@Allspice Rogue Legacy is absolutely my most played Vita game after Persona 3 and 4, I'm really excited about grabbing the sequel. I wonder what the chances are for a physical release?

@AtlanteanMan You hit pretty much every game I lusted after in EGM and Gamepro as a kid without a Saturn. I'd buy a mini-Saturn in a heartbeat.

I'm 10 hours into Trails in the Sky FC, this series is going to last me the rest of my life.

I've picked up some songs from the Guitar Hero games over the years (I still listen to "Even Rats" by The Slip pretty often), and the 2K games have pretty solid soundtracks. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are memorable examples just like the author said. And the Midnight Club games had some pretty great licensed soundtracks if you like hip-hop.

Getting Nier physically, of course, and I'm undecided on pulling the trigger on No Man's Sky on Switch or PS5. Bloodwash sounds interesting, though.

I think I have this game on almost every system I've owned since it released - PS3, 3DS, Vita, PS4, Switch, and PS5. I haven't played it in several years though, so it'll be almost a fresh experience when I play it with all these updates it's received. No many games have this kind of longevity, and I think its worth being included on any top 100 games of all time list.

The idea of calling a white diglett a wiglett is hilarious to me.

I have this on PS4 but haven't played it yet. Never would have expected it to come to Switch. It'll be interesting to see how well the port is done, I might have to double dip.

Wind of Shuriken was part of the recent eastasiasoft showcase - it's notable for being one of the worst looking games I've ever seen.

@Sinton That's true. I think there can be value in a remake, though. I really enjoyed the remakes of Final Fantasy IV over the years, and it's nice to be able to choose which version I'd like to play. But that only works because the game is so good and worth playing in a variety of ways, for me. I guess someone else might see those as wastes of resources.

I'd love to have ANNO: Mutationem on Switch, but can't justify rebuying unless it's a physical copy.

I'd buy this immediately, even though I have access to 1 - 3 on my Vita. Would be great if we could rescue Metal Gear Solid 4 from the PS3 and Acid 1 & 2 from the PSP, too. This series is too awesome to not be available on modern systems in its entirety.

@Sinton But people do enjoy the Godfather in 4K and Abbey Road on modern sounds systems with remastered audio. The Mona Lisa is different, of course, but the way we interact with video games makes them more comparable to movies than paintings, anyway.

I think A Link to the Past already looks pretty much perfect. Like other comments here have mentioned, I'd love to just be able to play pretty much all these games on my Switch, no HD-2D even required.

In the spirit of the article, though. I voted for Final Fantasy VI. Lufia II would be my second choice.

Got my limited edition yesterday and I have to say the art book is fantastic.

Disgaea has so much going on that it's a little intimidating to get into. I like La Pucelle specifically because of the simplicity.

Anyone know if the limited edition of Cowabunga Collection is being shipped the same time as the vanilla version?

Also grabbing NIS Classics Vol. 3, La Pucelle was a lot of fun back in the day.

Loved Fear Effect 1 & 2 back in the day, if this is decent it’s an easy buy. I don’t have my hopes up, though.

Wow, haven’t seen Rival Turf since I was a kid browsing though the games at my local Movie Gallery to decide what to rent for the weekend. Good memory.

I’ve definitely spent money on this game over the years, it’s the only mobile game I’ve ever cared about that wasn’t Peggle or Words With Friends. It’s the dang waifus, man. It’s not an option for me to NOT get summer Edelgard, you know?

I have the first one on PS4, but might grab the sequel on Switch instead if performance is decent.

On Vita I'm slowly playing through the beginning of Trails in the Sky. On Switch, I'm doing post-game stuff on Brilliant Diamond and on PS5, more Elden Ring

Tempting, I’m a fan of both the art style and filling my backlog with more metroidvanias than I’ll ever actually play.

Going to try this out today, I need this extra motivation to get to some of the games in my backlog.

I’ve been waiting for a console release for Dark Deity for months, so that’s exciting. Also grabbing Wife Quest, Persona, and the Mario Kart DLC. Good week!

No mention of the NeoGeo SnK vs Capcom card battler game that released yesterday.

I grabbed Demoniaca yesterday, but I’m not totally sure about it one way or the other yet. I love the art style and having a metroidvania with heavy fighting game influences is pretty cool, but I’m struggling with the controls.

Mildly interested in Labyrinth Legend, Justice Chronicles, and Eternal Radiance.

I like everything I’m seeing except the character portraits. I’m sure I’ll end up picking this up if the reviews are positive.

Played a ton of this on Vita years ago, I think it's time to hop in again and see how things have changed in the last few years. Glad the update is finally out!

Art style/artwork is used to sell games all the time, and is as valid a reason to buy a game as any other.

Anyway if you’re not into it, just ignore it. I don’t get why these kinds of games seem to offend people personally. If you’re not the target audience that’s fine, but let people enjoy things.

I have it on PS4 and it’s pretty fun but repetitive.

I don’t love the art style but I can appreciate them trying something different.

Definitely grabbing Death’s Door and I already got Ruined King and Mercenaries: Rebirth, it’ll help tide me over until Triangle Strategy. Probably going to download BloodRayne 2 as well, even though I already ordered a physical copy thought Limited Run. That game was so much fun on OG Xbox!

I’m about 75% sure I’m getting Brilliant Diamond, but it was 100% sure before the Nintendo Life review. Digital probably, because that box art is awful.

@pixel_jones I’m getting both. I never finished the original KOTOR so I’m really motivated to play it again, and I’m pretty confident the remake will be a different enough experience that it’ll be worth playing both.

I’ll probably get GTA on PS5, but SMT and KOTOR are both being added to my collection this week to go along with Blue Reflection. Wasn’t there supposed to be a new Mercenaries strategy RPG this week, as well?

Decided to go with the Switch version over PS4, the graphics hold up really well in the demo.

Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars on PS5, Diablo II on Switch (I may give Mario Party Superstars a spin, as well), and making my way through the beginning of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (such a good JRPG, I can't believe I missed out on it back on SNES).

I don't want to get my hopes up, but I want a faithful remaster of this game so badly.

@Timptation I got the same deal, feels even better seeing this sale price.

Just Unsighted for me today, it looks great and reviews mention that you can make the time mechanic less restrictive, which is my only real concern. I already grabbed Castlevania, going to wait for a sale on Actraiser and reviews on the Death’s Gambit rerelease. Astria Ascending will probably get picked up on the first deep discount.

I really shouldn’t still be adding more games to the backlog but this is too pretty to resist.

I may grab Hoa if the reviews are good. It looks so freakin charming.

Dreamscaper looks great and it’s got a launch discount so I’m not gonna sleep on that one. Not sure if any of the other games seem interesting, though.
