@sixrings If resolution is all that matters to you, that's fine. I just think FPS games on dual analog controllers without gyro aiming are boring. A control system that requires a crutch like auto aim takes the fun out it. I am obviously not the only person who thinks this way so for me, I will get FPSs on PC or Switch.
@SuperTidyGames Thank you. That's exactly my point. Animal Crossing is perfect for someone like you who would rather do chores instead of reading something fun. And yes, you are weird.
@TossedLlama There was a patch to address some issues that came out recently and I think performance was one of them, but I did not find performance to be a real issue when it came out because it was turn based. No, it wasn't as smooth as Mario + Rabbids, but turn based games can get away with it and I found the story engrossing enough to overlook a few somewhat minor flaws except one...There was a glitch in my game that made it impossible to equip radiation suits and I did not realize it was a glitch until it was too late to go back to a previous save spot. Still, it was patched so I will be starting over again when I feel like getting hyper-focussed in to character creation once again....
I personally think Wasteland 2 is worth it, though it's not for everyone.
Wasteland 2 is a decent strategy RPG that is sort of like this. It's basically XCOM merged with Fallout. Character creation is kind of involved though.
@Gerbwmu Honestly, if I had to choose one game out of those three that I could never own, it would be Mario Kart 8 by a huge margin. I loved Mario Kart Wii (the first kart game I've ever played), but I got bored quickly with Mario Kart 8.
I guess that makes me a common American. To be fair, I do have something like 13 physical games and 160 or so gigs worth of digital games so the chances of me having them were prety good.
BTW, every Switch owner should have those games plus Smash.

Re: Crytek Reveals Docked And Handheld Resolutions For Crysis Remastered On Switch
Gyro aiming makes the Switch the best platform for this game outside of the PC.
Re: Metacritic Implements 36-Hour Delay On User Reviews, To Ensure "Gamers Have Time To Play"
They could try the socialism route so games with low scores can take points from games with high scores and every game is even.
Re: Respawn Says Apex Legends Looks "Really Good" And Runs "Very Well" On Switch
@Ventilator EA sucks. Nothing about them deserves success.
Re: Square Enix Officially Confirms Kingdom Hearts: Melody Of Memory For The West
How many episodes will they be splitting this one up?
Re: Respawn Says Apex Legends Looks "Really Good" And Runs "Very Well" On Switch
@DeclanS98 LOL. Free. No game is free. Don't be a sucker.
Re: Respawn Says Apex Legends Looks "Really Good" And Runs "Very Well" On Switch
EA is a horrible company. Don't buy their games.

This is racist.
Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons Datamine Reveals Spawn Rates Of Special Characters

Re: Bloober Team Is Bringing Blair Witch To Switch This Summer
The movies were terrible. Sounds like the game is too.
Re: Super Mario And Levi's Join Forces For A Mushroom Kingdom Clothing Collaboration
There was a time when Levi's made outstanding jeans. Those days are long over. Levi jeans are now overpriced trash that don't last long at all.
Re: Zelda Fan Makes Full Arsenal Of Real-Life Breath Of The Wild Weapons
And I bet they break just as easily in real life as they do in the game.
Re: Review: Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger - A Classy Wild West Shooter Which Deserves A Second Shot At Fame
I'd go for it if they would fix the motion aiming. I always invert the Y access and that should never affect motion.
Re: Review: Bulletstorm: Duke Of Switch Edition - Puerile, Crass And Bloody Good Fun
The lack of gyro aiming means it's much less than great.
Re: Into The Dead 2 Brings A New Wave Of Zombie Survival To Switch
Does it have gyro...You'd think this would be answered in every new game announcement for the Switch by now...

Fire Emblem, Pillars of Eternity, and Wolfenstein.
Re: Review: Doom 3 - A Dark, Unnerving Oddity In The Slayer Series That Still Impresses
Is there motion aiming? Nothing else really matters without it for a game like this.
Re: Jim Carrey Responds To Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Backlash, Delay And Redesign
Jim Carrey is a has-been. Who cares what he thinks?
Re: Journey To The Outer Worlds When Obsidian's Space RPG Lands On Switch
If this game has gyro aiming, I'm in.
Re: Dr. Mario World Surpassed Five Million Downloads In Its First Seven Days
I downloaded it then deleted it when I realized it was just an orgasm of micro transactions.
Re: Dr. Mario World Racks Up Two Million Downloads In Its First 72 Hours
I downloaded it day one. I deleted it day one too. This game is a microtransaction orgasm.

This game is terrible.
Re: Review: American Fugitive - A Decent Homage To Grand Theft Auto That's A Little Underdone
@USWITCH64 It is on sale. At least in the US it is.
I bought it. Haven't played it yet but it looks like fun even with the issues. Glad to see they will be addressed though.
Re: The First Patch For Saints Row: The Third On Switch Rolls Out Later This Week
No gyro aiming = not interested.
Re: Review: Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package - The Next Best Thing To Grand Theft Auto On Switch?
The lack of gyro kills it for me.
Re: Starlink: Battle For Atlas' Huge Crimson Moon Update Is Now Live
Nice. Time to get back in to this game.

Nice. Day one purchase for me.
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th March (North America)
Hard West, Assault Android+, and maybe Valley. Great week for indies.
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th March (Europe)
I got Hard West and I just saw Assault Cactus+ has an FPS mode that looks badass so I picked it up after I voted. Too bad I can't change my vote.
Re: Fancy A New RTS With Dinosaurs Thrown Into The Mix? Warparty Hits Switch This Month
Nice. And agreed, controls.
Re: Pato Box Is Getting A Limited Edition Physical Release Soon
I was disappointed in this game. The motion controls were terrible.
Re: Deals: Treat Your Nintendo Switch To A 400GB Micro SD Card For Only $62
Thanks. It's only $10 or $15 cheaper but I'll take it. My 200 gb card is out of space.

Re: Nintendo Network Maintenance Sessions Could Impact Online Gaming Over The Next Two Days
So the plan was to release the game with the biggest online presence in the system then take the network down so your customers can't play it. Nice.
Re: Nintendo Network Maintenance Sessions Could Impact Online Gaming Over The Next Two Days
@Bunkerneath Do the 3Ds and Wii U use the same online services?
