I know not a lot of people are asking for this, but I would love to see a Switch home counsel version. I'm just not going to use the portability side of the Switch and it feels like that's mostly what I'm paying for.
Just bought it on the Wii U eshop for $5. Wonder how much the Switch copy will be. All these ports are way way cheaper on the Wii U and have dual screen capability there. With backwards compatibility and the dropping price for the counsel itself, the Wii U seems like a better bargain than the Switch right now.
Heck yeah, I'll be trying this out. A terrific game if you're a Sonic fan. Great to see Wii U getting attention. If you're not a portable gamer, than Wii U seems like a better buy than the Switch. R.I.P. Backwards compatibility and dual screen gaming.
Motion aiming changed shooter games forever. It seems so clunky going back to using the control stick. Motion aiming seems so baffling absent from the Wii U version.
@EarthboundBenjy I'm with you. The WiiWare version was the best. It was so cool how you could send your friends a demo version to play with you online.
I pretty much agree with everyone else here. Your enjoyment will depend on how much you love the show. Kind of like the Back to the Future game on the Wii. I personally love both of these games, but they both lack some replay value.
Miiverse is a place for Nintendo fans to talk about Nintendo games, post Nintendo screen shots, and show Nintendo drawings. There's no place like it. You think my Facebook and Twitter friends want to be bothered by my multiple video game posts everyday? (the answer is no, no they don't)
I loved Miiverse, loved the whole idea of it. None of my social media friends want to see my constant posts about video games they have no interest in. Miiverse was a great place for the fans of the game to read your posts and for you to see current comments and drawings about the game you're playing. I thought it was great when they incorporate Miiverse into the actual game (like Splatfests and Mario Maker). This is a shame.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Right. I just don't think I'm going to use the portability option on the Switch. In which case, it's not that much more powerful than the Wii U, which has dual screen gaming, free online, a web browser, Netflix/Hulu, and a huge game library. I love the Wii U. I really think it would have been huge if it wasn't for the crappy marketing (needs a name change). For home counsel gaming, the Wii U seems like the way to go.
So sad to see no Wii U section. I guess Darksiders is coming out soon and that's about it. I don't game outside my house much, so a portable Wii U (switch) doesn't appeal to me. Well, I guess it would be a portable Wii U if it had duel screen gaming.
This is the best Mario Kart. Graphics and sound took a huge leap. New 2 people per Kart and they really made it work. Speciality items for all the characters. Not sure why those things didn't carry over to the sequels.
Seems like I'm in the minority on this, but I for one think this is a huge hit to the Switch. I'm not a wealthy man. I don't own a smart phone or even a laptop; but I do have a 15yr old desktop. The only thing I splurge on is my Nintendo hobbie. I loved the Wii U browser and use it daily. I love not having to get off the couch or reach for another device when I want connected to the world. I start the day with checking the weather, news, facebook, and this site and it's off to video games using what I already have in my hand. I often pause a game to look up and bookmark codes or reviews or just facts. Miiverse was great because everyone there was a Nintendo fan, unlike bugging my social media friends with things they don't care about. The Image Share app in the browser was great when you did want to brag on Facebook or Twitter. I personally put an average of 60+ a month on the browser. And when I'm not playing games or surfing, I watch a great deal of Netflix, Youtube, and Hulu. I'm who they made the Nintendo Wii U for. Someone who bases their whole household around it. Heck, I'm probably one of the only people who use Wii Fit U/ and meter on a regular basis. I don't want a game system/computer like Nintendo's competitors, and I'm always proud that Nintendo is all about the games, but if they want to be the light of the living room, then internet options are a must. But I guess Nintendo isn't really going for that anymore and it's a shame. I'm not interested in taking my home console outside to show my friends. I'm just not into portable gaming. When I'm outside my house, I'm usually doing something; not standing around bored wishing I had video games to play. I have always been a hardcore Nintendo fan and don't play any other systems. I understand different strokes for different folks, but I think Nintendo might be off-putting fans like me who just want unique, fun video games and not have to buy something else or get off the couch to surf the web or watch TV.
I love this game. It should be cheaper, but it make the best use of the Wii U camera I've seen and it's simple, exciting, arcade destruction at its' best.
I don't know why I keep looking forward to Thursdays. And what happened to Wii games being 9.99 the first week? The Thursday download used to be exciting, but this is like the 6th bad one in a row.
Best Sonic game I've ever played! The story was a little dark and hard to follow at times, and there was no need to add the two additional characters (Lilac is clearly the funnest). Terrific game, 9.5/10 from me.
I loved this game. Why no sequel? He popped up in Wii Sonic racing, but then not in the Wii U one, even tho it had a Bill Hatcher stage! This and Sonic Adventures 2 really made me think Sega was only going up.
aka, 50% off eshop games. This thing doesn't open or play NES cartridges, or have any way to add games beyond the 30 it comes with. I'm a huge Nintendo fan, but the original NES on ebay seems like a better bargain.
This is hands down the scariest game on the Wii. Don't let the rail shooter aspect off put you; there are lots of options/choices to be made. Great game-play and great horror action.
ExciteBots is the best racing game on the Wii. I couldn't stop playing this game and they really nailled the motion controls. It's fun, it's fast, and it doesn't get as much credit as it deserves.
Cube Life is an awesome Nindie game. They're loyal to the big N, free updates, and you just can't beat that price. Yeah, Minecraft is a good game, but I free dirty and ripped off playing it.

I have this game downloaded on the Wii U, and the Manual definitely mentions this. Not really a "secret".

Where's the Wii U love??

Adult games are my bag, baby. There are so few of them and they're always good for a laugh filled night. Zombeer, anyone?
Re: Video: Zelda U Easter Egg Found Within Twilight Princess HD
And somehow Zelda Wii U still lived up to all this hype. Hats off, Nintendo.

Re: Nintendo Download: 29th June (North America)
Just the overpriced Zelda DLC. I've always wanted to play Bonk 3 if it still holds up. Eh, we'll see what's on sale in a couple hours.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd June (North America)
Some decent Sonic sales this week. I recommend grabbing Sonic Racing if you don't already own it.

Really seems like this could have come out on the Wii U (and 3DS). Loved it on the Wii.
Re: Poll: One Week On - How Do You Feel About the Nintendo Switch?
I took this poll on my Wii U. Can Switch owners do that? Right now it seems the main reason to get the Switch is a game you can play on the Wii U.

Why the F isn't there a page for Nuke Nukem: Zero Hour?!?! One of the top 5 games on the N64!
Re: Conker's Bad Fur Day
If only we could have this on the eShop. This may be the best game on the N64.

I highly recommend buying this for your nostalgia fix before shelling out $60 for a short corded NES mini.

Outstanding game. Really makes you feel like a comic book fan even if you're not. 9.5/10 for me. Best comic book game I've played until Arkham City.
Re: The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
I really had a good time with this game. Think 1940's Grand Theft Auto with Resident Evil 4 controls. Great stuff!

They haven't made a bad Zelda game yet, so it's hard to say anything bad about this. Hope it has some online features.
