Seven Sirens is on sale too! Between that, Katana ZERO, and the physical copy of Tokyo Mirage Session I grabbed yesterday, I’m pretty content as far as Switch games for now.
Crown Tundra on Switch and the Halloween Overwatch event and Trials of Mana on PS4. I'm resisting the urge to do my second run of Three Houses so I can play through my backlog a bit.
Hades! I'm loving that game in a way that the other Supergiant games didn't grab me. I'm also nearing the end of Crimson Flower in Three Houses, and it's been an amazing game.
I'm content to wait. I have a PS4 now so the possibility of the Vita version being cancelled as development drags on isn't as terrifying as it once was. I just want the game to be good, and if that takes another two years, then I have plenty to play in the meantime.
As far as Kickstarter games go, the only outright disappointment I've backed has been Dragon Fin Soup. Shovel Knight was great, 1/2 Genie Hero was good, I'm enjoying Cosmic Star Heroine, and Children of Morta seems like it'll be worth the wait when it releases just like Bloodstained will be.
I absolutely want one. Also, scrolling through this list just reminds me again of how ridiculous it is that so many of these games are not on the New 3DS Virtual Console.
It's a little weird that the Vita has been abandoned by Sony for quite a while now but still manages to get more decent releases than the 3DS these days. I've got enough of a backlog for both to last me for forever so I'm not exactly starving for games, but it's disappointing when I'm eager to hand over money every Thursday morning but haven't seen anything worth grabbing other than Blaster Master in a long time.
I have an extra Volcanion or Arceus code I would happily trade to anyone who has an extra Genesect. I really don't feel like making a special trip to Gamestop for one any time soon.
@KIREEK It's the least impressive version of an absolutely great game. I bought the 3DS version when my Vita was temporarily out of commission. It works fine and kept my Terraria itch scratched, but now that I have my Vita works again I'll probably never go back to the 3DS version.
The 3DS version is fine, though, just not quite as good as the other versions. I say get it!
I'll be playing the Fire Emblem games for a while to come, I'll pick up Bravely Second eventually, both Dragon Quests, and I'm definitely getting Pokemon when it comes out. 7th Dragon too, if the reviews are good. Send some more SNES games my way on the Virtual Console and I'll be quite happy with 2016.
I'm glad the game is worth playing, but that just makes me wish this was ported to 3DS rather than the other subpar games Kemco has brought to the portable eshop.
Me: * gets angry when Nintendo decides to only release Virtual Console games that I want on Wii U to drive console sales, because EVERYONE should be able to play these classics
Me: * perfectly fine later when the games I want start coming to New 3DS, but not the original *
It's not my fault, it's hard to address my own hypocrisy through these tears of joy!
@Pianomanfreak Yes! Having Breath of Fire 1 & 2 and FFIV and VI on the go would be heaven. I still have my remake of IV I can play, but I don't own anything anymore that I can play my GBA cart of VI on. I dearly miss that masterpiece of a game.

Re: Feature: The 10 Best SNES RPGs
It’s amazing that almost two decades later FF6 and Chrono Trigger are still the two best JRPGs of all time.
Oh, and while I enjoyed Mystic Quest a ton as a kid, both SNES Breath of Fire games and Lufia II were all significantly better.

Re: Nintendo Download: 16th March (North America)
@RatKing64 It really is! The upgrade system is addictive.

Re: Rumour: Mother 3 Will Be Unveiled for the Switch VC at the Switch Reveal Next Week
@rushiosan I agree, but I've always thought it was illogical for them to have GBA games on the Wii U eshop and not the 3DS, too. There's precedent.
Re: Review: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Wii U)
@Bobb Children of Morta and Cosmic Star Heroine also look to have tons of potential. I have my fingers crossed for all of them!
Re: Review: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Wii U)
@BionicDodo The Vita version is pretty fantastic, and it just feels "right" to me to play a Shantae game on a handheld.
Re: Meloetta is Now Being Distributed to the Gen 6 Pokémon Games
I've been wanting a legit Meleotta for forever, and now I'm about to have two

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th October (North America)
I am VERY excited to see Breath of Fire available. I have a ton of good memories of playing that game as a kid.
Re: Story of Seasons and Rune Factory 4 Get Price Cuts in North America to Celebrate Sales Landmarks
I've been waiting on Rune Factory 4 a long time (should have bought that instead of Fantasy Life), maybe I'll get to grab a copy now.
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Has Been Delayed To 2018
@MitchVogel As will be the Vita, which is what I intended to play it on
Re: Review: The Legend of Kusakari (3DS eShop)
Sounds pretty fun, actually. I'll grab it if the price is right.
Re: Poll: What Are Your Favourite Super NES Games?
My holy SNES trinity is FFVI, Chrono Trigger, and A Link to the Past. 3 of the best games on any system, ever.

Re: Meet Salandit, The Latest New Pocket Monster in Pokémon Sun and Moon
I like it! I generally don't use many poison pokemon, but I could definitely see this one getting some time on my team.
Re: Round Up: First Mighty No. 9 Reviews Suggest The Wait Hasn't Been Worth It
@Marshi At least Shovel Knight turned out extremely well.
Re: Poll: Are You Confident About Nintendo's 3DS Focus for 2016?
I'll be playing the Fire Emblem games for a while to come, I'll pick up Bravely Second eventually, both Dragon Quests, and I'm definitely getting Pokemon when it comes out. 7th Dragon too, if the reviews are good. Re: Review: G.G Series SHADOW ARMY (DSiWare)
Thinking about getting this because I really enjoyed Assault Buster.
