I am in the States and was just able to grab a Switch today on Amazon.

I just went to Smyths Ireland web site, and over half the stores say the Grey Joycon Switch is in stock for pick-up or delivery.

Also checked the Neon's and they are even more available for pickup and delivery.

Every store has the Pro-Controller and they actually have them on sale for 5 Euro's off.

If they would sell me one, I would be glad to test it out.

Not very accessible if you can't find a Switch to play it on.

How many per store? Just saying your getting in stock really does no good.

I am out! I wasn't going to buy one, then my son bought BotW for Switch with his B-Day money so I decided to buy one.

Wal-Mart and Kohls both cancelled my order because they couldn't fulfill my orders.

So now going to return BotW to Walmart and son is going to by a new headset for his X-Box instead.

Not sure if and when I will jump on the Switch Train.

@electrolite77 I can get a phone for $5 that will make calls and text.

I bet people complaining about the price don't think twice about buying a $750 cell phone.

Going to the bar with my buddies cost at least $50. Taking the family out to dinner at least another $50. Going to see a major sports team play is a minimum of a couple of hundred dollars. Last vacation was $3000.

So sorry not going to complain about spending $300 on something that will give my family hours upon hours and years of enjoyment.

Here in the States, I had my Wal-Mart order cancelled because they could not fulfill it and then I had my Kohls order cancelled for the same reason.

There are no Switches available in the States for MSRP. Any retailer I have talked to have no clue when they will be getting any more.

I became weak and decided I wanted a Switch.

Well first Wal-Mart cancelled my order because they were unable to fulfill it, and just know Kohl's cancelled my order because they said they didn't actually have any.

So I am out. I ordered BotW from Amazon for the Switch, I am just going to take it to Wal-Mart and exchange it for the Wii U version.

I will wait for Switch 2.0.

My son talked me into buying one. He said if I bought a Switch he would buy BotW with his B-Day Money.

I so need to fight the urge to buy one, but my fanboyism is starting to take over.

Was just about to buy Zelda BotW on Wii U, but Amazon no longer has it for sell, $47.99 with Prime Discount was too good to pass up. So once again, Nintendo doesn't want to take my money.

When I leave the house, I am working, running, biking, kayaking, fishing, hunting or some other outside activity that is not conducive to playing video games.

If something does comes up, I have my trusty 3DS XL and MK7. No need to spend another $60 on the same game I alreay own.

Nothing ticks me off more than when a company blames me for their problems.

The Switch is just a device for the Hardcore Nintendo Fanboy.

It will not come close to Wii or 3DS sales.

The Switch is the Nintendo device that finally cured me of my Nintendo Fanboyism.

We are a gaming family. 14 yr old son, 12 yr old daughter and myself a 45 yr old dad. We have 2 Xbox Ones, Wii U, PS3, PS Vita, PSP, 2 Wii's, Vita TV, 3 3ds XL's, 3 DSi XL's, 2 Full Blown gaming PCs and too many Ipads, Androids tablets and smart phone to count.

I have no desire for the Switch, just don't see the need for it at this time. Might pick one up Holiday season 2018.

My kids know it exists, but have shown no interest in it. None of their friends are talking about it either.

I check BrickSeek multiple times a day, and not one single Wal-Mart within 50 miles of me (16 of them) has ever had a NES Mini in stock.

I will take my 3DS/PS Vita over the Switch as a portable and I will take my Xbox One and Wii U over the Switch as a console.

Switch is trying to be all things to all people.

No need for a web browser, Netflix, youtube or any other apps.

It should just play games and nothing else.

I know no gamers that are buying a Switch day one. I know no non gamers who even know what Switch is. If you are a non gamer why would you even care.

There are reports that some major retailers are cancelling preorders because of shortages.
