@KingBowser86 well it basically deconfirms fighters as every dlc fighter comes with dlc spirits. And since Terry came with characters from series like Mersl Slug and such, its not always going to be spirits from their specific game.

@BenAV i think you would really enjoy seasons 1 and 2. But season 3 is a massive let down. Honestly you could skip the entire game and you would be missing nothing. You could skip 3 and go straight into 4 and you would lose no information.

Im sad we will never get a Snatcher remake, nor a sequel to the original Snatcher. Snatcher is without a doubt one of Kojimas best works. Since not only is it primarily storytelling, but its packed full of content and that good ol Kojima humor.

Season 2 is fantastic, but season 3 is absolutely hot garbage. The story of season 3 is just trash, the characters feel like bland cutouts and not like real people, the situations are dull, and above all else the main lead is a Gary Stu. Everyone acts like the main character is some worthy leader, despite the fact that every choice he makes completely screws everyone. No joke the main characters gets a safe haven destroyed, blown to buts killing tons if people. And yet a surviving member of the safe haven says he'll follow the main character to the grave, despite the fact that theyve only known each other 1 day and in that day the main character destroyed their safe haven. Killing all of the other guys friends, and even love interest.

@KoekiieWoekiie Because TOWN was not a good game to begin with. I was given a review code before launch and I struggled to even get through it. The only good thing about that game was the battle system, everything else failed to land.

@BarefootBowser But it says this store had more games on sale. So why is it just this game in particular and not any of the other games not making it onto this list, it just seems like a very odd pick.

For anyone complaining, dont. This is by far the most UNIQUE Goku. Ultra Instinct isnt your standard SSJ form. Ultra Instinct allows the users body react to danger on its own. The body reacts purely on instinct, making it near impossible to receive damage. Which means UI Goku is going to be a very unique fighter to play as in game. Chances are he'll play like Hit a cross between Hit and Jenemba. Full of Counters and odd warping.

@edgedino Yep Multiplayer is 100% certain, though i'm not entirely sure if Online co-op is in. But local Co-op yes.

@mesome713 oh my god no, just no. Nintendo chose the DLC characters, thats it and thats all there is too that. Why would Sakurai say he chose what characters got into Smash Ultimate base game, but then say Nintendo chose who they wanted in Smash for DLC? That litteraly makes no sense at all.

@LArachelDisciple I'm not sure why female Corrin isn't on the Mural, but the recent Fire Emblem games with Custom characters have been switching which gender is the canonical gender of the characters. In Awakening the canonical gender for Robin is male, in Fates the canonical gender for Corrin is female, and in 3 houses the canonical gender of Byleth is male. Though people seem to prefer female Byleth more, male Byleth was the first revealed and was the one most commonly shown in advertising and trailers. Meanwhile Corrin was most commonly shown as a female.

@mesome713 Um no, actually Sakurai did not pick the DLC. Sakurai made an official statement after the Fighters pass was announced that the higherups at Nintendo actually picked all of the DLC fighters. The higher-ups put a list together of characters they wanted in Smash, and Sakurai has been following that list since. Its purely by coincidence that the characters happen to be from series he loves, but Fire Emblem 3 houses was obviously only added in as a promotion for that game, similar to how Corrin was added in to promote Fates. As for Sakurai beating the game, he had to in order to get a feel of the character, grasp an idea for a moveset, and to also add in some fanservice. He does the same thing for every character he adds into the game.

@ottospooky That can't be the case. The Livestream for Byleth was recorded 2 months in advance, meaning it was done by November. And by then hardly any work was left to be done on the character. The last DLC character needed to be ready by February at the latest, meaning that any DLC character would have had 3 extra months of development time had Byleth not been the intended candidate. Which is most certainly the case since its Nintendo themselves who chose the DLC roster, not Sakurai.

@retro_player_22, For now, it's just the Mario universe. Maybe if it ends up being hugely successful maybe they'll expand it with other Nintendo properties.

Since America got Mario Tennis Aces the same time that Japan got Captain Toad, i'm hoping we get a fun game to play for free here as well. I'd like to try Fire Emblem Warriors, but I would really dig some Mario Kart 8 Deluxe action, or ARMS, or even Luigis Mansion 3.

I know some people are kindof mad that Persona 5 has been getting so much rep, leaving the other Personas in the back light, but honestly I think Joker is one of the best-designed protagonists so far. The other Persona Protags are very bland looking, but Joker has become such an iconic design in such a short time.

Starfox is the perfect series to adapt into a movie, or even an anime for that matter. It's kinda surprising we haven't seen any Starfox projects in the past when we've had anime for series like Kirby and F-Zero, and we have a Mario movie in the works. I would prefer it if the movie was animated more cartoony, and less realistic like the recent photos.

More like Awesome Games Done Censored. I wonder what speedrunners got banned this year for the most moronic of reasons. A little while back a player was walked out of the building after making fun of the Owen Wilson "Wow" during his run. And another player made fun of a specific airliner due to a bad flight experince, and not only was he walked out but they begged and begged the airliner for forgivness on social media. The funny thing is, the PR for the airliner had no idea what was even going on, they litteraly did not care.

That's about the length of Shovel Knight, so yea it would be good enough for $15

@Tantani The trailers actually shown a bunch of newly added pokemon. Obviously the core game will keep the Gen 1-3 Pokemon in since the story is closely following the original games, but the trailer has shown some newly added ones including Mega-Evolutions for the Kanto starters.

@fadedcolors Because its a remake of the best Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games in the series. They are worth a lot more than the crappy 3DS mystery dungeon games, which were $40 a piece. Not to mention by the trailers, this game is offering a ton of new content not in the original, let alone whatever new content they haven't shown yet.

@roboshort Its been theorized that it was recycled into the fighting game for Labo, though beyond the concept not much else indicates so. Not to mention that the initial Robot Fighting game was going to take place in the Starfox universe, and incorporate many of its characters and setting into its story. So even if it was refurbished to be a Labo game, a ton of its content would have been cut for it to have been what it is. Which considering the game was almost complete before being scrapped, we might get to see it in action on Switch, just like what they did with Starfox 2.

@dougphisig Zombie U was actually a very creative game. The concept alone was a very good one, with you taking control of a person and each time you died you would play as a new person. The level designs were fantastic, the missions were intense, and the game also had the benefit of the gamepad support. Being able to sort through your inventory with such easy, have a map up without cluttering the screen with a Hud, and not to mention the Motion tracking device which added an extra layer to the game. Stopping every so often to use the device was such an intense feeling, never knowing where whats moving nearby is a zombie or a rat or bird. And when you see one of those lights move torwards you at a high speed always got your heart jumping. It was a really well done game.

@roboshort Actually I could see Starfox Guard being added in as part of the game itself, perhaps alongside that Robot Fighting game that was meant to launch with Starfox Zero alongside Guard but never did.

@PickledKong64 The interview on Pikmin 4 took place during 2016, which was the first time it was mentioned. That made people assume Hey Pikmin was Pikmin 4, however in 2017 after the games release Miyamoto made the second statement on Pikmin 4.

@PickledKong64 Hey Pikmin wasn't Pikmin 4. After Hey Pikmin released Miyamoto made a statement that Pikmin 4 was moving up on Nintendos list of priorities. That was back in 2016, so before the Switch was released. Miyamoto made 1 last statment in 2017 stating that Pikmin 4 was coming along nicely, but ever since then his lips were sealed tight on pikmin 4.

@Ventilator no Mario Kart 3DS has the same amount of tracks as Vanilla MK8. MK8 has about the same amount of tracks as the rest of the Mario Kart games, but the DLC Added half the amount of tracks the vanilla game had. While the vanilla game had 8 cups, the DLC rose it up to 12

@BenAV I'm shocked they didn't end up doing more DLC for Mario Kart 8, especially since its still selling amazingly well as we speak. Not to mention they did end up adding DLC for games like Captain Toad and Pokken Tournament, so idk why they haven't supported MK8 Deluxe with new DLC.

@BenAV Mario Kart 8 deluxed fixed Battle Mode, adding in a ton of new Battle tracks, options, and a few new characters and kart options. Captain Toad got a few Mario Odyssey themed levels as well as some new content including multiplayer and a ton of new levels. And aside from those the other ports have just been seeing more minor editions, like the Funky Kong mode in DKC Tropical Freeze.
