Baby Park was only good in Double Dash due to the sheer carnage of the special items like giant shells and Chain Chomps. Its been nurfed so bad in the later games it just doesn't hit the same.

Capcom have had many failed attempts at bringing Resident Evil Co-op experiences to life with lasting effect.

Outbreak are the way forward imo for a good experience for that classic RE vibe rather than the action/vs feel of the attempts like Umbrella Corps. Outbreak is generally great fun when played with real people working together to clear scenarios.

The Resident Evil Board Games are really great games despite some overly complex mechanics but I enjoy them, their Ni No Kuni 2 game however was terrible, really beautifully designed in regards to the way it looks but it's gameplay is so lactlustre. I hope because this is made for kids it's not obscenely easy. Kids games can be great fun for a quick round or two between heavy tabletop games

I have physical MH Rise and Story of Seasons arriving tomorrow. I'm not going to get Balan but I'm super interested in the speed running community ripping that mess apart.

It's hilarious that they thought the game was in a great state when they released the demo and didn't even expect such backlash.

And I'm very happy to be one of those backers. I'm much more receptive to try a newer take on these sim games since the legacy developers such as Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon have lost their way, whereas Stardew Valley shines. Looking forward to playing it

Love my Wii-U and had tonnes of fun with it. Seeing Memes on Miiverse pop up on the home page was the best!

@TheFrenchiestFry it's super clear that Arendale was supposed to be more important than it ended up and I'm assuming that the unexpected mega popularity Frozen gained had a big impact on Disney allowing the original concept to go.

Larxene pretty much talking about Elsa choosing Light or Darkness than that going nowhere makes me believe Elsa would had been a boss in some form.

Such a shame though since the world is so disjointed in its final state.

Why no Toy Box battle theme, it's one of my favourites from KH3. Really surprised how small the tracklist actually is for that game over the others, but the rest are killer lists.

I like the idea that a human from our world gets transported to the world of Monster Hunter somehow, but the military weapons and vehicles I cannot get behind.

Would had been much more palitable to have her be transported and then meet the Hunter who would teach her how to survive the world by hunting like him and to have the plot be about getting her home somehow. I think these movies fail because they try and make them so 'action packed' they become generic.

@BulbasaurusRex There's a lot of debate over which version is better but I know some fans prefer the Dreamcast Version because even though DX updated the character models and 'fixed' some bugs it also created it's own bugs that effected the lighting engine and texture work of the original, with the PC DX Port being ridiculously buggy in that regard. But it's still subjective and down to preference. I personally enjoy both equally.

Australia falls under the PAL region for releases right? It's no surprise that there are connection issues then when it's trying to connect with Europe if that's the case.

Why would you region lock this game when there is no direct communication besides preset phrases? It's not like language would be an issue in that case.

Back to Nature/Friends of Mineral Town are in my top for favourite games of all time. So as soon as this was announced i was up for it.

This port is really great but I would recommend playing it exclusively in handheld mode with a stylus. The joycon controls can be frustrating at times which can taint the experience. The touch screen controls however are responsive and engaging. This is my favourite version of the game to play portable

Is not Kickstarters fault its however the company using the tool ships the games 'fault'

I back massive Boardgame campaigns and never get hit by customs because the companies in question ship the products to distribution hubs and then have 3rd party shippers issue the games out (companies like gamesquest)

If platinum got copies sent to a UK hub by freight and then shipped out direct then this wouldn't have been an issue.

@BabyYoshi65 No its not the TCG adapted into a Board Game that the article suggests, its literally a 3 deck starter kit, the 'board' is a two player playmat with the zones marked (Active Pkmn, Bench, etc)

It's not a board game. It's a TCG Product with a playmat and easy to learn pre-constructed decks. Essentially an access tool for new people to play and learn the game.

From reading the comments I'm actually surprised how some people still don't understand how DLC for fighting games works now...

Like the characters added by DLC weren't all completed and just put aside for later. The main game is completed and then DLC development is started which is why they are staggered in release.

DLC seasons is now what keeps a specific game in the scene otherwise they die out. There's a reason why Tekken 7 and Dragonball Fighterz are still played after all this time.

Theme Hospital was possibly one of my most played games as a kid. My sister and I used to spend so much time playing it together making the best hospitals so it's a nostalgic memory. I hope this game evokes a similar feeling now I'm an adult and takes me back

I'm assuming the dates teased about DMC are gonna be:

16th - Dante's Smash Announcement
30th - Dante DLC drops
Feb date - DMC3 drops on eshop. (Don't remember the date as I don't care for the release tbh)

The tease coinciding with the Smash Announcement is too much of a coincidence imo but we will see. I want to be surprised

I assume DLC Amiibo will also be shown now the final base roster characters are out Friday. I recon Joker, Banjo, Terry and Fighter 5 will be a wave and then they will do a set of all 4 Hero Alts for more of that money.

I'm not expecting much news for fighter pass 2 apart from it being up for order on the eshop after Fighter 5 drops with another new Mii fighter skin bonus like before.

Dragon Quest XIS is a superb game and looks just as good as it's PS4 counterpart, in addition to having exclusive and new Switch content makes it my personal best port of the year, it's perfect.

I'd like to see Kingdom Hearts The Story so far ported so I can play them on the go.

There already is a Sonic Build-a-Bear so it's not all that unique, hopefully it's not just a re-release however and is a new pattern

Its the same tracklist as the previous Vinyl releases, I have the multicolour Vinyl set already so this is just if you want it on Clear Vinyl.

It's a great album though so I recommend it to anyone who is a fan and has a decent Vinyl set up

While I did buy the Bowser's Inside Story remake despite owning the original, I did at the time of its announcement find it strange how quickly they also pushed it out after Superstar Saga's remake. I thought SSS getting remade was a good idea since there was no way to play on the 3DS but BIS still had the original version fully playable and accessible for a fraction of the price of the remake...

I love this series and Alphadream in my opinion are great developers so I hope Nintendo tries to help the studio if they can. Having 4 Mario & Luigi titles on 3DS was a lot... It's a shame they didn't potentially have the resource to push out Bowser's Inside Story + on the Switch, even digitally.

Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric HD Remastered Ultimate Edition 😍

Me and my friends still really enjoy this on PS4 despite it still being full of glitches (the add new ones in every patch xD)

It has flaws but I think it also captures the feel of Friday the 13th perfectly. With friends this is a real blast and I'm tempted to get this on Switch so I don't constantly hog the TV playing anymore...

Everything that has been 'GAME Exclusive' has also been on the Nintendo Store UK as part of pre-orders there. I'm like 90% sure this will be added to UK store preorders soon in that case

The Switch is doing amazingly well anyway. Many will say the loss of EA support may hurt the system as their sports games are generally a big market on PS4/Xbone but I don't see them not supporting the Switch as a big issue.

Other 3rd party companies are supporting the switch enough that they're not needed. Bethesda ports must be doing well otherwise they would stop, Octopath Traveller blew all expectations out of the water for Square Enix, Cuphead and Super Lucky Tale breaking Xbox Exclusivity and being allowed ports to the system just shows the confidence in the product. EA are the real mugs releasing terrible versions of their FIFA games expecting players to be satisfied. It's a joke

It's really awkward when video game sites comment on board games as it's a completely different community.

Premium board games are on the rise and are insanely popular. Kickstarter has produced some of the best games on the market in the past. Adding in a cheaper version to back is a good thing, multiple tiers in campaigns give more people a chance to back.

For those who don't tabletop much I can't recommend games like Mansions of Madness enough as they're a perfect blend of tabletop but familiar mechanics of a video game. It's a whole other experience

The Mario Maker 2 section was entertaining I guess but I just don't understand why it was so short compared to the others.

I enjoyed the Splatoon 2 tournament and it was really hype seeing such high level play take place and games literally being stolen within a few seconds.

But the part I looked forward to the most was smash... And the whole thing was awful, invincibility stars still on completely took a stock at one point mixed in with just nasty KOs off items rather than skill. I guess it's preference but seeing someone work their ass off to get percentage up only to be completely ruined by some BS item is just awful to see. Plus the commentators literally would not stop talking about Palutena, like I knew the character was used a lot by the European team but come on.

Its hard to see the event returning next year tbh. I think the format needs a look. Something like Ultimate NES Remix or Wario Ware would be really great to see under these circumstances... Even some dumb Mario Party mini game competition would be funny to see

As someone who purchased Mario Kart 8 on launch on Wii U played it to death including all the DLC and then also double dipped on MK8 Deluxe I've been sorta dying for a new kart racer since I know MK8 inside and out at this point.

The game isn't MK, I don't think it's trying to succeed it either though, it's just a fun Kart racer with a surprisingly decent gimmick. I was really worried about the Team aspect but it's actually the stand out feature that stops this from being overly generic. It's not Transformed but the racing is at least solid.

I would have preferred at least some DLC characters later down the line to keep the game fresh... There's quite a few missing characters from the general Sonic line up which could have easily made a few DLC packs with a team of racers and a new cup or something.

I'm not surprised with Sega though, No DLC can be a great thing but Racing games and Fighting games have a longer lifespan if it's supported

@Philo you put it on over the head first and the holes should be big enough to maneuver the back of the wings in the holes first where the tip of the flight feathers are. You then just move it up the wing. It does take some slight maneuvering of the wing and it's hard to explain in text haha. My bird doesn't like her wings being shifted about but I've tried putting flight harnesses on her.

As cute as these are I think my African Grey would enjoy biting my fingers off just attempting to put this on her. 😂 Had her since a chick and she hates anything going over her head to put on.

I guess GT Goku isn't the worst thing in the world but I seriously don't want a slew of GT content such as SS4 Goku and Vegeta, Baby or Super 17. Omega Shenron and Kid Goku would be enough... Id prefer Uub to be added from the end of Z rather than Majuub too..

But I echo some others here that OG Dragonball always seems to get shafted. Jackie Chun (Roshi in General) Demon King Piccolo, General Tao, etc would be really good fighters with unique movesets as they come from a time before the insane flashy moves of the later arcs.
