It's about time Nintendo discounted some good 3DS games.

So sad that the 3DS isn't getting any love. :'-(

Almost makes up for the original not coming to the 3DS!

This is the sort of game that I would have played when I was 12-17, when I had the time. As a 37 year old man, I have to pretend to be pooping to play on my 2DS. Shame it's only coming to Switch!

Also, the review reads like an 8/10...

I loved the Road Rash games and the difficulty sounds reminiscent of those, what with the opponents going on crazy runs after you crash. Bit unrealistic, but the game wouldn't be challenging without such idiosyncrasies.

Is there a (legitimate) reason this isn't on 3DS? :'-(

I'm still waiting for the HUGE announcement. When is that coming? Even if the entire MD back catalogue was available, this wouldn't rank as HUGE. I already have those games on my Mac..

Give us Saturn and Dreamcast games on Switch. Then I'd consider buying one. Give us a new console that can play all the Sega games via digital DL. I'd be all over that.

A SEGA box that lets you play their entire back catalogue via a virtual console would be HUGE. I can't think of anything else apart from a brand new console that would necessitate CAPITAL LETTERS..

It's hardly surprising that a game that is given away for free wont sell particularly well. I wasn't aware of the Kickstarter promises, but I bought SK day one so I got all the updates for free. I only knew that there would be one free update and assumed that I would have to buy the others (which would have been fine). I'm glad that they've made bank with SK and that they've honoured their promises. This should set them up well over the years.

Perfect 3DS title..

I just bought a 2DS to replace my old 3DS that was knackered due to excessive gaming. I have so many digital games that packing in the DS for a Switch doesn't make sense, but Nintendo seem to have forgotten about the DS family somewhat. I would expect some sales at least.

3DS or SMD

These are some pretty shocking discounts. Seeing that Nintendo have basically given up on the 3DS, why not have a decent sale?

The joypads are missing two buttons.

Oh, I meant OG Mario Land. 3D Land was my pre-installed game. I just introduced the boys to Sonic - they love it and the girlfriend is not happy about it. We made a Tails with iron-on beads the other day; I'm hoping to steer them away from being games animals for just a little longer!

Massive pity about STEAM, as it was deece and I wonder whether any plans for a 3D Fire Emblem were shelved as a result of its reception.

Yeah, there's not been too much 3DS-related to bring me back unfortunately! That said, I did pick up Monster Hunter Stories, Cursed Castilla and Super Mario Land the other day.

I've got two young kids, so even if I wanted to display amiibos I simply couldn't. I guess the target audience is closer to their ages than mine!

I also had a take it or leave it attitude until there were Fire Emblem characters hidden away in Codename: STEAM.

@MoonKnight7 I think it's a f***ing cheek that we're being charged extra money for the games we're already paying for. I have nowhere to store the bloody things and no desire to display them.

If Nintendo didn't want me to emulate their old games, they would ensure enough of these little beauties were available in shops.

I spent a load of money on the Awakening DLC and played it a bunch. I bought all three versions of Fate and the DLC and I'm still playing Birthright due to limited time. It only feels as though that game came out. I'm just not ready for this. I wouldn't have believed anyone who told me fifteen years ago that there would be too many Fire Emblem games for me to play!

If you were in the middle of a field with both a PS4 and a Switch, the Switch version would perform better...

If I can play, without a fee because I've already paid for the damned things, my downloaded 3DS titles, I will buy a Switch. Otherwise, Nintendo will have to gtfo.

Amazon also pulled similar sh*t with the most recent Fire Emblem. Admittedly, it wasn't available for pre-sale at £1.99, and I'm fairly sure they weren't expecting effectively three separate titles, but it still HURT (my wallet)! :'-(

That's likely to be £299...which leaves no room to buy a game. Unless I can play my downloaded 3DS games on the Switch I will probably pass.

Why sell the WiiU, a dead console, for so much?

No physical backwards compatibility hurts this. Absolutely no b.c. kills this as a day one purchase.

Apart from 3DS owners. Hard to imagine how this game couldn't run on a regular 3DS!

Only about £150 more than I'm prepared to pay.
