Pokemon Shield for me.
Some great sales this week. Iconoclasts, The Messenger, Yoku's Island Express, for example. Might have to jump on Iconoclasts, in particular.
Came here just to vote Tactical Mind 2. The first one was a brilliant if a little obtuse game. Hopefully they redesigned the UI to be clearer.
Also Invisigun is on sale. That’s also a hidden gem.

I caved and bought Groove Coaster when it released on the Japanese eShop last week despite the high price. Best decision ever. The game's sooooooooo good, especially handheld in TATE mode. Haven't been able to stop playing it all week, 10/10 and a personal GOTY contender for me. Nothing else digitally for me this week.
Got my hopes up thinking graveyard keeper was on sale,but no it's grave keeper which looks kinda poo.
Beast quest must really be awful as it's $2.99 on the American store!

Oh, Anthill is going on sale for half price? That's a definite buy then. Was already cheap enough and have been eyeing it off since it came out. Ain't on sale yet though so guess I'll check again later.

My Time at Portia well worth getting on the sale. Assassin's Creed III is a lot better after the patches, too, though still not the HD remake quality, obviously.

I am curious if Nintendo will have a direct soon, now that Pokemon finally launched. Apart from Animal Crossing and the Tokyo Mirage Session: FE there seems to be no real killer app on the horizon apart from titles announced with a TBA and even those are limited in numbers.
Nintendo is probably still presenting the now strong and existing library to potential new buyers, but I am certain they want to keep the existing players engaged with strong titles.
So, is Bug Fables coming next week?
I've bought far too many games over the last 2 months and haven't had much time to play them due to one thing or the other. Even without the one thing or the other, though I still wouldn't have had enough time to play them because like I said, I bought far too many haha
So yeah, nothing for me this week or even for the rest of the year barring a surprise release or a hard to pass up large discount on one of the games near the top of my wishlist..ve got more than enough to keep me occupied for the rest of the year and beyond.
@Lemmy_the_Koopa I'd say it's unlikely. Last year was the same, we didn't have release dates for any of the big 2019 titles and they kept us waiting until the middle of February.
There will likely be an Indie Direct before the year's out with a big Direct following in January like in 2018,or in February like this year.
WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship only for me. I was too old for the Pokemon craze when it came out, don't get it at all.

@suikoden kinda poo is about right. There are some nice touches, but overall it’s a twin stick shooter that gets old very quickly.
Pokémon for me. I don’t have to justify myself to anyone but I will anyway.
I’ve enjoyed the last 3 gens, with Sun/Moon’s main campaign being possibly my favourite in the series. Even if they’re not pushing the hardware, I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.
Also, that its region is based on England is really exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing how they take inspiration from my country.
Yeah it appears that they lied, and the models still look stiff but I’m ready for another Pokémon game since I skipped Let’s Go. If it disappoints then I will skip the next one but I haven’t been disappointed in a mainline Pokémon for a long time.
Another vote for Yie Ar Kung-Fu, as it was great fun in the early and mid 80s. Time Pilot was my other go to favorite game at this time.
Have received an email telling me Pokémon Sword is on the way. Really want to finish Ratchet and Clank 2 first though.
