The Witcher 3 grew on me. At first, I wasn't a huge fan of it, but I've grown to like it, and I hope they make an upgrade for the Switch 2 so it can run at 4K 60fps.

Probably some Switch 2 games from 3rd party studios. We shall see. Crosses fingers.

Just, please make sure there's more full physical games. Please.

I hope we get a summer direct to help fill out the rest of the year lineup for the Switch 2.

@ElkinFencer10 Bingo! Stop being so logical. The rage baiters can't handle it. Ray tracing, higher resolution, frame rates, bigger worlds, more content, and those things don't come cheap. Look at the budget for Avatar WOW. It has a huge budget, but it was for the effects. If you want better tech, you gotta pay for it.

The Switch 2 is $450 because of VRR, DLSS, HDR, more memory, Express memory which is like SSD, and none of that stuff is cheap.

Video games have gone up in production, so I knew games were gonna go up, and it doesn't look like they'll be a reverse anytime soon.

Also, with tariffs and inflation, this is not a good time for any form of entertainment. Ticket prices on movies have gone up, and ticket prices for live events have skyrocketed. I hope inflation can go down, and prices can do a reverse. I hope.

@TenEighty Cyberpunk 2077 is cheaper on Switch 2 than on PS5 and Xbox. Most big games aren't on the disc or cartridge nowadays.

Well, PCs aren't cheap to make, but they don't cost over $1,000 to make.

@TenEighty I have done my research. Don't make false assumptions, I am no expert, and there's a lot I don't know, but I did study up about this.

@TenEighty It's using more modern tech, which means the chips are much more efficient and powerful. The raw numbers mean nothing.

Also, the PS4 used chips from 2009-2010.

@TenEighty Yeah it actually does. It uses Express memory which is on par with SSD, which is expensive to use. A 1080p screen, HDR, VRR, etc. Also, the games on Switch 2 end up looking better than the Series S versions and sometimes the PS5 versions thanks to DLSS.

The main SOC of the Switch 2 costs over $200 bucks.

@TenEighty That's a different time. Unfortunately, newer chips and tech aren't like that. Nvidia or AMD won't lower the prices of their chips. Why do you think the PS5 and XBSX won't lower their prices?

DKB and MKW are looking so good. SF6, Split Fiction and CP 2077 are looking amazing! I got a lot of games I'm excited for.

@TenEighty The Switch 2 takes over $400 to manufacture. You keep forgetting about the dock. It's not cheap to make. Neither are the Joy Cons that have better HD rumble, motion controls and mouse controls. VRR and HDR aren't free, and using a 1080p screen costs more money.

There are lots of good strategy games on the Switch. 3 Houses, Sparks of Hope, Triangle Strategy, Unicorn Overlord, and Persona 5 Tactica are some of my favorites.

@KingMike That still costs money and they easily overcharge for them. I don't own a PC because I know what a rip off these companies do. I don't mind companies making a profit, but this is ridiculous.

If I have to for SF6, yeah I will. Sigh, why Capcom?

@RainbowGazelle Well, one of the reasons games don't come down in price as much is more companies are moving away from manufacturing companies that use slave labor in China. BTW, I mean that as a good thing.That does make the production price go up. Hey, it's your choice and what you want to buy is up to you.

Nintendo is far from perfect, but no one person at Nintendo makes an ungodly amount. Their workers get excellent pay, benefits and an hour paid lunches. I don't mean this to be insulting, but a lot of you need to take a business class. I got a minor in business and with all of the high tech parts, I knew gaming was gonna go up in prices because of inflation.

I wish it wasn't like this, but it is. Brace for impact, it's only begun.
