Strangely, Nintendolife didn’t mention this with Pikmin 3 which was 19.99 on WiiU and will be 59.99 on Switch....

@Kienda iOS games need to work on iPhone 8 and up. Also iOS does way more than games. The latest iPhones are way more powerful than Switch, but that won’t result in much better looking games because of the support for older devices and the nature of the OS. It is possible though.

Forgot to add... these ports are nice, but are in now way replacements for new main titles, although Nintendo treats them like new main releases. Which is not a good thing. A port is a port. We also need new games...

Wiiu ports aren’t bad. Except 6 or 7 year old games without graphical upgrades for the price of a new game (or even higher than the original) ARE bad practice.

Be aware! Playasia items always have import duty... that alone makes this device quite pricey.

I hate the battlesystem... which is a big part of the game. So I’m absolutely not going to buy this game.

But please do defend a multi billion dollar company which creates games which are old by looks, old mechanics, old gameplay and bad writings for a high price. You ask yourself is this game worth 90 dollar? (60 + 30dlc).

@Zenszulu Pokemon let’s Go on Switch looked much cleaner. This could be their worst inconsistent Pokemon. I think Gamefreak should do better, much better.

I also think Nintendo fansites should be more honest. If this game was exactly the same but with Digimon most would say things about graphics, old gameplay and bad characters, writing etc.

@RPGamer and Sega has a strategy that is focust on retaining and growing marketshare on pc.

Nintendo fans knocking on SEGA/Atlus door whining don’t seem like a good idea for the well-being of the Nintendo community.

Plus, before Smash there wasn’t that much interest and now people seem to expect them to do so and act butthurt.

I just don’t care. I’m already digital only on Switch...

I really don’t like the port begging.
But I guess people like their ***** on other plastic. Did you want to play this on the big screen? You should have bought a cheap Playstation TV (which was on sale for 20). You wanted it portable? You can always buy that enormous beautiful PSVita.

But I guess people think they need or expect developers to release every game on Switch. Developers are not obliged to do so.

@EVIL-C there are mobiles with 120Hz oled screens, 12GB RAM and 512GB internal space... packed with an snapdragon 865 and a long batterylife...

Those specs are way above Switch. Only cooling keeps these phones from playing highend games haha.

But point is. This game is 12 years old. Who didn’t expect this to run smooth? If the low bar is that we are excited that 12 year old games are running on a Switch than the bar is set really low.

@Coach_A @Coach_A I play it at normal speed and sometimes I unlock thur konami-code. Both are fine. Timed secrets are a bit hard to get. Could be the controls..

All in all, this game is amazing!

@the_beaver in the optionsmenu on the 360 you could unlock framerate to 60fps... that was 12 years ago...

I live Bioshock, but all we get are old ports locked at 30fps. I think they should de better!
