Just finished my first playthrough of dark souls remastered. Was such a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to dig into NG+ co-op eventually. For now I moved on to replaying TWEWY before the sequel comes out next year!

Completely unexpected. I wouldn’t of asked for him personally but I’m so happy he’s in and I’m really excited! Seems like a fun character and it looks well done! The stage looks so cool too!!

Not a problem I’m still clearing my backlog 😓 but I’m really happy to hear of the possible physical, that’s what I’ve been hoping for. Gladly will wait for that

I had the special edition pre order and was ready to pickup this morning at my local game store... when I got there I had to wait an hour to hear the shipment didn’t come in yet ); was pretty upset, but I have dark souls to keep me occupied in the meantime. Hope whoever got it today has fun!

Most excited for Scott pilgrim and shadow dragon. Can’t wait to pickup the physical for it on Friday. December seems to have some decent rollout for releases as well as all the sales going on.

I’ll be playing mostly age of calamity this weekend but depending on progress within the game, I might swap back and forth with friends of ringo. Recently got back into it the other day and man am I mad at myself for even putting it down to start with.

@westman98 deleted my comment before I even seen this reply. I looked it up and found that mhw is considered mh5, must’ve forgot about it or have never known in the first place. I don’t think mh6 would be in reference to a separate game considering there was leaks of rise being on pc. Either way I’m thankful it’s back on switch

Like most I’ll be picking up age of calamity tomorrow morning at my local GameStop! Very excited to see more exposure towards some of the characters we don’t have much background on and see how it played out 100 years before. Demo was great and the combat imo is polished better than the first. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It’s been said countless times already in here but I hope this means major improvements will happen soon. I really want the gen 4 remakes to be great. Those are the most memorable & my personal favorite Pokémon games

Very odd decision and I can see how this would turn out really bad but if it’s not that hard to get the currency I don’t see where there’s a problem. I haven’t played go in a very long time from what I remember you get them from raids and such? Seems simple enough if you play enough to have Pokémon you care to transfer

I’m super excited, normally this would be a day 1 purchase but not only do I have a lot of games already to play, calamity will be out by then, and so will the localization of FE1. No worries tho I’m crossing my finger for a physical anyways, hopefully it comes!

So happy this series is continuing to thrive more and more. I started my playthrough for black eagles when it came out and I’m not sure why but I got super sidetracked. I finally found the time and Im pretty close to beating my first playthrough. Such a great game, been having a magical experience. Might not be my favorite FE game so far, but it’s it’s own thing imo like how BOTW is. Hopefully I can do two playthrough’s before calamity!

I had way more fun than I expected playing this on the 3DS, I seen it was on sale last night and I was tempted to double dip to re experience. Only thing that was holding me back was my backlog that I did manage to put a decent dent into this year, but if I keep adding more games I’ll end up where I started :/

Can we stop this nonsense now with the complaining that there’s no physical cart.. Who in their right mind is going to put a 30MB game on a cartridge? The only time we’ve seen that(correct me if I’m wrong) is the DQ collection games but there was three of them on one, even then I doubt it was more than 200MB(prolly less than 100 lol). I’m upset that the physical collection only comes with a code but I’m not loosing sleep about it. Game is 6 bucks so ion get the sense of complaining for the limited release. I’m sure you can spare that amount if you really do want this game before March.

That aside I’m super excited that this is finally officially translated in the west, I hope this means mother 3 and SMT 1/2 also has a better chance of coming soon as well. November & December can’t come sooner!!!

Going to (hopefully) beat Tokyo mirage this weekend and start up either xenoblade 2 or 3 houses. Tried playing xeno 2 a couple times and when I finally got into it some game that I had anticipated for a while came out can’t remember so it was abandoned. 3 houses I can’t tell u why I got distracted and I still am upset about the fact that I didn’t even finish the first house... yeah maybe 3 houses needs to be next

Used to play purely handheld but I have found a guilty enjoyment of docked within the last couple months. Now it’s 50-50

Before this comment section gets ugly I just want to say that even with an open mind; ignoring all the salt and anger leading up to sw/sh’s release I still found it a major disappointment. The last dlc I thought was meh(the small surprise was nice but aside from that it wasn’t something that I would consider Memorable this year..) I hope this second one will change my mind. Going in this one with another open mind, and honestly from what they’ve shown it looks good, so I hope I can find some enjoyment out of it. I hope anyone that also plans on playing it soon gets the same!

@A_standard_idiot yeah I thought the same thing, it made me wonder what the problem was with them being so sensitive with kid icarus games for that reason. Either way I’m glad that we’re getting two of them next year!

Well I seen this coming considering the overly toxic comments under the announcement on twitter(what a surprise!/s).. that being said I hate to be that guy but mother 3 being officially localized seems the most likely now; in the switch era. Next year marks mother 3’s 15th anniversary so I hate to look like a clown but I do feel like we might get that e3 announcement of a collection.. or just them separately.. either way I’ll take it!

@COVIDberry yeah that makes more sense. Considering how 4 did pretty good on 3DS and with the huge hype around persona I can see both of these games doing pretty well if the release windows for them are good. I do think prime is going to sell more than SMT and will probably have the most sales the series has seen(tbf the bar isn’t super high). Especially with these rumors we’ve been having for a bit about the trilogy coming

@COVIDberry I noticed that right after I commented and I started digging more into the comments on Twitter. Really upsetting but I get it, the game is a super small file. The reason why I have more hope for SMT1 being localized is because I believe this was announced for the Japanese virtual console a bit back so I’m thinking they might do the same since SMT jus got onnit as well. I mean with the buzz from 5 and nocturne coming out next year it wouldn’t be a bad idea to drop it early 2021 to raise the hype even more

Need to pre order the physical ASAP, this was such a delightful surprise I’m so excited!!! I hope this means SMT1 has a better chance of being localized and given this treatment too ;-; one can dream

I was hoping for a fantasy life sequel/port for switch but It seems even more unlikely than it was before ); level 5 has a decent amount of games I do enjoy, really hope they figure this out

Been playing a TON of SMT4 and I absolutely love it. That’s what will be 90% of this weekend aside from a little Mario 35 on the side.

@ricklongo I can definitely see how it would be something you would be unsure about due to how different they’re but in terms of story wise I think it’s some thing even if you aren’t into musou’s you should be hyped for. Even if you don’t play it, watching the cutscenes/reading about the story getting insight right before BOTW2 is a treat for everyone that enjoys the series in itself imo(as long as it’s done good tho ofc)

As a Zelda fan I don’t see how you can’t be absolutely hyped for this game. I get it’s a warriors game but it seems like they’ve learned a lot from making these lately. The combat looks way more polished now with nice additions like the skills we seen from treehouse. Looking forward to how the story plays out and all the characters we get to play as!

I got em all right! I had to guess for the 2 quirky ones on here. Been playing mc since it was like $10 online I can’t remember it’s been a while. Crazy to see how far and how much better it’s gotten. Now it’s in smash? That’s insane to me. Super excited for the smash & mc livestream tomorrow and I’m looking forward to everything Minecraft’s got planned going forward

Looks really great! Seems like the combat is a lil different like scrambled so hopefully I don’t get as bored as the last warriors game and fe warriors. Either way the story is gonna be great

I have been waiting for a new back to form monster hunter for so long I’m so happy it’s finally coming. Looks like they left all the weird not so great mechanics from cross and double cross and it’s back to like 3&4U.. with some hints of mhw elements added. Im gonna be lost in this game thank u so much capcom!

I finally got Tokyo mirage sessions and I started it yesterday. Absolutely love it and I’m so upset I didn’t pick it up earlier(although I made a very respectable dent through my backlog these last couple months). I’m going to be playing that and only that until it’s completed. I’m sure I can do it before Friday.. can’t not play the 3D Mario all stars as soon as it drops... it’s too nostalgic

If they do announce it I’m going to loose it. The memories I had on 4U were legendary. I made so many friends from it and I still talk to em today. I hope it isn’t an open world driven one, the traditional ones were awesome

If we being real, Nintendo barely dropped anything in terms of first party games, barely has been vocal like normal about their schedule, yet in the video game area even with Sony & Microsoft dropping new consoles, off animal crossing and this Mario collection they’re gonna prolly have close earnings. Crazy

I really hope these merch releases turn out to be followed by a 3 pack for the switch but.. I guess that would be a lil too much for wishful thinking? I dunno, but I do see at least earthbound coming since it never was alluded towards SNES VC(but that was obvious considering they could sell it separately making way more $$$)

I can see where people could be disappointed if you aren’t into SMT but I was expecting literally nothing or something worse and came out pretty happy. Hopefully this means Atlus is going to provide more games in the future! Hope there’s another mini/regular direct within 4 months tho :/

In all honesty with all this support I don’t see how they don’t understand we want their games and will pay them money. They keep saying they need to know we want these games and yet it’s highly requested and whatever they do give us it’s eaten up.. I’m interested in this game either way so imma get it but I hope this sends the message that P5 really should be on the switch

So far it looks like the DLC is something that is turning interesting. There’s barely any new Pokémon tho which is a bummer but some cool old ones are returning. The areas look a lot more intriguing and immerse. Overall I’d say this should be more enjoyable than the base game. Hopefully they have some bigger surprises hidden within the game itself and are holding off until it releases. I won’t get my hopes up tho...
either way the tundra seems like something I can REALLY look forward to. That cutscene with the Kanto galarian trio looked awesome! Not too big on how Venusaur is looking but Blastoise is looking really cool.
