Any recommendations for Lanota and/or Cytus Alpha? They're the last two I havent picked up yet. Loved Deemo and thought VOEZ was decent.
@XenoShaun Neither of them really clicked with me for whatever reason, especially Cytus Alpha. I much prefer Deemo and VOEZ. They should be pretty fun games if you can get into them though, seem to be popular enough.
As someone who is into Mecha games like Daemon X Machina, I enjoyed Implosion.
I highly recommend Opus: Rocket of Whispers for anyone who likes narrative-driven games. It's rather short, and the explore-and-collect mechanic could be tedious for some, but it really is a poignant and thoughtfully-crafted story. The sort of game you more "experience" than "play." I played it a while back, and it has stuck with me.
@BishopShiozawa One of the first Switch games I bought! It's even worth the full price!
@BenAV Is it a musical preference or just the gameplay side? I adored Deemo as the gameplay was compelling and I absolutely love anything to do with the piano.
@XenoShaun The gameplay more than the music I think. Both have unique and interesting gameplay but I just didn't get drawn in. Had some fun with Lanota in the short time I played it though and it has some good tracks. Cytus's soundtrack didn't really do it for me for the most part from what I remember. Look up some gameplay if you haven't seen them at all, might be the best way to decide whether or not you'd think you'd enjoy them.
Enjoyed Kamiko. Good wee game.
I enjoyed and therefore would recommend the Fairune Collection.
I downloaded the OPUS games. Looking forward to playing them!
Think I'll finally pick up Kamiko. At that price I really have no excuse.
@BishopShiozawa This might be weird, but I couldn't get into Implosion because I hated the fonts. I can't stand a lazy font.
Kamiko is a good game, and I would recommend Fairune Collection (same devs) if you enjoy it.
