Economies can not come back full circle if bad government policy is in place. That is trying to be undone. Most people on this site support bad policy.

@EVIL-C I was speaking in regards to electronics. Tariffs are added on certain industries like cars, steel, energy, etc. Just because the whole industry does this doesn't mean it's not a rip off anymore. These tariffs are matching tariffs, which means, Canada has been taking advantage of USA and that is going to end. But you obviously don't care about fairness in trade. You always want the upper hand.

@EVIL-C Nintendo charging $60 for a game that only has 10-20 hours of content is far more damaging than tariffs. That is a waste of money. The standard should be $1 per hour, for the most part.

It may be the biggest console launch but it doesn't mean it will be successful.

@saturn3 I honestly do not understand why sparks is rated so high. They took out all the elements that made KB so amazing. It is one of the most disappointing games I have ever played.

@-wc- the only time I would buy a remaster/remake is if the original game sells for more than $150 or if the new version has serious quality of life updates, i e. Final Fantasy 1.

But if it is going to be poorly made then I would gladly spend $150 for the original. I could spend more but it really depends on the game. Still got all of my consoles as well. Why get rid of them?

At the same time, I have always felt that LM was just a one time game. The original is still the best, too me, not much can be expanded upon the series.

I am guessing it is something uneventful and forgettable.

At this point switch 2 feels more like DLC instead of a new console.

I am probably the only person that would gladly see the Miis go away. I never liked Miis. I guess I am old when I think of the old Nintendo as NES/SNES lol.

BotW and TotK should be combined as one game though in lists like these. That would make the most sense.

To me, TotK made BotW unplayable. The same goes with THPS 2. THPS 2 is superior in every way to 1.

@KillerTan98 I would only agree with that statement in regards to the arwing combat. It was absolutely amazing! I was disappointed with the on foot missions due to the bad controls.

Also, Army Men is a horribly underrated game!

@Thomystic Correct me if I am wrong but isn't capital gains also based off of income? I think less than 80k a year is 15% capital gains and more than 100k a year is much higher?

@Anachronism @eaglebob345 I would avoid Nintendo stock at all costs. They don't give hardly any dividends and that is how most people make their money in the stock market. If you are going to invest into a company that doesn't give dividends you need to buy the stocks dirt cheap, i.e. NTDOY just after the Wii U era.

Then, in the USA, there is capital gains tax. After the sale your profits could be taxed anywhere from 30-50%. Not worth it.

The best way to make money is to pay off debt fast, stay out of debt, and live far below your means. This is more important than the stock market.

@Lizuka I see. You were talking more about character likability than the 3H structure of the game. That is a legit argument. I hate unnecessary dialogue with characters I don't care for. I hope I can manage to play engage.

This might sound weird to people but so far I enjoyed the combat of GBA far more than 3H. I always hear people telling me that engage is more combat oriented than story. I guess that is why I am a little optimistic about Engage. But I will have to see.

@Lizuka I haven't played engage yet, it's next on my list. I have only played the GBA and three houses so far and I love them both. But if every game was like three houses than FE would get old pretty quick.

I played it for a while. It's ok. Since Melee smash has just been meh for me.

For me this is a lack luster year but it's the end of the switch's life. I don't feel any first party Nintendo game really deserves GOTY, especially when you compare it to the other titles. Maybe I a forgetting a game, idk. And I haven't played enough of the third party games either.

Personally I don't think remakes/remasters should be considered.

@-wc- It is refreshing to hear someone else claim that the OG items were the best! I still believe that MK SNES is still the best MK. The red shell didn't even work all the time. You had to be a competent racer and try to get as close as possible to the next racer before you can fire that shell.

This is why I quit playing MK8D online. Too many items, OP items, and racers. I put about 200 hours into this game and just under 10k multiplayer points on 150cc, so I am pretty decent.

This is an item management game not a racing game. When the game favors the losers (6th-12th place) then why try to be 1st? I hate this gaming philosophy.

From what I have heard Three houses has a better story and Engage has better combat. I plan on playing TH in the next month. Haven't played engage yet.

You know when the turtle franchise is hot trash when the original NES game is number 15 on the list haha

Sheet music is copyrighted material. That is why you need permission from the original publisher in order to sell it. You can't even give it away for free. However you can keep a copy that you transposed yourself. That is not illegal.

My mother was a middle school band director and if she wanted a specific piece of music she had to purchase it from JW Pepper (eBay of sheet music) and JW pepper would splint the profits with the publishers. Sheet music is a serious business.

Legally there is nothing to argue against Nintendo.

It's stunning to see how well MK8D and the other NS games are selling! I am also shocked by the amount of switch lite sales!

I haven't been following sales percentages. But maybe Nintendo will release the switch 2 2026? I can understand delaying a new console when the current one is still selling.
