Japanese comedian Kazuhito Kosaka – better known for his comedy character Pikotaro – scored a viral hit with PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen) back in 2016, and has continued to pump out similar songs since. He's now joined forces with The Pokémon Company to create a new song called PIKA to PIKO.
The song was revealed during this weekend's Pokémon Virtual Fest "Summer Stage", and Pikotaro was even turned into a rather disturbing 3D model in order to promote it.
Can this track reach the heights of PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen)? Or will it be destined to be placed in the same league as Beetle Booon But Bean in Bottle (BBBBB)? Let us know what you think with a comment below.

English lesson by Pikotaro. 😆
I feel this one may struggle to resonate particularly strongly in the West, except maybe for Finland I guess (they need all the publicity they can get).
Nevertheless, an interesting take on the cultural importance of Pikachu, and social distancing. Thank you for sharing.
That does look mildly incongruous.
I find it amusing to see that English phonetics are a source of comedy in Japan.
Britain, America, Japan, Italy, every country has its own distinct sense of humour. It's really weird when you think about it.
I laughed out loud at "Beef?"
This was a bit painful to watch. Then again, I may not be the target audience.
Not only can he walk the walk, but he can speaka’ da Pika.
I somehow agree with every comment posted so far

Is this the "Gets!" guy mentioned in the anime Shomin Sample? That yellow suit reminded me of the show.
