I appreciate dark souls for what it is and the way it creates a really cool world, but unfortunately for me the game is too difficult and there came a point on the original version were i just couldn't progress. Too inaccessible for its own good, perhaps. But nevermind, I'm glad it's on the switch for people who are better than me at video games to enjoy
@Amsterdamsters Here in the UK the Pro Controller is £65. The PS4 controller is £40. So there is a huge difference here! When there is a deal going on Amazon or I get some gift cards I might get it, but for the foreseeable future I'm out. Which is shame because I'm guessing it would be awesome with Splatoon 2
Nintendo can charge what they want, of course, but I am putting off buying a Pro Controller because of the price. Loving my Switch but can't justify paying that much for a controller. The dock, in my opinion, is very expensive for what it is. So won't be buying that either.
Nintendo have to go big at E3 to draw in the people who didn't see enough to preorder for launch. I hope Nintendo go all out and make it a memorable E3 with loads of new and upcoming games
This question is the crux of the issue for the Switch. If this came out on 3DS it would be given good reviews and would last about 20 hours and cost about £30 when released. But with BOtW in 3D with potentially hundreds of hours of gameplay, and a £50 price tag, can these games co-exist? Will they price the games differently or will they just go for the higher price?
People who like handheld gaming for th design, as well as more budget friendly games might not take to the Switch if it offers handheld experiences at console prices. It will be interesting to see what Nintendo does and how the two areas co-exist on the Switch
I love my 3DS and I love the kind of games there are on the 3DS (particularly RPGs). With this console/handheld hybrid in the Switch. I am worried that these kind of games won't be made any more. For this reason, I hope in the future Nintendo continues with a handheld only system.
Despite it's flaws, I really liked the first Yo-Kai Watch. From what I've seen of reviews the same flaws are still there but I might still pick it up. The way they constructed the world and the town was really good so it might be worth another visit when the time of release comes.
I was hoping for a lower price point, but can accept the £280 launch price. However, the price of the accessories such as pro controller and joy-cons is ridiculous. Also, after having the 3DS as my main go to system over the past few years the price of Switch games is a little steep. I usually pay around £30 for a new 3DS game but have preordered Zelda for £50. I won't have many games for the Switch at these prices.
If they charge for the service and it is terrible then Nintendo will be absolutely hammered by the consumer. They need to pull out all the stops with this one
The Switch has been 'revealed' and still more rumours! I agree with people in the comments, Nintendo needs to stop porting over old games. Just get some new games shown which utilise the system, and get them shown QUICK!
Not getting a Pro Controller (which I was going to do before the presentation) because it is too expensive. I will also not buy a charging grip. I will just put the joy-cons on the Switch when docked and charge them while I'm not using it, in standby mode I'm guessing (if it's anything like PS4)

Re: Talking Point: The DLC Expansion Pass for Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Both Surprising and Inevitable
My thoughts:
Maybe they didn't have time to finish the game? If so why are they making us pay extra to get the whole game?
It will keep people playing well into 2018
If they do it like Dark Souls then it could add new areas and be worth the money
If it's just a few add ons then only the hardcore fans will lap it up
