Towerfall and goat simulator sales look tempting

Really want some new joy cons but they seem to stubbornly not reducing....

Was thinking the same thing (where's the update?) I love Nintendo but they do seem to get bored of stuff a bit too quickly.
Probably showing my ignorance here but can't imagine it's that hard to do regular updates or outsource the job to a reliable partner.
My online expires in a few weeks. I won't renew until the games are updated.

Playing through shield with the kids. Deep into the postgame myself but they are still earning gym badges. Tempted by the sale - might get them Lego potter.

I'm fine with it. I love playing Smash with my young son and stuff like this just makes it a bit more awkward. Hyrule warrior's Cia is bad enough.

I was hoping for the odd update (e.g. A few old starter) but didn't expect the full set. Disappointed not to have the full choice for my team but I'll cope.
If people are really that upset then I suggest not buying the game.

Would be nice if they added games regularly. The lack of a regular schedule worries me as Nintendo seem to have a habit of forgetting about these things after the initial fantastic burst.

Shame. Used to love monkey ball back in the day. Might still get this as the kids will probably live it. Hammer throw was always a popular party game when we had friends round.

Brilliant. Didn't expect this but grateful capcom did this even though I won't be able to take advantage of it (no use of my left arm)
Still need to try demo to see if can manage it one handed. Could do so for rerend revelations 2 so optimistic.

Amiibo obsession has left me now - I have dozens of them but they're now collecting dust and I don't buy any more. I only use them for hyrule warriors, revelations 2 and Wario for smash training

Updated version of an older game available to buy and download immediately to keep you going for a month - a girl can dream...

Vaguely tempted by the <£1 disounted price as it might be a fun short game to play with my son.

Love the resident evil games but Capcom's ability to disappoint is exceeded only by Nintendo's (and then only because Ninty's highs are so much higher)

Really pleased about the RE demos.
I seem to be one of the few that really liked RE5.
Now I can find out if it's playable one handed on the Switch.

"Some discounts" is plural. I can see only one at 85% though I may buy it if it doesn't need the right control stick too much (I'm one handed.)

Still working through Hyrule Warriors - finally got all badges just the maps, challenges and spiders to go...
Have bought Wargroove and Stardew valley in the sale but putting off starting them.

Unfortunately I'm one handed so twin stick games are beyond me. Do i need the right stick?
Will get Wargroove as can manage turn based ok...

@Benjoo it plays pretty well (especially compared to older iterations) and haven't really noticed any major warming.
Battery doesn't seem to last more than about 2 hours but I do have a launch Switch so the battery is never great.
Great game if you get bitten by the collecting bug - far too easy to lose a lot of time in it.

Someone changes something and some people complain on the internet using emotive language. Personally not too fussed. Unsure why I even posted this. Apologies for wasting 10 seconds of your time.

Still working my way towards 100%ing hyrule warriors with help from the kids and raid mode in Revelations 2 on my own.

I think we'll get a good flurry over the first few months to complement the excellent opening 20, but after that, like the Nes - Ninty will get bored and it'll dry up

Continuing to work through Revelations 2 and hyrule warriors as I can play them one handed.

In 30 years of Nintendo gaming I've been very lucky with very few issues:
I was caught up in the n64 power pack recall of the late 90s. (Got a cheap GB pocket as compensation!)
My ds lite screen broke when I dropped it
My 3ds shoulder buttons stopped working twice probably from dust collection

My other consoles and controllers all work at last check (I have a full loft)

D'oh - for an instant I thought this was Kung Fu, loved that game in the arcades.

This looks promising. If it's anything like Theme Hospital my wife will love it!

Still play mine daily. Had to update it so I could continue to play Pokemon Shuffle.

I've never met and don't know anyone who feels able to review and score a game without playing it.
However I won't let my lack of knowledge stop me from giving them a review anyway: 4/10

A shame, but having recently replayered a lot of old Speccy / Nes / Amiga etc games I'm rapidly finding out nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
My favorite Speccy game was Bak 2 Skool but it took a conceted effort like Bully to do it justice.
