Those that enjoy watching the Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcasts will be vaguely familiar with The Battle Cats POP!, or as many of us have referred to it - "that weird-looking game with cartoon cats". The good news is that we'll get to experience it for ourselves in good time.
Kyoto-based developer PONOS has confirmed that it's bringing the strategy game to the West soon.
It's always looked rather like Swords & Soldiers, albeit with particularly jazzy music and lots of cats:
In any case it'll be interesting to play it when the localisation is complete - is it going straight onto your wishlist?

Had quite a bit of fun with this on my phone. I might pick it up on my 3's.
I had this on my android phone. It is fun, but just like any phone app it can get boring fairly quick... depending on your taste.

Finally! The mobile game has been fun, but resetting saves whenever you switch devices was just punishing. Save transfer never worked for me, and I gave up. 3DS would be a perfect fit though, provided the price is right.
I'm not really a fan of this type of game.

Pop means something different in German. I am dutch but I understand German, so that made me laugh. The battle cats pop...they are doing something dirty then, lol!
Played this on an iOS device a long time ago... it's a stupid tower defence game. How are they going to sell it? It's free on smart devices.
