My Nintendo is awful,
@Damo are the above points platinum or gold?
@Bunkerneath it really is. My gold points start expiring at the end of March and still no news of Switch rewards. Tragic!
I’ll pick up Hana Samurai.
@G0dlike its pretty bad
And here we thought that MyNintendo was Nintendo trying to join the 21st Century with an excellent reward program with great on-line facilities and cross-buy etc., but all its turned out to be is a cost cutting exercise by removing the vastly superior ClubNintendo. Shameful.
@Bunkerneath Sorry, fixed!
@G0dlike Couldn't agree more.
A console that has already 10 million+ users and do not have a reward system in place is a complete disaster.
I also have a lot of points about to expire and no idea if I will ever be able to use them.
Just looks like a sale, rather than a reward.
Lamo! 50 gold points to get a €4 discount on a 20+ year old game? Eh, no thanks.
Spent some expiring gold points on a free copy of Gunman Clive HD recently - I might never play it but I can't argue with free. Forgive me for not getting excited over minor discounts of old games.
@G0dlike yeah, a legitimate concern for fans to voice for once. Switch-only owners seem to be impendingly out of luck with these gold points, especially for the eShop purchases where you can't postpone the redeeming.
Nintendo keeps saying rewards... and it reminds me of an Inigo Montoya quote...
Please come back Club Nintendo. All is forgiven.
Was Lufia any good? I enjoyed the SNES ones but reviews of the GBC game don't look amazing
My Nintendo sucks. :/
I want Club Nintendo back!!
They are waiting for peoples credits to run out before bringing out the online service

@chewytapeworm : I had no major complaints except for the short supply of rewards (and Australia didn't get the majority of them). The physical rewards are far superior to anything that My Nintendo could possibly give.
I just wish I ordered several Kirby dream blankets (I only have one sealed) toward the end of its run instead of redeeming my points for a bunch of unplayed icons to fill up my 3DS screen. =P
Terrible. Switch rewards that are actually meaningful can't come soon enough. Surely someone working within Nintendo can devise a far superior package for its customers than My Nintendo?!!
Dear Nintendo, there is no reason to lie about Switch Rewards “coming soon”. You could just replace it with “whenever we feel like it”. Remember, honesty is the best policy 😄👍.
Those discounts are so lame.
I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and declare my Nintendo to be rubbish, while at the same time eyeing up that Chibi Robo discount... I think I might go for that.
At least pal gets something na has not got any thing
I wish we get physical ones and also new games that are not pitcross and where is the switch stuff
@Bunkerneath I agree..
@sillygostly I made it sound like I didn’t like club nintendo - I have to clear it up that that wasn’t the case!
The physical goodies were genius. My Mario Kart trophy is still proudly on display in our cabinet, and the Kirby flying disc is dusted off occasionally in the summer.
Shame I never got enough stars for that game and watch game...
ridiculous
I had an email last week to let me know my 900 points are expiring next week...since joining I have claimed a free theme for the 3ds that's it.I shouldn't moan but...it sucks.
My Nintendo is freaking trash
It's basically a way for Nintendo to get their customers to pay for the "luxury" of pitiful discounts on games you most likely already own.
#RipClubNintendo
It’s very annoying that our precious points expire and we’re not even getting any reasonable game-discounts to use them to.
I've got points expiring soon too. Preferred the old Club Nintendo, at least loyalty was rewarded with something decent.
You linked to the wrong harvest moon
Doesn't really need to be said, but it seems like Nintendo is going to try and run the first year of Switch with no My Nintendo discounts for said console.. possibly because they know that's when most people will be earning their points. Please prove me wrong Ninty!
Lufia®: The Legend Returns is an odd choice for a discount, but for £2.25 I'll snap it up.
@G0dlike are you sure that you are using the word tragic properly? I don’t see a tragedy. Maybe someone needs to read up on tragic things that are happening in the real world, right now?
Oooh The Wonderful 101, Codename S.T.E.A.M and Sin and Punishment are some f my favourite games on their respective systems
@needmorecowbell Nintendo and honesty don't really go together all that well.
@Timsworld I want to defend Nintendo out of loyalty but uh...I feel like I can’t. Just the explanation of “We want to make sure we get it right” when it comes to unveiling Switch’s online and VC (Netflix style or other) was puzzling at best.
These are some pretty shocking discounts. Seeing that Nintendo have basically given up on the 3DS, why not have a decent sale?
