Re: Feature: The 10 Best SNES RPGs

It’s amazing that almost two decades later FF6 and Chrono Trigger are still the two best JRPGs of all time.

Oh, and while I enjoyed Mystic Quest a ton as a kid, both SNES Breath of Fire games and Lufia II were all significantly better.

I'm content to wait. I have a PS4 now so the possibility of the Vita version being cancelled as development drags on isn't as terrifying as it once was. I just want the game to be good, and if that takes another two years, then I have plenty to play in the meantime.

As far as Kickstarter games go, the only outright disappointment I've backed has been Dragon Fin Soup. Shovel Knight was great, 1/2 Genie Hero was good, I'm enjoying Cosmic Star Heroine, and Children of Morta seems like it'll be worth the wait when it releases just like Bloodstained will be.

It's a little weird that the Vita has been abandoned by Sony for quite a while now but still manages to get more decent releases than the 3DS these days. I've got enough of a backlog for both to last me for forever so I'm not exactly starving for games, but it's disappointing when I'm eager to hand over money every Thursday morning but haven't seen anything worth grabbing other than Blaster Master in a long time.

@KIREEK It's the least impressive version of an absolutely great game. I bought the 3DS version when my Vita was temporarily out of commission. It works fine and kept my Terraria itch scratched, but now that I have my Vita works again I'll probably never go back to the 3DS version.

The 3DS version is fine, though, just not quite as good as the other versions. I say get it!

Re: Poll: Are You Confident About Nintendo's 3DS Focus for 2016?

I'll be playing the Fire Emblem games for a while to come, I'll pick up Bravely Second eventually, both Dragon Quests, and I'm definitely getting Pokemon when it comes out. 7th Dragon too, if the reviews are good. Send some more SNES games my way on the Virtual Console and I'll be quite happy with 2016.

Re: Konami and Capcom Are Bringing Some SNES Classics to New 3DS

Me: * gets angry when Nintendo decides to only release Virtual Console games that I want on Wii U to drive console sales, because EVERYONE should be able to play these classics

Me: * perfectly fine later when the games I want start coming to New 3DS, but not the original *

It's not my fault, it's hard to address my own hypocrisy through these tears of joy!
