@Waluigi451 maybe they’re holding off on 64 for a smash collection (long overdue imo). imagine a smash collection in the same style of halo the MCC.

in the meantime, melee is super playable on PC with online functionality too & so is brawl

@gaga64 Nice, i’m playing sonic too! i’m playing the legendary Sonic Adventure 2 on PC…and tolerating the treasure hunt levels.

MK11 still selling like that speaks volumes! MK1 is trash! & i saw it coming when they first revealed that weak trailer of it, and was called a troll and poor for it. i guess a lot of people are poor and trolls then, or they just know what a bad game is 😂

@Serpenterror i’m glad they brought kirby back and gave him some games I’ll give you that . mario/zelda/pokemon/smash/mario kart are all guaranteed - but the switch didn’t even get its own mario kart , just a port of mk8. i feel like they still don’t do enough with their other franchises . i tried metroid dread and couldn’t get into it like prime, the series deserves more than to be relegated to a side scroller. we’re finally getting prime 4 but it’s not out yet; starfox has seen better days , and i’ve been dying for a new f-zero for decades.

i can’t speak on animal crossing or splatoon since im not into those, but fair enough

@Serpenterror it never released on switch because they knew it was outclassed by smash bros . even the devs subconsciously knew that crap wasn’t better than smash bros, so it made more sense to go to the platforms where there was no smash

@axelhander to each their own. i guess that’s why it got shutdown twice because it was so much better, lol. and tripping sucked , yeah, but it was still a quality game(especially with mods) unlike temu smash bros/multiversus :/

@sketchturner i couldn’t agree more. it would’ve been a smart move to make the switch 2 silver to really emphasize the “2” & new more advanced switch.

@MirrorFate2 definitely the most boring mk of the NRS trilogy . it’s been downhill ever since MKX, but at least MKX was fun to say the least

@judaspete the thing is though , i’d want the dedicated home version to be the most expensive i.e “powerful” and would expect the hybrid and handheld to be lower in price respectively, because i’m sure there’s some sacrifices on the technical side to make it hybrid and handheld. i wouldn’t want a home version being less powerful than the hybrid version, otherwise wouldn’t it make sense just to get the hybrid ?

disappointing if true. was hoping for them to go back to there 1 console and 1 handheld each generation style, but i’ll still get a nintendo system regardless. they’re like collectibles at this point .

@LikelySatan Wait a minute you didn’t like SF4 at first , why ?! SF4 was always goated , and i agree with you so much about SF5 & 6; i like street fighter the most of any fighter, but damn street fighter 5 and 6 just doesn’t hit the same or better than 4 did . SF4 just had that magic to it, the gameplay and mechanics were perfect for me(juri has never been the same again, smh!) the character designs were great - not over the top, weird, or ridiculous (except maybe hakan) & the roster was chefs kiss. the simplicity of the game menus and online functionality is another bonus, and character colors being unlocked via gameplay and no battle pass MTX bullcrap

to be fair though….SUPER street fighter 4 onward is when SF4 was peak, i admit vanilla SF4 was ok.

i still miss wii online , can we have a smash collection ? i wanna play brawl again !!

This can be said for almost anything nintendo makes, it aint really switch exclusive & frankly that whole "cheap & simple" thing comes with a price (no pun intended). you'd be surprised how many people would rather play nintendos games basically anywhere else instead of on a switch or nintendo device.

If theres no new nintendo handheld or console reveal with a new mario kart then its a freaking wash. mario kart 8 is old as sin and the switch is old.

Will be playing the holy smash trilogy on my wii - 64, Melee & Brawl. So dope that I can play 3 generations on 1 console natively.

@TheNumbr24 sonic 4's graphics was trash too. i applaud them for thinking outside the box and trying something original with the games look though.

too bad it failed.

i miss the hacking/modding days of nintendo, modding the wii was so easy & fun , especially mario kart wii 😂. sometimes the race would start off subtle then people would notice a hacker then they started using their hacks and then another started spamming giant mushroom and star & then the race just became a mess lol . no online bans or anything because of nintendos archaic infrastructure
