Shigeru Miyamoto is awesome. We're pretty sure anyone that's played his games, seen him in E3 / Nintendo Direct presentations or simply read his interviews will agree. A master of the gaming industry and, lest we forget, one of the three most senior figures within the whole of Nintendo.
He may be a senior executive, but he's a fun-loving gamer first. This is beautifully distilled down in a new 'guess the amiibo' video posted by Nintendo UK; not only is Miyamoto-san impersonating an amiibo, but this writer believes he's doing so of the best amiibo.
That's all opinion, of course, but check out the video below for 10 seconds of pure Miyamoto joy.

You just don't get this with the other companies
Bless Miyamoto, he's truly awesome. Still not buying any amiibo though.
So it's probably Bowser, right?
Yeah I think so.
"Also has an unhealthy obsession with all things Bowser." Yep. It's bowser/
Now we need Reggie and Shibata to pose....
Little things like this is why I will always love Miyamoto.
damn, now I really want a Shigeru amiibo… MAKE IT HAPPEN, NINTENDO!!!
He's getting ready to do the Kamehameha wave - GOKU amiibo confirmed!!
@abe_hikura How true indeed.
The closet one is Capcom but even their stuff isn't anywhere as charming as this.
Oh Miyamoto, you old goofball!
Is this foreshadowing a Miyamoto amiibo?
"Do your best villager expression!"
...Psycho kills three people with an axe...
I love him so much. It would be funny to get videos like this with all the Nintendo presidents doing something like that.
Guess that amiibo, with Reggie Fils-Amie!
Reggie stands in an area surrounded with fences that say JAPAN ONLY holding a sunflower
Got to be SSB4 Bowser with that positioning and the growl...
That was underwhelming...
Gotta impress Bowser Jr. somehow.
This man is God to me.
Awesomeness? Read this and then tell me what you think about Miyamoto killing any meaningful story.

@FlameRunnerFast Yes, because him making a decision you don't like mitigates not only the significance of his impact (both past and current) on gaming as a whole or the fact that he has a very affable personality despite working in a pretty toxic industry. /sarcasm
I guess this further proves that Bowser Jr's mother is Bowser
hahaha
@FlameRunnerFast " Miyamoto: Yes. I don't think that a story alone can make a game exciting. I'm afraid that people think that I ignore story lines or that I don't feel that the story has any value. My first priority is whether the game play is interesting. What I mean by that is that a player is actively involved in the game. The story is just one of the ways to get players interested, like the enemies or puzzles. If you just want a good story, you should pick up a novel or see a movie. The difference is in the participation. In a game, you might meet a character, but you don't find out his story until later, after you do something that reveals the truth about him. It's all up to the player. You only get that sort of experience with the interactive entertainment. Of course, the scenario, characters and graphics are all important, but its this active attitude that is the most important element."
However its "nice" to see people take his viewpoint out of context when at the same time he's delivered the most story heavy Pikmin game(Pikmin 3) and allows LoZ's story to get bigger and bigger each game and Star Fox Zero is going to go deeper into Star Fox 64's story. Just because the guy doesn't think the Mario series should necessarily have anything but a simple story(which considering the wide appeal of the character across different cultures a game that you could understand even if it wasn't in a language you could is pretty fitting for Mario) doesn't mean he hates story in games.
He's an Amiyamobo!
