Re: Feature: Every Mega Man Game Ranked

Rockman and Forte/Megaman and Bass seems very low. I’d have used the SFC version ahead of the GBA one as it’s far superior.

It also uses many assets from the Saturn/PS1 Rockman 8.

At least they have donated nearly $200,000,000 to good causes over the last decade. I’ve supported them for years and have had more than good value out of my return. F1 2020 and Shenmue III are included this month.

As for 15% not being adequate, overheads must have become problematic for them. If everyone slides the charity slider as far over as they can how could they survive?

Check out the small print for some of the charities who send clothing bags to your home and see how much of the proceeds make it back. It’s often as little as 2.5%.

Really don’t understand how there can be too much of a good thing? If I lacked adequate knowledge of the genre I certainly would withhold From making uneducated comments.

There are literally hundreds of shooting titles which would be welcome on the platform but will be unlikely to see a release, so every one which does get a release is a real treat. It’s not as if it robs us of releases in other genres.

Not sure how shooters like the original pop ‘n twin bee can be on the list but there are no sign of almost SNES quality titles such as Crisis Force.

@Anti-Matter GMD/Bemani ‘games’ have always had limited appeal outside of Asia and cannot be classed as part of Konami’s Glory Days as far home releases are concerned. Many people will argue they had a rapid decline in ‘overall’ quality after their transition from 16 to 32 bit systems. They struggled to get to grips with polygon based games when they excelled in the unfashionable 2D sprite based titles. In the early days of Ps1/N64 and Saturn their best titles were still 2D and they were few and far between.

I’m their heyday Konami were a major force with masses of dev teams across multiple home computer, console and arcade platforms but that is sadly a distant memory.
