wait until released. Awaiting to see what the day one patch does. Then await the 1 to 3 month bug fixing frame rate patches. Then see if they keep patching or we just have to accept the terrible frame rate drops and popin graphics and bugs. To finally get a masterpiece like The Witcher 3 turned out to be on the Nintendo Switch.

The joys of ownership of the Nintendo Switch, anyone heard the rumours that a pro console is coming out?

@JaxonH I can see what your saying but still comparing handheld Vs. home console is not right. First you pay a lot more for a home console so you expect a lot more first party top games & 3rd party support. First party top games on the Wii U yeah it has them last one being Smash then Mario Kart. But it's still not enough for die-hard Wii U fans like myself who have had the console since launch.

@JaxonH I don't regard the Vita as abandoned platform it has a steady flow of games & more games released on it then the Wii U. But comparing handhelds to consoles is not always a good idea. Even the 3DS does not have a bucket load of games. Also the Vita is the perfect handheld for people who like Japanese games / RPGs. The Wii U is a home console that costs more then the Vita or 3DS so having games released for it is a must as it's a bigger investment. Not saying you should not release games for handheld consoles but home consoles are more important to me & many others.

@Shiryu Glad I'm not the only one that feels like this. I love the Wii U & love the games I've played on it. It just seems to always be a drag on the Wii U waiting for the next game. Trouble is if you don't like the next game coming out on the Wii U your screwed because no 3rd party games come to the Wii U. So if you don't enjoy everything Nintendo puts onto the Wii U your pretty screwed. But even if you do enjoy everything Nintendo puts out on the Wii U you'll still have months waiting for the next game. Which as a fan of the Wii U can be rather annoying. I also feel we never know where we stand with the Wii U like the poor Virtual console & never 100% knowing what's coming out or when. Then with the NX rumors it's made me doubt the Wii U even more hopefully the direct will clear everything up & be happy days.

Re: The Legend of Zelda for Wii U No Longer Set for 2015 Release

Sigh owning a Wii U since launch has been many lows with the odd high aka Mario 3D World & Mario Kart 8. Not sure what else is even worth looking forward to this year apart from Starfox. Splatoon does not interest me just got to look at how cheap the Pre-order prices are to see it's nothing more then a glorified e-shop title.

It's good that Nintendo games hold value. So all the people saying screw scalpers these people are not. It's not like they brought the game & thought I know these will making a killing on eBay & hold value.

If anything it's Nintendo fault for not meeting the demand for the game in the first place with enough physical copies. Meaning due to low numbers available more money when people sell on eBay.

This happens with loads of Nintendo games even going back to NES & SNES games they hold value. It's a good thing people so saying screw eBay sellers are just silly. A lot of people need to sell games for many reasons. And the fact Nintendo games hold value is a bonus unlike Sony or Xbox games which turn from £40.00 into £0.99 if your lucky.

Also I've already made the point they still are worth value & Nintendo Life article is wrong!

The one that sold before the direct was brand new which of course would drive up the price.
Estocks always have low buy it now prices half the time they don't no what the true value of a item is & will always try to be the cheapest price on eBay or Amazon. They are selling the items they get from people selling them to music magpie. Estocks list with no information so you'd not no if it comes with manuals box or even cover.
One sold yesterday - 171655613592
Total price - £63.99
So this article is rubbish!

Re: New Exploit Makes The 3DS Region Free Without The Need For A Flashcard Or Game Cart

So I've gone ahead & ordered Senran Kagura 2 from Japan in the hope this works. If not I have 5 cool new figures 2 CD soundtracks & a game I can't play. Hopefully it does not get patched be a bit cheeky if Nintendo patch it when the older 3DS handhelds are being discontinued with the new one coming out.
Also could you avoid the patch if they do by just turning off the updates?

Re: Watch: Catch Up With the North American, European and Japanese Nintendo Direct Broadcasts

@Nanamine Personally I think the next line up for Wii U games would be better just as e-shop titles not full released Nintendo games. A side from Xenoblade it's just fodder to fill the gap between the big hitters like Starfox & Zelda this year if they even come this year.

This direct had crap mobile type pay games for 3DS & Wii U.
Amiibo garbage.
Then a new 3DS which really is not worth £179.99.

Not play many games ha. I just don't limit myself only to Nintendo games. I've said what I'm looking forward to most on Wii U - Starfox / Devil's Third / Project Cars.
