I loved civ rev but fear this is going to be too involved and complicated for me. I always preferred the original Settlers and Championship manager 93 to their more involved follow ups.
Yes! Loved Civ Rev and since getting paralyzed on my left hand side games like this (turn based) are the few I can properly play properly. Looking forward to this!
Really enjoyed the "ultimate history of video games " - very informative and easy to read. Lot of the info in other books seems more easily and freely accessible on the web though.
Re finally implementing cloud saves, albeit whilst charging for the privilege: "praise be to Nintendo!" They are masters at managing expectations and getting praise for doing basic stuff - impressive!
Will take advantage of sales to buy Monkey tavern, World Conqueror, Letter quest and maybe Fairune. Won't get round to playing any of them at this rate but I'm an idiot for a sale!

I personally am not too bothered. I got fed up of waiting (and missing out on nes and snes mini) and bought a retro console a few months back (also figured it'd save me £££ in the long run) so I myself am ok without the virtual console. Sucks if others miss out though.

Are TMs reusable? Big deal for me as really speeds the game up.
Lack of pro controller support is a baffling inconvenience.

The affiliate links mean I've lost all faith in these guides. Sorry.
