Trademark Suggests Yo-Kai Watch Spin-Off 'Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life' Could Head West

Honestly I've been really in the mood for new Yo-kai stuff recently so at this point I'll take anything...still hoping for yo-kai 4 though

Yokai watch 4....I haven't heard of that name in ages. It's been a millenia since I gazed upon it. But only from a distance, for it was never within my grasp.

Didn't the Yokai Watch series bomb hard in North America?

That moment when the obscure Yokai Watch spin-off may be localized before Yokai Watch 4 itself...

I hope they localize it and Yo-kai Watch 4. I like the creativity of the Yo-kai series and feel like it could do really well.

Well, it's disappointing if this comes out before Yokai Watch 4, given that this isn't even main series, and fans of the main series want to, you know, play the latest main series game in a language they understand.

My kids recently got into yo Kai watch via the cartoon on Netflix a shame to not have a game on switch in the west

Just give us Yokai Watch 4….

Hope people give this spinoff a chance if it does come to the west, played the Japanese version and it was super fun

I like Yo-Kai Watch so I’ll check this one out at least if it comes out here

I loved the Yokai Watch games on the 3DS and I would love anything to do with theee games on the Switch but After waiting patiently for Yokai Watch 4 I’m not getting my hopes up

I have finished Yokai Watch 1, 2 (Bony Spirits) and 3 (Tempura).

This gives me VERY mixed feelings. On one hand, just give us Yo-Kai Watch 4 like you promised, Level-5, dangit. On the other, I'm glad we're getting something at all and I will buy it just to show interest in the series + get new YKW content.

Releasing a spin-off where all the characters are human high schoolers isn't Level-5's way to put YKW back into the public gaming consciousness. Their edgier mainline sequel with a more hands-on combat system is, and it's looking like we're never going to get that at this rate. What a darn shame.

I have finished the storyline of Yokai Watch 3 Tempura despite of Japanese version. I didn't really understand what did they say but i could read some Japanese letters and the game gave me direction which way to go so i could finish the game easily.

@Anti-Matter I have a Japanese copy of 4, but I'd much prefer being able to understand what they're saying, given it's a story-based game.

bro if they release this instead of 4.....

Could just be a formality to make sure no one else takes it, but we'll see.

I still have a plan to get Yokai Watch Jam PS4 version even on Japanese version since i have played some Japanese games.

I love yokai watch and all, but I would personally like to see more news about 4 and switch version of 1 coming over 😔

@Maulbert I think it did decently well at the start but the didn’t get as much people later on.
Also I have Yo kai watch 3 Physical which is VERY RARE!!

@Adhik761 But an english dub for an anime that never officially comes west because the games bombed doesn't mean a franchise is successful in America.
