I loved civ rev but fear this is going to be too involved and complicated for me. I always preferred the original Settlers and Championship manager 93 to their more involved follow ups.

Really enjoyed the "ultimate history of video games " - very informative and easy to read. Lot of the info in other books seems more easily and freely accessible on the web though.

1) can't see how anyone knows for sure - so most of this is speculation.
2) the point is who was first so I don't see how him setting a score now will help.
3) a lot of the judgments above are based on the guy's appearance - can't see how that's relevant.

I personally am not too bothered. I got fed up of waiting (and missing out on nes and snes mini) and bought a retro console a few months back (also figured it'd save me £££ in the long run) so I myself am ok without the virtual console.
Sucks if others miss out though.
