I see everyone attacking improviser for whatever reason you think is true (and notice i'm not defending him because i don't know in what way he meant what he said) but in a way he IS right, not everyone wants to play on a portable system and the proof of that is the millions of people (60 on the PS4 for ex) that are buying home consoles and other millions who play on pc. Some people prefer to play on a couch (or a chair, or on the floor, or whatever lol) and watch the game on a big screen rather than on a portable console.. I actually prefer botch ways (my first console was a portable console) but i can understand this and i don't think you people should take this so personal specially since we're talking about people's tastes here. And just to make it perfectly clear i'm NOT defending anyone or any console here (specially not Xbox since i have no interest in it whatsoever).

Well not trying to hate or anything but if it's online only i don't care anyways...

@Bolt_Strike Yeah i mean you know someting's wrong when even Nintendo fans dont seem to be excited for a game like this.. I mean just because of what the reviewers said?? Lmao most of them hate platformers anyways their oppinion is so biased but whatever, ill still buy this game and enjoy the hell out of it wether y'all want it or not

@KoopaTheGamer I understand your point but i think you're confusing updates with mandatory installs (like half of a game on physical and the other half on digital).. Most games, even AAA games, on PS4 don't have that. I do agree that updates can be a bit to big sometimes (one of Battlefront's last updates was 30GBs BIG!!) but you still got the whole game when you buy the disc. One last thing i also agree that carts ARE better (even though more expensive) than discs because of the mandatory game installations on the HDD, i mean GTA V alone is 50GBs big.. :/

@KoopaTheGamer I know i'm kinda late but that's such a biased opinion and it's being beyond fanboy to point fingers at other companies to defend these practices..
On the PS4 for instance (i can't say about the Xbox One because i don't have one) most games don't have mandatory 50-60gb installs or whatever.. And about the SD cards, the difference is a 1TB HDD to put on the PS4 costs about 60€, while on the Switch that's the price of a 128gb card (at least over here)...

No one here's buying it (generalizing a bit but still) because 330€ over here is like the equivalent of 500£ for a British person...

You know what i would like? A 3D Shovel Knight game platformer style (like Banjo-Kazooie/Yooka-Laylee) it would be a dream come true for me, i think i actually dreamt about it the other day..

Give me a proper Rouge Squadron compilation or a sequel and i'll have a reason to buy the Switch before the end of this yr.. Otherwise i might as well wait and see what happens until then.

This won't matter with all the softmodding going around, now you can even softmod your N3DS (normal or XL) just like that! There are even tutorials online if you wanna do it yourself lol.. But on the other hand it's good that they got these guys, they were basically exploiting people by asking them money to buy something (the carts) that's used to get games that they don't own in the first place! I've seen this a lot lately, more and more people taking advantage of piracy for their own 'enriching' (lol i don't even know if this word exists xD) purposes, it's worse than communism really..

@HollowGrapeJ Yes but on the PS4 you can just copy saves to an external drive (like a pen drive or a hdd), the cloud storage is just an 'extra' to people that have ps plus..

I'd love to buy it at launch but i'm currently money-less...

@gatorboi352 Yeah i know that's also something i realized when one of the rumors came out (before the console was revealed one of the rumors was the detachable controllers) i tried to make sense of it then and i got to the conclusion that one of the analogs would be in a "weird" position so when they revealed the console that's the first thing i noticed.. I'm shocked how so many people are dismissing this because of their blind optimism, don't get me wrong i want this console to succeed and i love the concept but that right analog could ruin the experience for me a little bit (at least in portable mode or until i buy the pro controller.... eventually..)

@gatorboi352 That's actually my main concern, i noticed that since the first time they showed the console and i've been asking this but no answer it's like no one cares about this! I really want to know how comfortable/uncomfortable reaching that right analog is.. To me it still seems like you need to do a 90º angle on your right thumb to reach the analog it just seems kinda uncomfortable for me specially because i've hurt my wrists playing football and there are certain movements i can't do with my hands/fingers :/

@RadioHedgeFund A lot of people... Although i usually travel with one when i want to carry something with me, most people (at least over here) don't do this :/

What about a comparison between a Switch game card and a Ps Vita game card?

I'll probably have to order one from another country (it'd still be cheaper with shipment costs).
I used to have an 64gb ps vita card it cost me 100€ back then lol..

@NEStalgia I have a Samsung but it's one of the older models and by the looks of it seems i'm gonna keep it for a while..
The cheapest 128gb (micro) sd cards i've found over here were these PNY cards and they cost 60€ :/
But on the other hand, the prices will most probably come down and at least they don't cost you a leg like the ps vita cards lol..

Micro SDs ARE getting cheaper but they're still a little expensive for some of us, i rarely find 128gb sd cards on sale and when i do they cost around 70-80€ i've never even seen an 256gb sd card :/

@Anti-Matter But that's what i don't understand.. That's kind of contradictory, if you want to remain 'pure' than you shouldn't be feeling Hate in the first place, because then you're being exactly what you hate the most..
I'm ok with your 'condition', what i wouldn't be ok with would be if you came at me telling me what to or not to do, specially because i'm practically as old as you are and the games i play don't define who i am (this is all hypothetically speaking of course because we don't even know each other lol).
Like i said before not all Adult games are evil, not all of them include ultra unnecessary violence, gore, adultery or any of that weird stuff so putting everything in the same bag without truly understanding it is not the right thing to do (in my opinion)..

@Anti-Matter I understand what you're saying about kids playing violent games, my mother was a primary school teacher and she had to deal with some of that as well.. What i don't understand (and this is kind of a contradiction here..) is why you say you feel ANGRY and you HATE adult games, doesn't that make you feel what you shouldn't be feeling in the first place? If you tell me that you try to prevent kids (specially your students) from getting exposed to these kind of games because of the violence, profanity, etc. i understand.. But if you say that NO ONE, including adult people shouldn't play ADULT games because you had a traumatic experience when you were young, that just doesn't make any sense at all
First of all because not all Adult games are as violent or full of gore as you think and secondly because you have no right to tell other adult people what to or not to do.
I don't want you to think that i'm attacking you or anything i just really think that your mentality is not as healthy as you think, unless i'm missing something.. :/

PS: I used to play games like Duke Nukem, Blood, Hexen, Road Rash and others when i was really young (maybe 7-8 yrs old) and that didn't change me at all, i'm still the most down to earth person i know, and very nice to

@Anti-Matter I'm sorry to say this (and i don't wanna feel like i'm stalking you but i just can't take this anymore..) but that mentality is just plain stupid. What do you even consider "Adult" games? Would you consider a game like The Last Guardian "Adult"?
Or for instance a game like The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (i'm sorry but it's the first game of this kind that came to my mind), would you consider that game an "Adult" game and thus "impure"? I really want to understand you but i just can't and what's crazier is that no one here seems to realize how weird that way of thinking is.. They just seem to ignore you.. I like all kinds of games btw, and i actually like more "peaceful" games than action/agressive games so i'm not being biased here..

It's not really surprising, every game over here is 60€ (except 1 2 Switch that's 42€) why would this one be any different...

@AlternateButtons Just because it's a paid system (talking about online here) doesn't allways ensure quality... Ps Plus is a payed system and it's not reliable at all, i know this because i used to have Ps Plus on my Ps4 but so many problems started happening that i gave up on it and cancelled my subscription. And i'm not even gonna talk about about how many times it was down omg because of hacker attacks (and every time this happened for some reason you'd see random people's IP's getting banned left and right, if you don't believe me check it out.. It happened to me TWICE and i never did anything wrong, tech support confirmed me this by the phone but they still couldn't do anything to help me..), and what about the support (phone)... Lol that was the worst i swear most of those tech guys actually "know" less than any of us xD
These are all things that shouldn't happened if our money was going to good use..
Microsoft's Live is actually good though and doesn't have that many problems, at least they don't ban IP's for no reason at all...
So it's debatable if paid online can be used to ensure quality because that is really up to the companies, if they can be trusted with this or not. I love my PS4 but i will never trust them, when it comes to online, ever again and tbh i'm not really that bothered because now i mostly game online on my pc anyways

@emperorbob No one thinks that this'll be an issue (Switch being to big for a portable device) but i've actually seen a lot of people saying the same thing which is worrying :/
Most of my "Nintendo" friends think the same way, some of them even were completely disappointed by the whole hybrid idea preferring either a normal home console or a sequel to the 3DS..

Oh and one last thing didn't From Software say that they had "Dark Souls 3 running on the Nintendo Switch with a level of performance they are happy with" or something like that? :/
And this game barely runs on the PS4/Xbox 1 as it is..

@Faruko Wait.. so the Switch being more power efficient and running cooler is not important? And i didn't imply anything about the Switch being more or less powerfull than the PS4 did i? And of course a Top of the line Smartphone cost 2.5 more times than a PS4, they also do a lot more things (and overall are more important for a person) than a PS4.. I just asked if Nvidia didn't already confirmed if the Switch would use Pascal or not (which i honestly don't know but i thought they did that's why i was asking)..

But didn't NVidia themselves already confirmed that the Switch is going to use a Pascal based chip? :/

Ok you know what man i'm sorry if I said something before that sounded harsh or something like that (it wasn't my intention since i HATE online quarrels like this one..) but all i'm saying is, and pretty much what UK-Nintendo said before, don't dismiss something or someone just because they have disapointed you because if you do that it will haunt you for the rest of your life believe me i should know.. Because in the end NO ONE's perfect i actually don't know which company (Sony/Nintendo/Microsoft) i trust the least but that's not gonna make me hate/dislike/whatever their games, it's because of all this hate that the world's in the current state (terrorist attacks, more violence every day, etc..) if things don't change soon enough we'll be seeing reports on tv about the start of the 3rd world war :S

@Anti-Matter Nintendo aren't perfect either, they've released games like Project Zero, DEVIL'S Third, Bayonetta and such... Plus they've done "weird" things before as well, they once ran a "Love Hotel"...

On Ps4 you got, Ratchet & Clank, LittleBigPlanet 3, Tearaway, Knack, Grow Home (and it's sequel "Grow Up" although it also came out for the Xbox One..), The Last Guardian (it's pretty much a platformer), The Last Tinker, Journey, etc... And those are just the exclusives (some of them also came out for PC but not Xbox one or Wii U) the list goes on and on
Plus you also got some PS2 games re-released on the PS4 like Psychonauts, Ape Escape 2 and 3, Dark Cloud, Rouge Galaxy, etc.
If you think the Ps4 doesn't have enough kid friendly games than by god don't even look into the Xbox One
