@Taguon oh no no no you have nothing to worry about, didn’t see it that way at all. It’s true that the word’s lost some meaning because of how it’s been thrown around so casually, in this case it makes sense to me though. It’s an evolution of the simplicities of Toriyama’s style.

@Pipulitoch yeah I used to live in France and dealt with micromania in the past, they’re pretty middling from what I vaguely remember.

@Taguon to be fair there’s little other way to really describe it 😅 the colours are less saturated, there’s much more shadow, the designs are more complex but retain the same eyes and face that we know from Toriyama’s work.

This art style is gorgeous, really evokes Toriyama whilst having more shading and maturity.

No way man I'd DO things for that steelbook. Dunno if it's worth the shipping all the way from France though

@BIG3 That's exactly the kind of game I mean lmao. Rebirth in particular's a slog cuz when it's good it's a literal all-time great game but when it's bad I wanted to throw my controller at the TV. Can't rate a game that high in good faith if I had such a mixed experience.

I used to be addicted to longer games but the amount of blatant filler in them has definitely started to grate on me now. It's a shame, because some of these games are right up there but are held back by how long they want to be.

I do wish they had some kind of art book or steelbook with these collector’s editions. That really sweetens the deal for me personally.

I can’t see it happening anymore. Switch sales have absolutely slowed down now, especially with the news of the successor soon. Maybe it can hit 155 million but beating the PS2 feels like a long shot.

Continuing ACNH again, started Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity after a few years away, and that's kinda it for now.

Both of them need to exist imo, Three Houses was the story game and Engage had best in class strategy gameplay.

Started a new Animal Crossing: New Horizons island and bought the DLC, so I'm upgrading my house for the first time again!

@Serpenterror at this point considering they’ve brought back games like FDC I’m not ruling out anything anymore.

I love that Nintendo’s doing this to their old franchises. Shows how much they care about every single game in their library, even the niche ones like FDC!!

I've often noticed that the best producers in gaming were originally directors. Miyamoto and Aonuma are the best examples but I'd also throw Sakamoto and Yuji Horii in the ring too, they don't direct but their essence is always in the latest instalments.

Continuing my F1 23 and F2 23 career modes, both are at 105% AI and I'm whipping the competition, may be time to turn them up a bit. Also reached Act 2 of Witcher 3, have to do some Skellige quests so I can continue the story.

I can vouch for the F1 Manager series, it's leaps and bounds better than the main F1 games in almost every way. Do pick it up!

One of the best Nintendo Directs, period. Had just about everything a Nintendo fan could ever want between Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, the third party games, and especially what Square delivered. Half a dozen day one buys at least.

Bought this game on Wii and 3DS so I'm definitely not getting it this time. Can't recommend it enough though, this game is a platforming masterpiece.
