@StarDust4Ever 'Spendy' are you kidding me?? $1 gives you 10 plays that's a lot more than over here were you have to pay 1€ (it used to be 50c..) for 1 PLAY :S Money disappears in a heart beat..
I don't think that the NX is going to use Tegra chips at all.. You guys remember that rumour a while back that said Nintendo were also producing a portable console codenamed "MH"? What if that portable is what's going to use the Tegra Chips? If that rumour is true (let's just assume that ALL rumours a true 'cus that's what everyone's doing anyways...) then they couldn't be making 2 portable consoles could they?.. I think that maybe they're going to release the NX first, and let's say i'll be a home console more powerful than the current gen consoles (one can dream..), and later they'll release this MH handheld WITH the Tegra chips Like i said it's all speculation but i have the feeling that we're going to have a big surprise when Nintendo unveils the NX, for the better or worse...
@readyletsgo Yeah and this "Nintendo seems set on trying to upgrade smartphone gamers".... the more i read about the NX the more i loose interest as well :S
Idk what to think.. But tbh if it's on the xbox360/ps3 level of power than... no. The Vita was almost as powerful as a PS3 and it came out in 2011.. And like i've said before this concept (plugging a portable to a tv) is not inovative, i'm not saying it's not good because i actually think it is, but Nintendo said that it would be "a new way to play games" and that it would be completely inovative but if this is it then they've been lying?? I just don't think that this is the whole thing, something's missing here.. And yeah i now the other companies (Sony with the PSP and SNK with the Neo Geo X) didn't have the impact that Nintendo has, specially on the handheld market, but just because it's Nintendo it still doesn't make it ok. And speacially because Nintendo doesn't have the same impact these days as it used to have back then :S
