Re: Super Smash Bros. Hitting 3DS This Summer, Wii U Launch To Take Place In The Winter

turnmebackwards

Looked amazing never been a big Smash Bros. fan but this direct won me over. Annoyed the fact we never got a official release date. Can't see this game saving the Wii U now due to more people having a 3DS & would take a lot for them to buy a Wii U then buy Smash Bros. so doubt it will win many people over. This worries me though Mario Kart May for Wii U then what nothing until Christmas when maybe Smash Bros.?

Re: Nintendo of Europe Confirms Upcoming Game Boy Advance Wii U Virtual Console Releases

Cheaper to buy the original games & play them on the Gamecube Gameboy player. Seems silly to release them on the Wii U & not 3DS. Could have released Gamecube games on the Wii U but nope we get GBA.
Nintendo always seem to do the opposite to what makes sense or what the fans want.
They don't even have a system in place to keep the games safe onto a account if you loose your Wii U or something happens all VC games gone. Just seems so backwards Nintendo sort it out not only is the Wii U behind the PS4 & Xbox One massively sales wise. It also now has no 3rd party support ugh.

Ninja Gaiden (Wii U Virtual Console) for me
Might get F1 Race Stars: Powered Up Edition but unsure if it's any good? And can buy physical for £4.99 new on PS3.
Already got Mario Kart on SNES other wise I'd be all over that.

Re: Latest Assassin's Creed Announcement Continues Doubts Over Wii U Inclusion

Be rather sad if we don't see the AC game coming to PS3 / 360 also come to Wii U. But I can understand why the PS4 / Xbox One game later on this year won't be coming to Wii U.

Has anyone else noticed how Ubi-Soft games don't hold value at all?
If Watchdogs does come to Wii U it will be £15.00 in the bargain bins within three months. It's happened with ever Ubi-Soft game that's been released on the Wii U.

Saves me some money, I kind of expected it to at least be a 7 but 5 makes this a no buy for me. Need something to feel the void until May 30th I've not turned my Wii U on since Feb when I finished Donkey Kong.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Direct Pointed to Another Wii U Retail Drought

Been the same since the Wii U came out lack of games coming out all year round. Poor 3rd party support & most 3rd party games I've found to be buggy or freeze on the Wii U not as bad as it was since most got patched but still a problem.

When I brought the Wii U in launch window I was happy with Mario U & ZombiU brought odds & ends of 3rd party games which not too bad then this drought happened. Everyone was like games are coming but not until Mario 3D in November anything groundbreaking came out on the Wii U.

Now the wait again until Donkey Kong I've played some 3rd party since I was done with Mario 3D by December I've put near 30 hours into it.
I'm guessing Donkey Kong will be a 10 or 20 hour game maybe bit longer if your die hard & collect everything. I plan on playing all day Friday & all weekend so I'll be done fast then I'm dead in the water with the Wii U until May when Mario Kart comes out which is pretty much June. I have a PS3 which I plan on getting Sniper Elite 3 for in March so that will feel a bit of the gap. I played Sniper Elite 2 on Wii U reason for wanting 3 but not released on Wii U & other consoles will get the full game unlike Sniper Elite 2 was on Wii U.

After Mario Kart which depends how good online is depends how long it will last me I'm unsure what I'll be playing next on the Wii U. Bayonetta I only want to play if they release the first game with it or DLC or something other wise I'll give it a miss. I'm not a Smash Bros fan so unless we get a Star Fox game this year or Hyrule Warriors comes out soon or a new Mario game or Gamecube games remade in HD I'm going to be a sad Wii U owner.

Re: Nintendo Direct: Trailers Round-Up

turnmebackwards

I'm fed up with Nintendo currently we have two games confirmed for release this year. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze then a 3 month gap for Mario Kart 8. Only three other games where mentioned again Smash Bros, X & Bayonetta 2 none have release dates just coming soon.
Nothing new has been confirmed Hyrule Warriors which was reveled last time just left out in the cold not even a coming soon. Along with Yarn Yoshi & Shin-Megami Tensei vs Fire Emblem both nothing said.
So where does this leave the Wii U just a whole load of coming soon 2014 / 2015 will we ever get a real virtual console or just one a week if where lucky will Gamecube games be released on Wii U will Metroid or Star Fox or Zelda ever come to Wii U still left with loads of questions & no answers very disappointed
