Probably a popularity ploy. They make a movie about a game a ton of kids play, then make it gory, but parents think it'll be just fine cause it's minecraft, and then boom people start berating on the movie like with gta and instant popularity, cause it would be ALL over the media. No such thing as bad popularity in this world.

(': I know this has been said thirty million times, but just... just... R.I.P Iwata. There's nothing more I can say, I can't make a elaborate poem in his honor or anything. I'm just a average Joe, and I don't have any specific talents. I just had a special connection with him, because the first video game I ever played, was Balloon Fight. Ever since he's been my idol. It's been a good run Iwata, I hope you look down from Heaven, and smile at your legacy, friends, and every gamer.

I can't say much. You touched my heart, and changed my life forever. There's nothing I can do in return that will even come close to matching what you did for me. Splatoon takes the cake for me. Absolutely the best multiplayer game I have ever played on a console. Runner up is easily Super Mario Maker.

And Multiplayer should be in WiiU, Cross platform multiplayer! But have WiiU exclusive weapons.

It would be so amazing if you could buy the 3ds game and get all of the new characters, costumes, and all that in the wiiu version, in a 3ds integration. I find it annoying that they release a game on WiiU, and then just go ahead and make a superior version right afterwards... UGH!

Everyone that says "NX will be something fresh, new!" are wrong. A console can't be "fresh" every console is the same. They play videogames. That's their purpose, and that's what they do. The Wii had motion controls. It still just played videogames. The N64 had 3d graphics. It played videogames. The WiiU had the gamepad. It played videogames. I really don't get all the fuss. But the continous support for WiiU makes me so happy. Cause I just can't go buy a new console that doesn't have backwards compatibility. I still think there will be backwards compatibility to some extent, as in free digital versions of WiiU games or something of the like. But the NX is either a new console, or a platform. Either way I'm happy.

@soma Number one, Child of Light isn't indie, it's a ubisoft game. And 2, GET IT! It is soooooo dang good.

@Xenocity I'm the computer geek in my family, and I don't see why switching to ARM CPUs would make backwards compatibility out of the question. With a hand held, it's not unlikely that we'll see it. Not to mention the best digital line up ever seen in the history of Nintendo, if not the whole industry. I don't think Nintendo would give up some of their greatest games just like that.

@VanillaLake It's not that they're getting greedy, it's that it's just been a poor year, and if they don't sell their games at full price, the run the risk of going bankrupt, and not being able to support the company. Regardless of the quality, or whether they realize the games are bad, they still need to make money. Personally I think that this year has been pretty good. Just look on the bright side! We're not stuck with Virtual Boy U, or The Legend of Zelda for CDI-3! Even amiibo festival wouldn't have gone down bad in my book if it weren't for the amiibo requirement. The only issue nintendo needs to work on in my mind, is relying on amiibo. And the NX better be backwards compatible with Wii U and Wii or I'm not getting it.

As far as a new IP, I'd love a new modern age Golden Axe, and this is a really obscure IP, but I want more Bonanza Bros! Google it if you don't know what it is. As for Sonic: a Sonic Colors sequel that you know, is good. Also I really hope they don't pull a Konami on us. Why? Why'd you do it Hideo Kojima?

If possible, a 30th anniversary edition version of Zelda U(or Zelda NX if rumors are correct.) would be awesome, I got the 25th anniversary version of Skyward Sword and loved the music album that came with it,(infact i'm listening to it right now while i'm typing.) so I would love a similar idea, but I want the disc case on the anniversary edition to be Gold colored, not have a sleeve and rather print the title right onto the box, also perhaps come with a tips and tricks book for the game kinda like the mario maker idea book, and MAYBE Have a zelda u amiibo? and/or a zelda themed nfc item? Also, off topic having new 3ds cases use nfc to unlock themed wiiu backgrounds? I seriously think the wiiu is lacking on customization.
