@dew12333 they sell millions and you can choose between about 100+ devices. It’s probably very profitable seeing a new one getting announced every few weeks.
Love this game. Such a classic. Probably in my top 5 games ever. However, I absolutely hate it how they halved the frames. Still a brilliant game though.
I use 500GB cart now and I still have to juggle games. Games are growing in size. 1TB would be a nice start. Nintendo being Nintendo and they don’t want to loose any money on hardware. So it probably will be 64GB…
It has always been primary videogames (since NES, before that it was a toy and cardcompany); all their IP started with videogames and till a few years ago 90%+ money has been made with videogames.
@Friendly yeah, I do love Super Mariobros 1 NES, but it's kinda absurd to pay 59.99 dollar for this game. Old games/classics already made money and direct ports don't ask much for development compared to new games like uh... Zelda Totk.
So, it's kinda weird to ask fullprice for a few ports. Seeing that most of them can be played with an emulator on modern devices. I don;t prefer that way, but it shows it's relatively easy to make older games available for new hardware (without incurring too much expense as a company).
@Friendly direct ports should be priced accordingly, not fullpriced. I do get it we would like to have all the games on one device. I would love that too.
@LordPieFace I go to a website for a consistent view by the website (Nintendolife). I personally don't even look who writes it. It's Nintendolife for me.
I agree with most of them, except for Botw DLC. Botw is probably my favorite game ever, but the dlc wasn’t good; it was expensive and gave us little in return. It’s absolutely the worst Nintendo paid DLC of the last 20 years.
@CharlieGirl sadly, people aren’t willing to pay a onetime fee for mobile apps. Mario showed this. The game essentially flopped because people had to pay for it

Xbox is giving great support
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Physical Release Reportedly Updated
Great news! I do really hate how ugly the packaging is for these games with dlc though
Re: NES Remix's Dev Worked On Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition
wow.... I liked the interface, slickness and diversity of the NES Remix games much more. They probably had less time for this game.
Re: Review: Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition (Switch) - Speed-Focused And Slight, But Addictive
Meh, I just wanted a NES remix port... this has less games, less graphic flair, less options... sad panda
Feels 100% like a filler.
Re: Mina The Hollower Store Page Listing Spotted
this is probably my most wanted indie right now <3
Re: Review: NeoSprint (Switch) - Atari's Pricey But Revved-Up Retro Romp
I expect the same language in the title with the Donkey Kong Country Returns (again) HD remake, right?
Re: Nintendo Files DMCA Against Fan-Made 'Rhythm Heaven' Remix Software
So, new Rhythm Heaven incoming?
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door?

Re: Atari's First 'Sprint' Game In Three Decades Launches On Switch Next Month
Also, just give me checkered flag 2 (or a remake of the Atari Jaguar game)
Re: Atari's First 'Sprint' Game In Three Decades Launches On Switch Next Month
Framerate looks pretty low
Re: Nintendo Updates The URLs For Its European Website Domains
security is costing more and more. I understand the consolidation of domains.

Re: UK Charts: Princess Peach: Showtime Can't Usurp EA From Its Throne
Quite high for such a barebones easy game..
Re: Nintendo Places In "Top 10" Of Metacritic's 14th Annual Game Publisher Rankings
Best publisher in the history of these annual overviews is Microsoft.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Princess Peach: Showtime! For Switch?
Nope, it wasn't polished as I wanted it to be. Felt cheap, had problems with framerate and doesn't look like it had much replayability.
Re: More Princess Peach: Showtime! Launch Goodies Revealed (US)
This game needs some more polish and development. It’s rough and not exciting. Which is a shame. Won’t buy, sorry Nintendo.
Re: My Nintendo Store Reveals Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Pre-Order Bonus & Bundles (UK)
They needed to add value.
Re: Switch Online's 'Missions & Rewards' Adds Mario vs. Donkey Kong Icons
I really hate how Nintendo implemented these achievements haha
Re: Poll: How Much Internal Storage Would Be Reasonable For 'Switch 2'?

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC
@BLD it’s Pokemon so generous. If it was a small IP it would be annihilated.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC
Does it fix all the problems in the main game?
Re: Hands On: Atari 50 Gets Even Better With Adventure II, Warbirds, And More
Yay for Warbirds. Used to love that game!
Re: Switch Online's 'Missions & Rewards' Gets Festive With A New Batch Of Icons
Still kinda weird how Nintendo is setting avatars behind a paywall…

Re: Poll: Hasn't Nintendo Always Been An 'Entertainment' Company?
It has always been primary videogames (since NES, before that it was a toy and cardcompany); all their IP started with videogames and till a few years ago 90%+ money has been made with videogames.
Re: Nightdive Studios Brings 'Rise Of The Triad: Ludicrous Edition' To Switch This September
Nice, sold!!! Woohoo
Re: GameDriver Is Now An "Official Nintendo Middleware Tools Provider"
After six years of Switch… does this mean that the Switch 2.0 has comparable architecture? Why would you otherwise want to achieve this end of life?
Re: Hands On: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Could Be So Much More, But Isn't
@Friendly yeah, I do love Super Mariobros 1 NES, but it's kinda absurd to pay 59.99 dollar for this game. Old games/classics already made money and direct ports don't ask much for development compared to new games like uh... Zelda Totk.

So asking 59.99 for direct ports is asking a lot.
Re: Hands On: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Could Be So Much More, But Isn't
@Friendly it is, as is part 2 and 3 in an HD collection.
Re: Hands On: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Could Be So Much More, But Isn't
@Friendly direct ports should be priced accordingly, not fullpriced. I do get it we would like to have all the games on one device. I would love that too.

Re: Hands On: Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 Could Be So Much More, But Isn't
I really begin to hate the bias.
Check the title of this absurd barebones collection by Nintendo and compare: https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/super_mario_3d_all-stars
Both titles are megacheap but one company always gets away with it. Both should be burned.
Re: Best Switch Ports - The Most Impressive Ports On Nintendo Switch
Really nice there aren’t any lazy Nintendo WiiU ports added to this list.
Re: Review: Red Dead Redemption - A Fine But No-Frills Switch Port, For A Fistful Of Dollars
Would love these kind of headings for all the WiiU ports Nintendo did for Switch but alas…
Re: Talking Point: Will You Pay $50 For Red Dead Redemption On Switch?
Strange content. Did you guys did this with all those easy Nintendo ports? With wiiu/wii and gamecube ports made by Nintendo?
Re: Three New Game Boy Advance Posters Are Now Available From My Nintendo Store (Europe)
Nice, last year they had them for Gameboy games which were great. These are a bit less beautiful bit still awesome!
Re: Review: Pikmin 1 - A Bare-Bones Port, But A Joyous Adventure
Zero effort, but hey… it’s Nintendo so we need to give this game at least an eight….
Re: Atari Enters Agreement To Acquire Night Dive Studios
Sony will stop them!
