The reason the creator hates Pyramid Head now is because the character is a horse well beaten past expiration. The creator made the character specifically for Silent Hill 2. The depth of his design, story purpose and intrigue, all of it was meant to only fit 2s narrative. But Konamis continuous use of the character cheapened him. He's become a mascot, not a being of sinful consequences and personal suffering.
@chipia too be fair making games takes years. Even big studios can't help that. Just look at Breath of the Wild 2, taking now 4 years to develop. With BOTW1 taking about 6 years. Ports and remasters don't take nearly as long to make, and are perfect to bridge the gaps between title releases.
This isn't too surprising. Pokemons sold crazy numbers split between 2 versions of a game. Now that there's only 1 version, it makes sense for it to receive these quick of sales.
I like that Nintendo buys company's they actually plan to utilize. Like the Luigis Mansion 3 studio. Cause Sony and Microsoft rarely ever properly utilize studios they purchase. Rare being a primary example. They produced very few titles under Microsoft belt, before being shoved off onto developing only for the Kinect. And then only recently were they brought back for 1 new ongoing IP, with next to nothing being produced since.
@BAN remember how church's claimed pokemon was the result of demons and how it was brainwashing the youth? Then in 2016 there were church's everywhere asking pokemon Go players to stop on by to catch some Pokemon. Good times
@ModdedInkling there are easy ways they could have avoided this mess 1. Giving the devs more time. They were working on 3 games simultaneously, they needed so much more time to work on every aspect of the games. 2. Remaster 1 game at a time. This also would have helped. Remastering 1 game at at time would have relieved so much pressure from the devs, and it'd make their initial deadline so much more feasible. 3. Just outsource it elsewhere. The dev team for the trilogy was a trusted GTA developer. Who had experience porting the 3 games to mobile platforms for the past decade. It makes since why they were chosen. But Rockstar just didn't realize just how big of a weight this project was, and the exact obstacles in the dev teams way. They really should have outsourced it to a bigger and more experienced studio.
To add on that there was so much work that needed to be done to this game, so in order to levitate some of the pressure they actually had an AI remaster all the textures. The games style, and everything it's applied to, was done by an AI. Which is why we've got such monstrositys
@ModdedInkling actually I looked into this games development. And the issue stims from Rockstar getting the GTA mobile port development team to make these games. So not only was the team, who only ever made mobile ports, tasked with making not 1 but 3 remaster at once. Not only did they have to make them for multiple systems. But on top of it all they had such an absurd deadline to finish all 3 games in. It's legitimately a miracle these games are in a playable state at all.
If he's a Sony fan boy, then how would he even know what a Nintendo is? As scientists have determined Sony Fanboys can only perceive Playstation related beings in their frontal cortex.
I desperately want to believe the reason the KH Switch ports haven't arrived yet is because they're making native ports as well...just let me have this dream for a little while longer
It's good, but the original series will always be the best. That's not by influence of nostalgia, it just hits so many points harder. I mean, when's the last time Ash had to save a pokemon who nearly died because of their abusive trainer?
@Ralizah Naruto was leaked last year in a list of characters that Shueisha owns. It's believed they're giving Epic Games the rights to several anime crossovers from properties they own the rights to. As it turns out, Dragonball was one of those properties.
Yokai watch 4....I haven't heard of that name in ages. It's been a millenia since I gazed upon it. But only from a distance, for it was never within my grasp.
