As an owner of the physical and digital version of the incredible Raiden IV x Mikado Remix I'm really hoping that when I finally get a Switch 2 I don't have to keep my original Switch just to play it!

Last two physical games I'm buying this year are SMG 1+2 and MP4. That's plenty enough for me with my backlog!

SMG off 3D all stars, not paying £50 just for the sequel!

Nothing at all there for me but I buy a Nintendo console to play first party games! Another Nintendo Direct would be nice, give me a reason to buy a Switch 2!!!

Not even picking up a Switch 2 yet, maybe next year. As long as MP4 is a Switch 1 game I'm good.

I can play MP4 Beyond on my Switch, only Switch 2 game I want is MKW so I can wait until next year.

I only really buy first party games for my Switch on cartridge, when and if Nintendo stop full game carts is when I will stop buying them and just play all the games I've collected over the years.

@Medic_alert I reckon they'll be £55 in Argos/Smyth's etc. TOTK cost me £50 so not a huge leap.

@mazzel Some 3rd party Devs have actually come out and said they will provide free updates to make Switch games look/perform better on Switch 2

@Simu001 Super Mario Sunshine works perfectly well without analog triggers after people said it would be unusable so what are you worried about?

@Arkham24601 no it won't, only NSO subscribers can get a GC controller in the first wave so shouldn't be an issue

@Ulysses can already see a situation where parents buy the S2 physical versions of Pokémon and MP4 only to discover they won't work on little Billy's original Switch.

@Ulysses upgrade packs are free if you have NSO+EP

@LEGEND_MARIOID saves can be carried across and free upgrades for both games to NSO+EP subscribers
