@ToadBrigade At least it doesn’t feel like I’m the only one. Yes it sucks but it’s been coming for a while, Nintendo made it clear from the start.

I'm still very sad over their breakup; their songs were truly masterpieces. Touch. Instant Crush. Voyager. Face to Face. Veridis Quo. Robot Rock. Da Funk. Daftendirekt. Around the World. Technologic. Give Life Back to Music. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Contact. They were all beautiful and I'll never forget them.

My God it’s toxic down here. Ironic how Life is Strange: True Colours is about empathy and understanding yet some people act so pretentious and hard done by because they didn’t get what they wanted.

This was... a very good deep dive into this gam that has such powerful thematic resonance. The reverse Hero’s Journey, or rather the ditching of the Hero’s Journey, was a very fascinating and well earned design choice.

Shame these are so darn late. For me they begin at 10PM.

He already mentioned illness a few years ago, hopefully it's nothing too serious. He did an incredible job composing so many iconic songs, it'd be awful to lose him now.

Frame-rate aside, which is already respectable, I think this is a great port of a game that I didn't think was possible on Switch. Cinematics look almost identical, lighting a little different but all in all it wouldn't be the worst thing to get this game on Switch.

At least they were able to penetrate a market that looked impossible to enter. Even if the average Chinese Switch gamer has much less options than someone anywhere else.

@ralphdibny One of the questions from a recent episode of the UK Chase went as: Which Nintendo series had a game called Ocarina of Time? I was screaming at the guy because he got it wrong!

That is a massive shame. I haven’t read any JN translations but no doubt I’ll be headed over there to see the work of what I’ve seen was a charismatic passionate person.

@NathanTheAsian I know! But most of them were ports or remasters. I still had a massive amount of fun, but hopefully we'll get more original games this year.

There were some cool games. Xenoblade, Hyrule Warriors, Mario 3D All-Stars, Pikmin, Animal Crossing... but otherwise there was nothing. It was a dry year, and hopefully Nintendo has a deck full of aces next year!

@shoeses Could see them adding a new continent, OR two or three new non-playable party members (like Alexa, or Hope) OR a playable epilogue that explains the unfairly ambiguous ending.

Not the most original but Xenoblade Chronicles X is something Nintendo could do a great job with, especially if they ask MONOLITHSOFT to develop it themselves. Their care and attention to even minute details means they could make a great port, and even some extra story or side content.

@nessisonett I remember asking you about this when Nintendo's Kyoto division starred this program. Honestly, go for it if you can. Don't really know what NoA's work ethic is like but it sounds very good.

@Abeedo He's sixty-eight, and honestly I'm surprised at how energetic and youthful he looks despite that number.

I love how his in-app name is Miyahon, because it's a very interesting throwback. In The Legend of Zelda's credits (for the NES), he is credited as S. Miyahon. The Japanese character that is romanised as "moto" could also be romanised as "hon", hence this pseudonym. Koji Kondo is credited as Konchan, and Takashi Tezuka is credited as Ten Ten, furthermore!

Thank god it ends after Christmas Day, I can use some of the Christmas money I've recieved!

How dubious. As long as SNK gets free rein over everything no problemo, but it seems the Saudis are trying to get their mitts on everything nowadays. First they hosted WWE, then they hosted a Formula E race, and now they've acquired a 33.3% stake in SNK, and even got a street race in Jeddah.

@Heavyarms55 The idea of a skimpy story with a truckload of side content, like the original Hyrule Warriors, doesn't appeal to me as much as it did when I bought it. I beat P5R recently and took over eighty hours with very barebones side completion. This is a great idea, but I'd buy both.
