Re: "Lack Of Buttons" Might Prevent LawBreakers From Coming To Switch

icerzerocool

They may thought like we're begging for this game to come to the Switch. Look, I owned both PC, PS4 and the Switch. I can just shut up and get it on the PS4 soon or later. But I would want it on the SWITCH because of its mobility. I want to be able to play it whenever I'm pleased. I don't care if they degrade the graphics for 60fps. It's as long as I can play it anywhere.
Just-Bring-It!

My guess is that, the mobile phone functionality is to censore any foul words. It goes like dud and if you're swearing continuously, everyone in the team will hear continuous dudududududdddd ududududududududuudududud dduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddddddddddddddddddddddududuudud udduuududududdddddddddddddddddddddUuuuuDuDUDUUDUDUDUDUUDUDUDdddddddddduuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuddd sound.

Re: Streets Of Rage And Etrian Odyssey Composer Isn't Sure Why The Switch Exists

Well, he is eligible enough to comment on anything. All I see Nintendo is daring to change and innovate stuff, despite many haters/competitors against it. I remembered when people even mocked and make fun of Ben Affleck of being the Batman, a year before the movie even released. Yet, Ben nailed the role. Same thing with "Nintendo NX" aka Switch. Haters complained about the price and everything when they knew the idea and when they watched the teaser. Now look at the Switch today.
I have PS4, PC and Switch. But I played more on the Switch now and it's like my 2nd "mobile phone" that I brought with me everywhere, especially when I'm work travelling. Like seriously, before the "NX" ever came out, I usually bring my PS4 with me and it was so very inconvenient, LOL. It's friggin heavy and I have to careful with it, etc.

Re: Review: ARMS (Switch)

To me it is a solid 8 because I can't get enough of the characters we have. I feel like I want more. I know there'll be dlc for free in time. It's a fun family game actually. I had a blast with the game.

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Dismisses Threat To Switch From Microsoft's Xbox One X

Today's world is all about mobility. Like me and my team of about 40 of us, 20+ of us owns Switch and we bring it everywhere with us; play local etc. Even on our business travel, Switch has become my must-bring item like my mobile phone and wallet.
I have to admit, my colleagues also owns PS4 or/and Xbox and they barely play on them anymore.
Switch is actually the way to go.

Re: Aonuma Says That Open World Is Here to Stay in Zelda Games

icerzerocool

Open world is fine. The Jap game developers are not known for open world game designs, imo. But the western devs are so really into open world games. The would pour down millions of budgets into this genre and cast them with realism graphics. Open world + realism graphics, is the target for most western devs.
The Jap game devs have a different definition when making a game; it is all about ENTERTAINMENT. It doesn't have to be vast open world and graphic realism. It is all about the GAMEPLAY.
One of the closest to this is Final Fantasy series. But even the game franchise have a really wild imagination on the world design, the gameplay and everything else. That what's make Japanese games so unique compared to western games. O
So, if they are going to proceed in implementing open world games for Zelda franchise, I believe this would take more time for the completion, more budget and more manpower. So, expect some delays. The trend nowadays is all about having beautiful and realism graphics. If it is not up to par to that modern standard, it is considered as outdated.

Re: Poll: A Month of Nintendo Switch - Do You Think It's Heading for Success?

icerzerocool

Switch made my mom and dad happy because now they see me always available at their side, driving them places to places across the state while I have my Switch with me on the go.
Mom was saying, "oh, they have that technology now where you can play on the tv and on the go! Now I see you shove your ass off from the potato couch like you once did on the PS4...!".
Mom was happy.

Re: GAME CEO Explains Why He Has So Much Confidence In Nintendo Switch

icerzerocool

I think I have played so much on games while on the go because of the Switch. When I got back from work, I plugged it on the dock for the big screen. But most of the time I played it on my bed while wiggling my legs. So much joy.
I would use the dock for multiplayer. When travelling with my little brother or playing with my little cousins, the small screen on the Switch still does its job.
My PS4 has been sitting there in my drawing room for sometime now and I have yet to finish Horizon Zero Dawn game that I bought on day one, as I am constantly on mobile and the Zelda game still got me hooked! The open world on Zelda is just so much to do and see.
All and all, I have actually understand now that our modern world is all about mobility now. We need to get the heck out from our potato couch and see the world. Which is the Switch is the answer to this. I have also learned the graphics is not everything but gameplay is. At the end of the day, what plays in my mind before I am knocked out on the bed is the GAMEPLAY, not graphics!
So, I do not mind the little down-scaled graphics for the Switch, as long as I can at least PLAY the game on the move.
I am all geared up with powerbank and hard pouch. Ready to go and play!

Re: Reggie Fils-Aimé Promises "A Big E3" For Nintendo This Year

icerzerocool

They hired the right person for the announcement. Reggie is known for his good sculptures of words and they sound very convincing.
Oh well, it is wrong to have bad thoughts about other people. So let's keep it positive and have positive thoughts.
I just hope THIS IS IT. This is the time for Switch to shine. Surprise us Nintendo!
