We love it when people show off their creativity in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, especially when it involves the ingenious use of underappreciated things like the polish effects and emotes. This latest ACNH creation comes courtesy of Th3Meow, who has recreated a few iconic scenes from Disney's newest animated movie, Encanto.
Accompanied by Animal Crossing-style piano covers of some of the tracks from Encanto, the video shows Mirabel introducing the Madrigal family — Julieta and Agustín, Dolores, Luisa, Camilo, Isabela, Pepa and Félix, Antonio, and even family outcast Bruno... who is shown with his rat friends.
There are some really sweet little details in the video, especially for those who've seen the film: Bruno's mischievous grin, Agustín's bee stings, and Dolores using the "Listening Ears" emote, which is pretty spot-on. Plus, all the characters have custom-designed outfits to match their movie counterparts!
What about Mirabel? Well, although her glasses are purple in the ACNH recreation and green in the movie, Mirabel's Animal Crossing version is pretty accurate too, with her colourfully-embroidered dress, her little bag, and her role as the character who introduces you to the family and the casita. Sadly, there are no arepas in Animal Crossing for her to eat... but there are doughnuts!

I’ll have to show this to my son he loves both
We don’t talk about Bruno is just.. MMM.
Still haven't seen the movie, but I keep seeing stuff about Bruno posted all over Twitter. Have I been majorly spoiled?
the fact that nearly two years after its initial release, people are still being so creative with the somewhat limited tools of Animal Crossing, is wonderful.
Who's the character with the green hood? Can someone tell me about him?
@Not_Soos Possibly regarding Bruno. But I think you'll still enjoy the movie and still find it really touching
Encanto is enchanting, I see what you did there.
Y'all didn't get the memo? We DON'T talk about Bruno!
On a serious note, I just saw Encanto for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved it! I find many of the characters (particularly Luisa and Bruno) very relatable.
@patbacknitro18 We don't talk about Bruno.
@UmbreonsPapa I hope so. I've been pretty disappointed lately with a lot of Disney's animated movies--even the ones that get a lot of critical acclaim. I heard Soul was supposed to be really emotional, but I thought it was pretty underwhelming. Didn't like Frozen, didn't like Moana. Coco and Raya were decent, but even they fell short of my expectations a little. Maybe I'm just too nitpicky. I really enjoyed Zootopia, though--that one was great.
We don't talk about Sea Bass, no, no.
Nice sub-heading! 😂
