Not a big fan of Intergrade, really the whole part 1, but getting part 1 means maybe part 2, which was really good and worth playing, and then maybe even part 3 which we've been told would be the last.
So while it's nice to be be coming it's only part 1 of 3. I'd wait until 2 & 3 are confirmed. Of course if too many people wait then we may not get 2 & 3, so it is a bit of a catch 22.ðĪŠ
Might just be me but if I'm making what I hope to be a big successful movie of the summer blockbuster variety I'd much rather have it come out in May instead of March.
Also possibly related, 3 weeks ago Avengers Secret Wars got moved from May 7, 2027 to Dec 17, 2027.
@larryisaman I think Switch 2 will get it's share of 3rd party ports, but that's what they will be, ports, not day 1. Not for 2 or 3 years yet for the big AAA games. Here's why I think that is.
Switch 2 is basically a Switch Pro in my head, it's nothing new except a camera and mouse. So games like this, that take 3+ years to build, and were never intended for the Switch, so nobody started building them on the Switch, so it's not a simple matter to just move them to the Switch 2, they have to start from scratch. On dev kits they may have only had for a year or less.
PS5 and Xbox Series S/X have been on shelves for 4 years now, so devs have had the kits probably for 5 years. And like Switch to Switch 2 the Sony and MS consoles are also similar so devs who made last gen games on those had a simple ramp up to this gen, so like nearly 10 years of coding on those.
So sure, anything like Sonic Racing on Switch will also be on Switch 2 day 1, but anything this gen that was never considered for Switch is probably going to take awhile.
Switch eventually got games like Witcher 3, and Switch 2 got Cyberpunk so it may get Witcher 4 day 1 b/c of that, but I think the first year of Switch 2 is all about old game ports from last gen, not day 1 from this gen. Devs need time to code games they've been working on for years to unknown hardware. Maybe FF7 PT 3 can be day 1, still a few years out, parts 1 & 2 lead the way.
Remember 3 years ago when Microsoft signed a legally binding contract that Nintendo would get Call of Duty for 10 years so MS could buy Activision? Well we're 3 years into that, and still no sign. So if a legally binding contract isn't getting games to Switch 2 any faster what's the rush on the rest?
Edit: OK only 2 1/2 yrs ago, not 3, Phil said this in Dec 22.
I think Split Fiction was more an exception than the rule. And even that was a few months behind, so they had time to just work on the port. I'm not worried, early days. But I'll get back to you this time next year to see how I'm feeling then. ð
@d-slice It comes w/ either 512GB (2x the Switch 2) or 1TB storage, so I'm assuming it's a standalone device, not the PS5 Portal.
My family watched the 10 minute video on YT last night. We mostly just made fun of the name.
1 thing I haven't seen mentioned anywhere by anyone yet, does it have TV out? I don't see why it wouldn't, USB-C works wonders, but if it doesn't it's not a Switch 2 competitor at all, it's a Switch 2 Lite competitor which will probably cost only 1/3 the price.
The Rog, like so many other non-Switch portables, are already a thing, so no reason for MS not to put this out there, but I'm not really sure how many it will sell. I feel like Xbox owners are the stay at home types, not the hanging out on the rooftops and playgrounds looking cool and drinking brews types, so they may scoff at this.
@AllBLK I'd guess money. Both the cost of putting it in and the loss of selling cameras.
But it could have been an online wifi issue, worrying about maintaining MKW and 4 player Gamechat.
Or they're saving it as a selling point for Switch Lite 2. If there's no TV out like Switch Lite then there really is no way they can expect people to use that big $55 camera w/ Switch Lite 2 so built in is the only way to go.
I agree with you Switch 2 should have a camera built in as much as they are promoting it, even requiring it for achievements in Welcome Tour, just guessing why it doesn't.
@LinktotheFuture "use a left Joy-Con 1 with a right Joy-Con 2"
How does someone use a Joycon 1 w/ a Joycon 2? To do what? What do the two Joycon do together w/o a Switch 2?
The article says they are using a Switch 1 Joycon w/ a Switch 2, which we already knew. The Switch 2 Joycon is irrelevant unless you think it's somehow newsworthy that the Switch 2 Joycon work w/ the Switch 2? ðĪ·ââïļ
You buried this way down at the end when it should have been in the title. ð
"Eh...no. No, you cannot. Silly us."
Haven't we known literally for months now that Switch Joycon would work on the Switch 2? This article really only needed to exist if Switch 2 Joycon also worked on Switch, ðĪ·ââïļ
Wouldn't have this problem if they launched a Switch 2 Home w/o a battery, screen or JoyMice. Could probably sell it for $299 and make extra sales from people who still want multi-player.
Would likely even sell more cameras to people who know it can always be used and connected. That big $55 camera for a handheld really makes no sense to me. If they want people to use Switch 2 as a handheld it should just be a small dingle that plugs into the top. The inevitable Switch 2 Lite really should have a camera built in.
I still wouldn't use a camera or a Lite but I would buy a Home Switch and give the original to 1 of my kids.
A PS5 comparison would be nice. I stopped playing it on Switch once the 5.1 update on PS5 went live. The PS5 version was already better than Switch before the update but they really stepped the graphics up a notch after that. I'm not even sure what Switch was running, 4.0 maybe, so I guess it's at least getting 5.0 now if not 5.1. A real next gen upgrade w/o a $10 upgrade charge.
I'll never use mouse mode though. If I wanted to do that I'd play on PC. I just play for fun though. Or sure winning is great, but I'm just killing time, not players.ð
Haven't played it yet but glad to read this. When I read the headline this was the first thing that came to mind. Was already waiting to play it on Switch 2 but nice to see they added it to the Switch version as well and not make it next gen exclusive.
Wow, that list of Day 1 games kinda makes me glad Target canceled my preorder, pretty lame. And no Welcome Tour or Drive X Drive on the list, are they not day 1?
My wife's company said they'd give her one, but it may not be until next year when they can find one. Hopefully sooner than that, but I don't think I even need to worry about it until Donkey Kong.
I'm siding with the - that is a lot of things for Nintendo to update day 1 - crowd. Seems like it's basically all multiunit multiplyer. So that $80 game cart is offline only until you update?
Hopefully it will be integrated for the million people who will be getting the bundle tomorrow. Can you imagine you spend $500, have to wait while you probably wirelessly download 19GB to play your included game, then you press play and it says, please download the update. ð
Sounds good. Right now however I'm sitting here on my couch looking at my Farmagia box so that's first. I know they aren't the same but close enough for me probably. I'm not a big farming Sim guy, just like slow stuff occasionally to calm myself and relax.
Someone should have asked the question: w/ Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundled orders being so robust, and Nintendo opting to include only a code in a $500 game bundle, what has Nintendo done to insure people will be able to quickly download their game and start playing? Have they purchased faster servers, upgraded their internet connection speeds and bandwidth, added more server rooms in more locations around the globe?
I'd like to be pleasantly surprised and have a great launch day for Nintendo Switch 2 and MKW but I worry Nintendo isn't ready for this much online this fast. ðĪ
Hopefully after all this preorder garbage gets sorted out we don't have any launch day issues, like 10 million people trying to download their $500 digital copy of Mario Kart World only for Nintendo to forget to turn the servers on, or forget to put the codes in the box, or they put the same code in every box so only 1 person gets it, or...
My brain lives in the worst timeline, but what launch day ever goes off without a hitch? At least I'm pretty sure Nintendo won't RRoD a tablet. ðĪŠ
Should have gone with "Game Over, Man. Game Over."
I do hope they become marginally in stock over the summer before the inevitable holiday rush kicks in so we can get ours. It's free so what are you gonna do, but a wait without a timeline is going to always be on my mind.
I feel like the only reason to make this $10 would be to add it to NO+EP. But as far as I know it isn't so...
If it mentions the camera then yeah pack it in with the camera. For $50 the camera should already come with 6 months of NO. I read Gamechat was free until March 2026 but I'm not sure if that's all online gaming. If it is Nintendo should talk about it more. Nice bonus for the early adopters. Not so nice if you get a Switch 2 after next March.
GameChat is included with any Nintendo Switch Online membership
Limited-time offer: Until March 31, 2026, GameChat can be used without a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Afterwards, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be required to use GameChat.

@SearchingS Thought that might be it. I don't like 1st person but I played Cyberpunk anyway. Really wish it was 3rd, hard for me to drive, shoot, walk, do just about anything. TW3 was good though. Maybe some day all big AAA games will give us that option. I know I've skipped a bunch of 1st person games b/c of it.
@anubisvel Yeah it's an either or choice, and in the future it may make sense, but right now, as I wait for my Switch 2, I can't even be bothered using either, so I'm certainly not going to the trouble of downloading both. I don't need 2 more apps where 1 would suffice. Actually I already have 2, NSO and Family, that I'm not using. I suppose I was already annoyed at those 2 having to be separate apps, didn't need a 3rd, but it's been so long since I used them I forgot.ð
Just checked my phone in case, or b/c, I'm losing my mind. Found Nintendo Switch and Switch Parental apps. That Parental app being under Switch rather than Nintendo, my Samsung phone sorts my way too many apps alphabetically, was annoying enough as it is.ð Also Mario Run,PokÃĐmon Go and Pikmin Bloom, which should all be separate b/c games.
If I had this new app, I'm guessing called Nintendo Today, right next to Nintendo Switch, well why do I need to open and close multiple apps just for that? ðĪ·ââïļ
@Yydeckard "Well, all first party Nintendo games will be on the cartridge so really those games wonât count for very much except for any updates."
Except a lot of people will be buying the MKW bundle at launch, and most of those will be digital copies, so shrinking MKW, as this article is about, does help a lot of people.
Here's a list of the countries getting a physical copy of MKW in the bundle.
@SearchingS "hopefully can get a new game + and 3rd person Mode"
TW3 is a 3rd person view game. There's a mode for 1st person on PC but that's the only place I know about that isn't 3rd person. So maybe you typed that wrong or you're thinking of Cyberpunk, which is 1st person?
@anubisvel The apps for my local grocery stores let me look at flyers, select digital coupons, exchange my points for store credit, make a list for shopping in store, order items to be delivered to my house, all in just 1 app.
So yes I think it's very possible for Nintendo to put it's limited online functionality and daily news update into 1 app.
The music app is different, it's a music app. And Alarmo is it's own device. But with how little the today and online apps actually do they should just be one app.
@Untempered-Link "Quite why anyone at NL thought it would be okay to have an open comment section on this topic I don't know."
My best guess? They didn't know. I follow this stuff and i didn't know. I read the name, saw the pic, read a few comments, didn't know. Eventually I finally figured it out. For all the wrong reasons.
Though Liam is pretty good so he probably knew. Maybe this was a test case, or a honeypot? ð
@euler They deleted your comment? I think this crowd broke Nintendo Life. For what it's worth I thought it was fine, which I guess is why it wasn't? (Don't want you to think I narc'd on you, really it looked fine to me. If I had narc'd on you, I've done it before, I wouldn't tell you.) Still dont' know how or why my comments keep staying around but no one else? Maybe they're using AI to target certain words and auto-delete the posts?
I'm reposting your comment, w/ a few minor edits, to test out my AI theory. Feel free to ask me to take it down if you like, I don't want anyone getting in trouble on my account.
Yeah, some big companies saw the writing on the wall and targeted the majority of customers. Nintendo would be wise to do the same. And when youâve lost Gavin Newsom (the guy who directed the clerk of San Fran to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples).âĶ
@dartmonkey Good reply. ð (Though on 2nd thought if I think it's a good reply, then maybe not? ðĪ·ââïļ)
Anyway, about what you said.
"that "perhaps" we're just cool with it. Is that the impression we've given over all these years?"
Well you wouldn't be the first people who bailed on the trans community. I have no idea what's going on in Spain. None. But the US is currently a cesspool.
Disney and Pixar we're like, Yeah on second thought, no.
Then cool blue California governor with aspirations of a Presidency was like, I'll pave my way driving the bus over the trans community. And he's since backed it up over them a few times for good measure.
So while I don't see you guys as bigots, though let's face it it's always been a bit of a sausage fest in games media, I could see if you guys decided you needed to be a little more tolerant of the intolerant, if only for financial reasons. Kind of like how we can pay you guys now.
Remember when Nintendo said - We'll never be on mobile - and then they were. And then Nintendo said - We don't do dlc, we ship complete games - and then Smash opened the dlc floodgates. Times change.
Nice job cleaning it all up this morning. Good luck with that if Hunter gets the job. Gonna be lit.
People on the internet being wrong and calling 1440 2k aside, the Series S does have games at 1440, and upscale a couple of games even to 4k, which does put it around the same place as Switch 2, making Switch 2 equivalent to a home console in my head. Even if it's a 4 year old weak home console, but it's still thus gen for a couple of more years at least.
Target had my preorder until they cancelled it. Their loss. My wife's company is giving her 1 for 10 years of service. May be awhile, but no rush. Free is free.
The comparison Pic zoomed in on the axe guy makes it look like the difference between a handheld and home console. Which is good.
The $300 Switch was a great little portable console w/ TV out but the $450 Switch 2 does seem more like the idea of a home console you can play on the go. Which does explain the higher price. I think even Series S is about $400 now after the latest round of MS price hikes, and I think that has a max resolution of 1080p. So Switch 2 has that beat.
Which gets to why I think at $450 Nintendo could make a cheaper home console version w/o a battery, screen or Mouse Con and compete at the low end. For those of us like myself who never undock their consoles. They already have a cheaper region locked Switch 2 in Japan so it shows they're willing to sell for less. They'll give us a cheaper Switch 2 Lite for people who don't own a TV, seems only fair people who don't leave their TV get to save some money as well.
Switch 2 may still be a tablet, but it's a tablet powered for home gaming. (Based on resolution output for all the gamers who own 4k tvs.)
Interesting. I haven't seen Euphoria but I have watched all of The Hunger Games movies (well at least I think I have, hard to keep up) and I didn't recognize the picture. Looks the part though.
That's not the interesting part, that's boring. What I found interesting is I've already spent part of the day discussing over on @Pushsquare if they'd write Lev out of season 3 of TLOU, or at least change the relevant back story, b/c reasons. So if Hunter has a shot so does Lev I guess. I do think Ian Alexander is too old though, they'll probably want someone much younger than Dever.
@nessisonett So I looked up fash b/c I'm old, out of the loop, and American and the Brits have all the best slang. (And I don't think I was pronouncing it correctly in my head.) Does it have some context appropriate meaning besides more than fascist I should be aware of for future reference? I know TERF is kind of specific and transphobic is too long to type, well except for the person above me, so I'm wondering if this is new? There's like a new thing every day now. ETTD, TACO, all these govt abbreviations. Hard to keep up.
As for the make up of the site, how do you forget, it's a gaming site, assume Incel first, ask questions later. I've been annoying people here for 14 years, (no wait 17yrs, forgot the Covid time shift) and Kate was like the only outside the mold person here in all that time. Wait almost forgot Alana Hughes (sp?) but they never stood out to me the way Kate did.
tldr Expect the daily storm, enjoy the occasional rainbow. ð
PS - When I wake up in the morning I'm expecting these last few posts to be deleted and all the rest to remain. ðĐ
@SuperJoon If you think that loss is anything to stop a company from going let me tell you a story about a little company called TMTG w/ $186 million in losses last year but somehow worth $5 billion. ðĪ
@joeyflannel Last night from Target? Did you place it when preorders opened? Did they charge you for it?
I'm pretty sure Target is a charge when shipped business but I've never pre-ordered from them before. I got my preorder in with Target right after midnight, which was great. Then the cancelation email right after, which sucked. Then another email 20 minutes later telling me my order had gone through, which was great. Until I realized they meant my original cancelled order, which sucked. But then my wife's company told her they'd buy her one for her 10 year employment anniversary, which was great. Then they told her today she might not get it until next year when they got around to buying one, which sucked.
It's been a bit of a roller coaster over here.ð
Is there a real reason we need both a Nintendo Online app and a Nintendo Today app? Surely the limited functionality of one could be combined and merged into the limited functionality of the other. ðĪ·ââïļ

So many game key carts has me legit wondering if Nintendo would make an all digital Switch 2 Lite, similar to the PSP Go? That cart slot is really small so there really is no legit reason for them to take it out, no matter how small the system is, so they shouldn't, but they might anyway just to test the waters for Switch 3.
I don't think they will, but it's enough that I'm thinking about it. Personally I wouldn't buy an all digital Switch 2 Home console, all of my games are at home, but for a much smaller Switch 2 Lite maybe people want it all digital for convenience?
Come to think of it maybe that's a reason they made "virtual game card"? Have a big main console at home, digital for on the go. Hmmm, the plot thickens.
Full disclosure I'm not that well versed in VGC yet, not even sure that's what it's called, but it seems relevant.
Edit: I meant virtual game card, not game share which is more multi-player. Doesn't look like it currently supports physical carts but since physical carts are just keys for digital games anyway I suppose it could be possible on a future Switch 2 Go if Nintendo decided to go that route.
I can just picture all the old guys w/ duck dynasty beards in their MAGA 2028 T-shirts standing around the church parking lot selling their Switch 2 to the woke hipsters.ð
Sounds like Nintendo is doing the right thing. I'm all for being able to sell anything you own at any price, but you should have to own it before you can sell it. So not letting anyone sell something they don't yet have in hand, even if they already paid for it, makes sense. Let the scalpers sweat it out, not knowing what they'll get after making their not insignificant investment. Sounds like scalpers in the EU won't be making much, may not even be worth the effort.
The more we know how hard a Switch 2 is to come by in the US the worse the scalping will be. Wii was bad for a couple of years, PS5 for a year. Not actually sure about Switch, I was always waiting for the Mario bundle which was announced near launch.
I'm still torn on Switch 2. Or maybe I'm just lazy, depressed, poor and torn on getting out of bed in the morning. So much effort when it's 50' and raining every day..ðĐ
Nintendo be like: please don't share the commercials and ads for our games, we're afraid people might buy the games after watching them and we're allergic to money. Now please buy this $30 toys to life amiibo that has no in game functionality and should be no more than $15 but greed.ðĪ
Nintendo: has a Direct in June around the same time as all the major game shows in June the past 12 years straight.
Social media influencer: I have a source who snuck into Nintendo HQ in the dead of night to hack into the CEOs laptop in order to find out that there's a possibility Nintendo will be having a Direct in June this year.
@cvrator Having played Elden Ring on PS5 for like 150 hours I'm not sure GRR Martin's writing would really have anything to do with a Del Toro movie other than a few tidbits here and there. There's only so much you can do in a 3 hour movie. It would be creepy as all get out and would cause a lot of people to lose a lot of sleep.
I think it has a lot of potential, but I'm a sword & sandals guy who likes cheesy 80s movies so I'm not really a good judge of quality.ð
@cvrator OK yeah Pan's Labyrinth was dark and scary but I don't recall a lot of blood splatter, severed limbs and the like. So maybe adult wasn't the correct word but it seemed sufficient. If I said it would be a bloody Pan's Labyrinth people might have just thought I was a British bloke.ð
I wouldn't say Elden Ring would be a dark Pan's Labyrinth b/c that would be redundant.ð
Not taking a quiz, my memory is toast. I remember it felt like more of the same. Which is a good thing, but if it was released in the last 5 years it would have been dlc.
SMG is my favorite 3D Mario game, there is no 2nd, not even this, this is part 2. Which is why I haven't played part 1 on Switch yet. Why play part 1 if I can't play part 2? Nintendo Logic.ðĪŠ
@roboshort I had to look up that director. Have never watched any of their stuff but those 5 Ruroni Kenshin movies have been in my wishlists for awhile. I always thought they were 2 sets of distinct movies that tell the same tale, like Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood, but if it's 5 parts of 1 story, well then I may never watch them.ð
Elden Ring did have a bit of a Japanese anime vibe even without being Japanese or anime so I think that director could pull it off. But I guess we'll never know.
I still think this could be a fun, turn off your brain, freaky looking action flick, if only truly enjoyed by the midnight show stones. They need something to watch besides Akira. ð
Civil War was... not as advertised. Should have been called "My Boring Life as a Photo Journalist". Zzzzz
Movie plot synopsis:
Man wakes up alone in a cave.
Man walks a bit, finds a man w/ a sword.
Sword man says "I am your tutorial."
Sword man 1 hit kills recently awakened and very confused man.
Game Over.
The End.
Credits roll.
Or, for the sake of the movie, man survives tutorial, takes the magic sword, and kills everything along the way to the Erdtree, burns it to the ground, make up random story lore involving hands and maidens along the way.
I think Guielrmo Del Toro could do it justice, like an adult "Pan's Labrynth", with an emphasis on the weird creatures, less on the story.
Though not even he can save that flying whale creature final boss. That will 100% not be in the movie.ð
@AxleMagnum Looked up MSE and couldn't find it but I suppose it doesn't matter b/c I'm not paying $85 for a 10 year old game I already own anyway. The 48 course pack might be worth $25 to me, and if Nintendo would make it work w/ my Wii U version I might even buy it. But I'm not buying the same game again for $60 to then pay another $25.ðĪ

$50? Yeah, no. Split Fiction is $50. I do not think this game compares favorably to that.
I'm not against the game, just the price. My wife and I had fun recently playing Cat Quest 3 which I got for $20, which seems closer to this game.
Can't fault them for charging $50 for a Switch 2 launch game, people will need a break from MKW occasionally, but I'm not paying it.

@AllBLK I'd guess money. Both the cost of putting it in and the loss of selling cameras.

@LinktotheFuture "use a left Joy-Con 1 with a right Joy-Con 2"
How does someone use a Joycon 1 w/ a Joycon 2? To do what? What do the two Joycon do together w/o a Switch 2?
The article says they are using a Switch 1 Joycon w/ a Switch 2, which we already knew. The Switch 2 Joycon is irrelevant unless you think it's somehow newsworthy that the Switch 2 Joycon work w/ the Switch 2? ðĪ·ââïļ
Re: Random: You Can Mix & Match Switch 1 + 2 Joy-Con As Pairs
You buried this way down at the end when it should have been in the title. ð
"Eh...no. No, you cannot. Silly us."
Haven't we known literally for months now that Switch Joycon would work on the Switch 2? This article really only needed to exist if Switch 2 Joycon also worked on Switch, ðĪ·ââïļ
Re: Poll: Switch 2 Battery Reportedly Lasting Under Two Hours With Mario Kart - How Is Yours Holding Up?
Re: 60FPS, Higher Resolution, Mouse Controls - Fortnite On Switch 2 Sounds Like A Big Step Up
A PS5 comparison would be nice.
Re: New Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Update Is Finally Fixing Its Most Frustrating Feature
Haven't played it yet but glad to read this. When I read the headline this was the first thing that came to mind. Was already waiting to play it on Switch 2 but nice to see they added it to the Switch version as well and not make it next gen exclusive.
Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?
@Jack_Goetz Hey thanks for the info, and the title correction. I guess they didn't want Drag X Drive to take away sales from Welcome Tour. ð
Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?
Wow, that list of Day 1 games kinda makes me glad Target canceled my preorder, pretty lame. And no Welcome Tour or Drive X Drive on the list, are they not day 1?
My wife's company said they'd give her one, but it may not be until next year when they can find one. Hopefully sooner than that, but I don't think I even need to worry about it until Donkey Kong.
Re: Mario Kart World Update Is Out Now, Here Are The Patch Notes
I'm siding with the - that is a lot of things for Nintendo to update day 1 - crowd. Seems like it's basically all multiunit multiplyer. So that $80 game cart is offline only until you update?
Hopefully it will be integrated for the million people who will be getting the bundle tomorrow. Can you imagine you spend $500, have to wait while you probably wirelessly download 19GB to play your included game, then you press play and it says, please download the update. ð

Re: Mario Kart World Producer Answers The Biggest Question Of All: Does Cow Eat Hamburgers?
Someone should have asked the question: w/ Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundled orders being so robust, and Nintendo opting to include only a code in a $500 game bundle, what has Nintendo done to insure people will be able to quickly download their game and start playing? Have they purchased faster servers, upgraded their internet connection speeds and bandwidth, added more server rooms in more locations around the globe?
I'd like to be pleasantly surprised and have a great launch day for Nintendo Switch 2 and MKW but I worry Nintendo isn't ready for this much online this fast. ðĪ

Re: US Retailers Are Playing With Fire With More Switch 2 Cancellations
Hopefully after all this preorder garbage gets sorted out we don't have any launch day issues, like 10 million people trying to download their $500 digital copy of Mario Kart World only for Nintendo to forget to turn the servers on, or forget to put the codes in the box, or they put the same code in every box so only 1 person gets it, or...
My brain lives in the worst timeline, but what launch day ever goes off without a hitch? At least I'm pretty sure Nintendo won't RRoD a tablet. ðĪŠ

I do hope they become marginally in stock over the summer before the inevitable holiday rush kicks in so we can get ours. It's free so what are you gonna do, but a wait without a timeline is going to always be on my mind.
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Trailer Highlights New Minigames & Tech Demos

Re: Witcher 3 Celebrates 10 Years, Announces Mod Support For Consoles
@SearchingS Thought that might be it. I don't like 1st person but I played Cyberpunk anyway. Really wish it was 3rd, hard for me to drive, shoot, walk, do just about anything. TW3 was good though. Maybe some day all big AAA games will give us that option. I know I've skipped a bunch of 1st person games b/c of it.
Re: Nintendo Today! Update Lets You Link Your Own Schedule With Nintendo's
If I had this new app, I'm guessing called Nintendo Today, right next to Nintendo Switch, well why do I need to open and close multiple apps just for that? ðĪ·ââïļ
I hear ya, guess I like simplicity over clutter.
Re: Nintendo Appears To Have Updated Mario Kart World's Switch 2 File Size
@Yydeckard "Well, all first party Nintendo games will be on the cartridge so really those games wonât count for very much except for any updates."
Except a lot of people will be buying the MKW bundle at launch, and most of those will be digital copies, so shrinking MKW, as this article is about, does help a lot of people.
Here's a list of the countries getting a physical copy of MKW in the bundle.
https://nintendosoup.com/nintendo-switch-2-mario-kart-world-set-comes-with-a-physical-copy-in-some-regions/
Re: Witcher 3 Celebrates 10 Years, Announces Mod Support For Consoles
@SearchingS "hopefully can get a new game + and 3rd person Mode"
TW3 is a 3rd person view game. There's a mode for 1st person on PC but that's the only place I know about that isn't 3rd person. So maybe you typed that wrong or you're thinking of Cyberpunk, which is 1st person?
Re: Nintendo Today! Update Lets You Link Your Own Schedule With Nintendo's

Re: New Videos Show How Fantasy Life i Has Been Beefed Up On Switch 2
@Ramouz 2k vs 1080p, in case you weren't joking. ð
2k = 2048x1080
1080p = 1920x1080
That's basically the same thing.ðĪ·ââïļ
The Series S does have games that run at 1440, which some people call 2K, but it's not, b/c 1080p is 2k.
1920x1080 2K, 16:9
2560x1440 1440, 16:9
2880x1620 3K, 16,9
3440x1440 21:9 ultrawide
3840x2160. 4K, 16:9
Re: Another US Retailer Will Be Stocking Additional Switch 2 Units Next Week
Target had my preorder until they cancelled it. Their loss. My wife's company is giving her 1 for 10 years of service. May be awhile, but no rush. Free is free.
Re: New Videos Show How Fantasy Life i Has Been Beefed Up On Switch 2
Re: Rumour: Zelda Live-Action Movie Eyes "Popular" Princess Pick

Re: Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake Launches October, Switch 2 Version Confirmed

"three flea market site operators"

Re: A24 Bringing Elden Ring To The Big Screen With Ex Machina Director
@cvrator Having played Elden Ring on PS5 for like 150 hours I'm not sure GRR Martin's writing would really have anything to do with a Del Toro movie other than a few tidbits here and there. There's only so much you can do in a 3 hour movie. It would be creepy as all get out and would cause a lot of people to lose a lot of sleep.
I think it has a lot of potential, but I'm a sword & sandals guy who likes cheesy 80s movies so I'm not really a good judge of quality.ð
Re: A24 Bringing Elden Ring To The Big Screen With Ex Machina Director
@cvrator OK yeah Pan's Labyrinth was dark and scary but I don't recall a lot of blood splatter, severed limbs and the like. So maybe adult wasn't the correct word but it seemed sufficient. If I said it would be a bloody Pan's Labyrinth people might have just thought I was a British bloke.ð
I wouldn't say Elden Ring would be a dark Pan's Labyrinth b/c that would be redundant.ð
Re: How Well Do You Remember Super Mario Galaxy 2?
Not taking a quiz, my memory is toast. I remember it felt like more of the same. Which is a good thing, but if it was released in the last 5 years it would have been dlc.
SMG is my favorite 3D Mario game, there is no 2nd, not even this, this is part 2. Which is why I haven't played part 1 on Switch yet. Why play part 1 if I can't play part 2? Nintendo Logic.ðĪŠ
Re: A24 Bringing Elden Ring To The Big Screen With Ex Machina Director
They need something to watch besides Akira. ð
Re: A24 Bringing Elden Ring To The Big Screen With Ex-Machina Director
