Be it by artwork, music, or something else, many artists have found creative ways to express their love for their favorite games. Seeing as how it's the 20th anniversary of Pokémon, it's no surprise that there's been something of a surge in Pokémon related content that's appearing around the web. While this will no doubt continue all throughout the year, an interesting project was recently announced that – if completed – will take several years to finish.
Stained Glass Geek is a project run by the talented Arjan Jelle Boeve, an artist who specialises in producing beautiful stained glass works depicting various pop culture icons. Stained Glass Geek recently created a patreon for a Pokémon project, where Boeve intends to create one stained glass Pokémon portrait every week until every Pokémon is accounted for. It'll be interesting to see whether or not this continues until completion, but the progress so far looks promising. Each piece will cost about $75, and it seems that there will be some sort of lottery system in place for choosing who gets which piece.
What do you think? Would you be interested in picking one of these up? What's some of your favorite Pokémon fan art? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

omg i need
these need to be put up on etsy that i may buy them, even if i can't/won't. i jsut like the thought of it being available. also, i wish he had a facecam when he realized that there were going to be new ones with gen7.
I would buy a few legendaries with Gen 1,2, and 4 starters if I had the chance 👀. Also this Pokemon fan better be prepared for Sun and Moon as well.
It's neat to see fan projects like this! Hopefully it doesn't get shut down.
It ain't something I would buy, but those do look pretty cool. 721 Pokemon and making a new one every week. Wow, good luck to him.
It will be perfect for decorating the St-Satoru Church we will build the day Nintendo fans rule the world!
I just want a totodile one and thats it.
Will he be doing mega evolutions?
That's pretty cool. There's more than 721 now though
saving money for Meloetta one!
@Braok
your actual avatar = my reaction if the stained glass artwork of Meloetta is really ""super effective""
XD
that's pretty interesting, hopefully he/she does not get in trouble by TPC
They do look good.
But I am waiting for the Amiibos. That will cost me £9,365.79. Saving as we speak.
"All 721" won't be "all" anymore by next winter. Just sayin'.
It looks very nice, I hope they don't get shut down
@Trinexx
high change. Artist is making non-official Pokemon products and planning to sell those for over 54000$.
Jolteon is one of my favorite Pokemon so I love that one. It is going to take him quite a long time to accomplish this goal. Years actually, if he really does plan on making one every week.
While that's going to be incredibly hard, especially when Sun & Moon roll around, It's a really cool idea
its absolutly stunning,great work but...where is the fun in this?make some original designs broh!there is pokemon stuff enough
That's so cool. If that was the price (maybe more) to buy one of them instead of pledge amount, I would drop some cash if there's no legal trouble.
I'll be stunned if he even reach the 200 Pokemon count.
I need a Cofagrigus one! It's my favorite x3
I'll take a Feraligatr glass, please.
Thank you for this kind article! Although the conclusion is quite mistaken: Patreon enables me to build a backing supporters group who join me on this mission by pledging per Pokemon. In turn the backers receive content such as designs, video tutorials, wallpapers, pictures of these Pokemon inspired stained glass pieces.
When the first goal of 300$ is met I can pay the expenses for shipping all the pieces to a weekly winning supporter on Patreon. During this phase I only create the smaller Pokemon. Once the 2nd or 3rd goal have met the pieces can become bigger
Important note is that I'll create each Pokemon only once, and they're not available for purchase.
@Dpullam it would take 15 years unless the support budget allows me to quit my day job. Then i'll be able to create Pokemon on a daily basis and speed up the process.
