Bought a PS4 last year and I like it a lot. Don't need a next-gen console immediately but I'll probably get a PS5 a few years down the road when the price drops. The Series S is tempting but the lack of a disc drive turns me off.

Fire Emblem and Luigi's Mansion are pretty appealing at that price.

@ZeldaFanboy78 I've had a Wii for 8 years and never owned Wii Sports (didn't come with the bundle I purchased). Wii Sports Resort was one of the first games I got for it though.

Maybe if Animal Crossing overtakes MK8D Nintendo will finally consider making Mario Kart 9. It's been long enough.

Surprised NSMBU Deluxe is doing so well. I'd completely forgotten about it but people must be buying it.

Guess we'll be getting another overpriced Expansion Pack then...

Hopefully this gets Nintendo to reconsider their pricing for Wii U ports, though I think the biggest factor was the lack of marketing. Almost forgot this was coming out this week, and Nintendo releasing a Direct 2 days before gave the game no favors. I want Pikmin to succeed, but it seems Nintendo doesn't quite know what they want to do with the series.

@Otherboard It's not silly at all. When Pikmin 3 released originally, the Wii U had sold less than 4 million units. By comparison, the Switch has sold 60 million and isn't slowing down. Every Wii U port should be selling more regardless of price simply because the install base is so much bigger.

Nintendo's best 21st century console. Top-notch library of original games and legacy/backwards compatibility content. Switch could learn a lot from it.

@IronMan30 As a consumer, it frustates me when a large portion of the Switch's first-party offerings are made of full-price ports for games I already own with few extra features or improvements. I know that's not the case for everybody, but it's made 2018 and 2020 disappointing years for me from Nintendo.

@Dman10 I wasn't referring to your situation. I think optimally, the game also should be available as a digital download if possible to maximise access and ease of play. My statement was directed at those who assume a streamed version of a game is worse than a disc/download version without trying both, or so bad that the game shouldn't be available in a cloud form at all.

Looks fun, and I could get it for half off with Gold Points. I'll wait for reviews first though.

Has anyone in the comment section actually tried streaming a game on the cloud? I feel like you should actually test it first before making a judgment and lamenting the situation.

That was a phenomenal trailer. Heard great things about these games so I might pick them up.

As someone who (regrettably) sold the Wii U version I wouldn't mind buying the game again, and it seems like a fine port. $60 is way too much for me though; can't see myself paying more than $30 since I can always get the Wii U version again for $20 if I change my mind.

Would make more sense to me if Forces and Racing were switched. At least both games are actually on one cartridge; that seems to be a luxury these days.

Haven't read the IDW comics but I've never got over the abrupt end to the Archie run.

Every Fire Emblem game since Fates has had this problem. I don't mind deluxe limited editions but it seems Nintendo/IS doesn't care about stopping scalpers at all.

Not for me but hopefully it opens the door to more FE localizations down the road. Shame that it's another limited release and that the deluxe edition doesn't come with a cartridge.

The game seems to be a fun, high-quality product. Too expensive for me to consider right now though.

Not surprising. Switch is at the peak of its lifecycle while PS4 and XB1 are on the wane (though I doubt we'll see next-gen sales pick up until next year given how much of their library is available on current systems).

I've been interested in playing this. I'll pick it up on Switch if the price is comparable to other platforms.

There are still 4 more characters in the Fighters Pass, and Steve already looks like a really unique fighter. I'm especially excited to see how the new Minecraft stage will work.

Already got these when they were distributed in Gen VII, but it's nice for people who don't have them.

Once again, GF finds themself in a pickle. Keeping it at $90 will just annoy new consumers while lowering the price will make some who already bought the DLC regret their purchase. GF should have announced this physical option back when they revealed the DLC in January.

All previous legendaries have come back for the past three generations. This just doesn't feel special to me any more. But, as legendaries typically have returned in the last game of a generation, it makes me more interested in knowing what's coming next.

I'll have to download GO again just for that Melmetal. Biggest news of the presentation and it's disappointing they didn't have a concrete date for it.

Kirby Fighters was a fun minigame on 3DS. I would probably have fun with this but I'll wait for a sale.

Not just the review, but the impressions of other commentors make this sound like a must-play (even though I'm not a huge fan of the genre). I'll definitely try it when I have the chance.

It's a shame this gen wasn't as well received as it deserved. Haven't played BW but B2W2 are still the best Pokemon games of the last ten years.

WGTC is garbage and clickbait. A scoop from them means nothing.

Kamiko is a good game, and I would recommend Fairune Collection (same devs) if you enjoy it.

Love Gunman Clive but not a huge fan of the brawler genre. Still might pick this up though.

This was by far the best Partner Showcase. If they keep up the quality I'll have no problem with these (though I hope to move back to nice full Directs next year).

One of the best libraries of any console, and my most played system by far (with many hours still to come).

Based on Nlife's and Gamexplain's reviews there's a lot of things that should be patched in - if not day one then ASAP.

Makes me even more eager to learn what they have planned for 2021.

Review doesn't read like a 9 to me. The lack of control options (beyond the barebones extras, which we already knew about) adds to the laziness of this collection. Mario 64 especially could really benefit from improved controls (and a better camera as well).
