Japanese clothing firm King of Games is releasing a range of Splatoon gear, and boy do we want it all.
The range of shirts - all based on designs seen in the forthcoming Wii U shooter - go on sale on June 13th for 4,259 Yen a pop, which is about $35 / £22 / €31.
You can view the range by clicking one of the thumbnail images below. There's no word on a Western release, but it's likely that you'll see US and European stores importing these in the near future. Stay fresh!

I like that black design.
Best type of t-shirts are the ones where only those in the know will get it. These fit the bill pretty well. Also, the first two shirts (ie. the one without the squid) appear to say "ika" in Japanese which is of course "squid." I'm thinking the other one is squidish nonsense though... but I could be wrong!
I'll take a faded black on orange like the inkling is wearing.
Meh. I'll wait for the Squid Shoes. I like the yellow/orange though.
@Marioluigi7654 If you look closely and broaden your mind you will see that the 3rd and 5th t-shirt say squid(in english). It is pretty hard to see though.
@ShanaUnite That's a neat touch. Only just noticed that. Hoping for a release here as import tax kills any reasonable chance of getting it at the moment sadly. All we need is for this and the Splatoon gun to be released here and the rest of the cosplay is really easy to do. I'm doing that for my local charity shop the next time we have fancy dress and i can't wait!
These look very nice, but $35 is too much. However, if this is successful, we'll hopefully get an entire range of Splatoon fashion!
@ShanaUnite ah, I see it now... probably most people who see the shirt in public won't catch that but now that I see it it's hard to unsee it.
I have no interest in the game, but I like that yellow shirt.
It looks like they are saying "squid" on the back of the shirts. The "s" is sideways, "q" almost looks normal, then a "u" with a little lip on the left, "i", then a "d" on the end.
And I like all the shirts, but way too much for $35... 😢
And this is why the game says there is product placement. Case closed.

These look great! Glad someone did this. Though I'm not paying $35 for a t shirt.
I think the promotion of this game is out of this world. Can someone refresh my memory when the last time a new Nintendo IP (unrelated to any of their current ones) got this much merchandising ahead of the game's actual release?
The SQUID ones are my favorite and do want. Hopefully they get local distributions.
I really hope Nintendo gets some serious numbers out of Splatoon. It needs to be rewarded when it markets heavily.
