Second, this is making me wish we got a Pokemon game in this style. I'm thinking a "Tactics" style game where you can recruit a party of Pokemon, then you go around fighting random enemies in the 30's cartoon style, while using a wide assortment of very cartoony moves. Like the Steel pokemon can drop an anvil on opponents, or fire types can burn them too ash.
@Entrr_username The problem is each events gathers more and more people, every fortnite events ends up busting records on both Youtube and Twitch, and those are just the people watching it, not including the millions of people who log in all at once. This latest event was yet another huge record-breaker, even bigger than the Season X event (The black hole that caused Fortnite too shut down for 1 week). So capping the servers at 12 million people logging in at once is still a very good feat.
@Supadav03 It wasn't as flashy as most events, but in terms of lore it definitely plays a big role. Though by far the best part of the event is the storm changing into a massive wave, that effect looks so good, and I hope it stays throughout season 3. Its so much more menacing than the old storm.
@TheLightSpirit Actually the game is playable right now. The new season doesn't begin until the 17th, which like most seasons will only be offline for a few hours. The only event that caused a full week wait was the season X event.
The reason they limited the amount of people who could join makes sense, because look at how many people watched the event via livestreams. It broke records on both Youtube and Twitch. Had those millions of people tried logging on at the same time, barring the millions who were already on, then the servers would have been screwed tremendously. Im sorry those people missed it live, but atleast we got the event at all. I was logged in 2 hours before the event so I was able to watch it.
God please, please, PLEASE god let one of those Square Enix games be Kingdom Hearts 3. If the full story collection is off the table, i'll gladly buy the vanilla version of 3. I just want to play it, for the love of god Square do it.
@Savino Same scenerio with me and my little bro. I've been buying the Battle pass since season 7. Its the only thing really worth buying since the battle passes give you enough currency to buy the next seasons battlepass. So when you buy one you never really have to buy another, unless you spend all of the money from it in the shop.
I really hope the extension leads too more EXP. The grind to reach 340 (Unlocking a special costume for battle pass owners) is near impossible without cheating the game via bot lobbies.
Dead by Daylight is kind of the perfect Multiplayer horror experience. Such a simple gameplay mechanic revolved around a wonderful cast of monsters. I am super excited for this crossover, and hopefully, it'll lead to more like this in the future.
@SuperKMx Or perhaps there are those who genuinely enjoy the game, and while they understand the viewpoints and criticisms of said game, they would like to share their opinion of the game and offer equally valid points for why they enjoy it.
@AxeltheBuizel Yes and no. The game was definitley built around the concept of VR. One of the biggest reasons why this game was made in the first place was a concept Scott Cawthon desperatley wanted to make. An Animatronic repair simulator where you had to be VERY upclose and personal with the robots, carefully trying to repair them without messing up and setting them off. So a lot of that game has that kindof "Upclose and personal" element, which doesn't work as well when you're not in VR. But that aside its still a great game without it.
@bluemage1989 Yea the whole FNAf port situation is odd. Because the people who worked on the FNAf ports aren't the same people who made the VR game. The FNAf ports for the Switch were being teased since day 1, with the official reveal being last year. So they were planned for a long while, though idk why it took so long for them to get released. FNAF VR on the other hand was never teased for the Switch, let alone non-VR consoles since its main draw is being a VR game. But it got a surprise reveal of getting non-VR ports, and so here it is. So the whole porting mess is such a weird situation.
@impurekind I'm going bet that they'll add VR support in a future update. With the new FNAF game coming out soon, i'm thinking they just wanted to hurry and get this out before then. But given all the support and updates the original release got, I'm thinking they'll add a couple updates to the Switch version.
@PhilKenSebben Yep, it includes the first 4 games. Which only really ammounts to 15% of the content in the game as it also includes a ton of side mode. But i'll definitley say its worth the money in terms of the content the game has to offer.
Pointless cashgrab my butt, this games fantastic. Its a celebration of the games history, porting over the first 4 games while also adding in a TON of new content, modes, etc. And the lore, this game steps up the series lore to the 10th degree. In a plot where the series antagonists spirit resides within a Virtual Reality game in which he is looking for a host too switch counciousnesses with. Essentially giving his spirit a new physical form to continue on with his plans. Its leading into the next main FNAF game coming out later this year, and all in all its an absolutley fantastic entry in the series.
I actually like the sentiment here. The idea of instead of looking out solely for themselves, they should have been open to growing the entertainment industry as a whole. But sadly that just isn't how everyone thinks, including those in other fields. You would assume everyone would band together to further advance our knowledge of the medical field of science, yet there are thousands of differing research departments looking to claim the credit of new discoveries first, rather than all of them banding together for the greater good.
The last seen from the Q and A tester was the Public Relations department holding him down as his feet soaked in concrete. No one at Rare took a dip in the office's pond after that.
Sega.....taking time to make a game instead of rushing it beyond belief? BLASPHEMY!!! I mean, this is the same company so notorious for releasing games far before they are ready that the creator of Space Harrier installed a button underneath his desk that, when pressed, would bug out the game and make it look nowhere near ready. This was done to fool the Sega president anytime he came to check on the progress of the game, as the creator knew if the president saw the game in a playable state, he would demand to release it immediately instead of giving them more time to polish the game. So too see them finally demand Quality over Quantity is just baffling. It's never been the Sega way.
@RickD I mean its fair considering in the original deal Gorge wanted them to go along with his original script (Back in the day he had scripts written for 9 films, only being able to make the first 6) but Disney tossed out his scripts in favor of doing their own thing.
@WickedUnicarnBoi Kingsman wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have a god awful delay between hits. Lightstabers are swift, consecutive, hits that flow smoothly one after another, giving opponents no time to relate. But theres like a horrific 2 second delay on the last hit, leaving you open to a barrage of attacks.
Its funny to hear Miyamoto compliment the early days of Smash Brothers, since he was very dead set on killing the project with Iwata trying his absolute hardest to convince him to move forward with the series.
@AxeltheBuizel As far as battle royals go it is really neat in how it incorporates the Stands into the gameplay. And to its credits its one of the only Jojo games that isn't a fighting game. So it has some uniqueness too it. I would still really love a Jojo game in the vein of the Yakuza series.
@mrmememan Actually yea, several characters in Dragonball can levitate effortlessly. I mean in all fairness to your comment its most likely them being lazy with animation, but for Dragonball characters, they can at least get away with it. It's not like if Naruto shot up vertically at a 90 degree angle.
@AxeltheBuizel A while back they had announced an arcade "Battle-Royale" style game for Jojos Bizzare Adventure. It actually looked really awesome since the game's main gimmick was using your stands to alter the environment or for some creative combat. For a time there were rumors of it being given console releases, but all news about the ports have died down as of recently.
@Incarna Sadly dubbing the game in English is a very tedious and time-consuming process that would just put a wrench into everything. Its the reason why most anime-based games now focus solely on the Sub.
@nhSnork Actually its not that hard since Bandai has, pretty much, claimed a monopoly on Shonen Jumps series lineup. Not to mention that many of the underrated series, like Hoshin Engi, haven't even had their gaming rights purchased, so it would be easy to add them in like they had in JUS. This just feels like they wanted to really push the mainstream series, which is why My Hero Academia made it in.
To add to my earlier comment, the only 2 series that could match the DB Universe in power are Bleach and Saint Seiya. But the rest of the fighters should not be anywhere near that level.
@nhSnork That also added a ton more Shonen characters than this game had. I was really hoping for them to go all out on the roster, adding in some very underrated characters like Taikoubou from Hoshin Engi
I really like the concept of this game, but as far as I can tell they give no reason for how any of the other characters are on par with the Dragonball Characters. Atleast in Injustice they have a reason for why every character can take on Superman. But in this game, there is no reason for it. If Frieza just started destroying Newyork city, both Naruto and Luffy would be of absolutely no help.
Not only are they trying to push out a shovelware quality game, but they also tried turning a series that has always been exclusive to Nintendo onto other consoles. That shows how little respect Planet Entertainment has for this IP.
@Yorumi The first game is one of the VERY few retro-inspired Indie games that legitimately feels like it could have been a retro game, and not an indie game trying to feel like a retro game.
@Bearzilla823 Looked into it and it was just Popeye the Sailorman in general, not the arcade game. Miyamoto just noticed how popular the series was at the time, and took influence from its many elements. 2 of which were the love triangle, as well as a big muscular ape-like antagonist.
You all thought it was dead, but like a Martial Arts Hermit who disappeared into the mountains 15,000 years ago. A day was destined to come for it to reappear, stronger than ever.
@Tyranexx Nintendo is very open about the Auto-Renewal Cancelation feature. Even before you sign up they strongly advise that you turn off Auto-renewal if you don't wish for it to be active.

Its obvious no one should click the link provided bu the Bot I just tagged in this comment, who as of right now is above my comment but should be deleted by Moderators shortly. But I am just really wondering how they found their way onto this site of all places?
@somebread Actually the Dynasty Warrior devs made a Berserk game that kept in a lot of stuff you'd think they'd cut out. They do bring up Guts tragic childhood with his father, and they even bring in freaking Wyald. The very rapey monster that gets cut out of almost every single Berserk adaptation.
